The software is friendly, intuitive, and easy to use
The software is friendly, intuitive, and easy to use — which matters when you’re working on a business plan under time pressure. The Forecast section is the standout for me: cash flow, depreciation, taxes, and the related calculations are automated in a way that saves a huge amount of time and improves reliability. It’s reassuring to know the numbers stay consistent without having to rebuild spreadsheets manually.
One feature I’d love to see added is an AI copilot. LivePlan is a perfect fit for it because a business plan is a living document: a small change in assumptions often needs to propagate across multiple sections. An assistant that helps update narratives and ensures cross-document consistency (while keeping the financial model aligned) would be a powerful next step.
Overall, it’s a great tool and I’m glad I chose it.

You hit the nail on the head re: our forecasting value - time saving, accurate and reliable, updates in all the places. This is what many of our customers say LivePlan helps make forecasting/financials less daunting.
Also, solid feedback re: the AI co pilot. If you haven't yet seen the Monthly Review feature in your Forecast Dashboard (once connected to QuickBooks or Xero), you might find it pretty neat. Regardless I'll pass your feedback onto our product team and we appreciate you being a LivePlan customer!

the program is very helpful
the program is very helpful. it took me a little while to learn how to navigate it, but overall its pretty easy to use. it is much easier than building a business plan the old fashioned way.

I would not touch this service again. Absolutely horrendous financial doc output. If you like your fin docs split into multiple pages making any investor question your abilities - go for it. Total dog Sh%t. Hours and hours down the f'n drain. Plus the money. Don't waste your time.
