Local Treasures Reviews

Local treasures have provided a first class service to help with the gardening at our Mum's home. Lee has been very kind and courteous when visiting and always letting mum know when he arrives and what he is going to do before he starts work - so she feels in control. It's great to see the garden tidy when we go to visit and leaves us more time to spend taking her out - thank you to everyone at Local Treasures.

Will definitely use Local Treasures again, really good to find a reliable local company to help with the smaller jobs in and around my home. Thank you, I’ll be recommending to friends!

My garden Treasure did a great job in my garden and was really friendly and helpful; my only criticism is the length of time it took for payment to be taken from my account.

My elderly mother was becoming distressed with the state of her garden, and she needed some jobs doing around the house. We don't live very close so I contacted Local Treasures which has provided a gardener and handyman - and they're brilliant! They stay in touch with me (mum is hard of hearing) and we agree the work to be done. They are both very good with mum too. Thoroughly recommend them.

My treasure watered the garden while I was away on holiday. It meant I could enjoy my trip without worrying that my plants would die in the heat. He rang me beforehand and we discussed the job. I was very pleased with the service and would definitely use local treasures again.

Everyone is polite, friendly and helpful. Such a blessing to find such great help. I’ve been looking for someone like your man who fixed my garage door. Nothing was too much trouble, and time keeping was perfect.
I’ll certainly be using your company again. I’m busy making a priority list at the moment.

Thank you so much.

I am very impressed with the service I have received from the office staff who are extremely professional and helpful. They found me a real treasure to clean my house every week! She is very hard working, thorough, polite and with a pleasant personality.

very impressed. prompt response to my enquiry and further questions. job carried out in good time and done well. will definately use again. what a great idea

Very easy process. They arranged for chap to quote, which I agreed to as seemed reasonable. Work done quickly and no complaints from tenant of the house. Payment taken automatically about 2 weeks later, as they ask to have your credit card details up front.

When my elderly neighbour was no longer able to water my many patio pot plants and hanging baskets whilst I was on holiday, I enquired whether Local Treasures could help. They did and Fran did a wonderful job so I returned to healthy looking plants-brilliant!

Sue came to tidy up my rather overgrown garden for me. She worked extremely hard and was very efficient. Look forward to seeing her again, when she comes back on a monthly basis to keep on top of it for me. Lovely lady.

We had a lovely guy look after our cat for half term week.Richard came every morning to feed her ,sort out her dirt tray and let her out for the day.At night he fed her and put her to bed. Each day he sent us reassuring updates on her progress. We knew she was happy and safe.

I urgently needed someone to do some heavy garden work. Googled it and Local Treasures came up. They responded immediately and I had a call from the relevant gentleman who came and gave a quote and stayed in communication constantly until the job was done.
They did a fantastic job, and cleaned up so well you would never have known they were on the property. Marvelous experience using Local Treasures as well as working with the team they sent.

I needed ceiling bulbs replaced in my bathroom, and a minor repair to a toilet cistern. Local treasures found someone to do the job who then contacted me, came quickly to.estimate. Then very quickly came to do both jobs.Couldn't have asked for more. Many thanks.

I needed a puppy sitter for a few hours and came across Local Treasures. They found me a lovely lady who entertained my puppy very capably in my home.

Lovely treasure, reliable and professional. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend the team.

only gripe - need a 7 day a week phone cover!

So far, so good! Local Treasures seems to be well organised and efficiently run. It is easy to get in touch with them during business hours and their correspondence seems to be very good. A lovely lady comes to clean my home and I have full confidence in her trustworthiness and ability.

Excellent service, very reassuring to know the 'Treasures' have all been checked out.

Needed a Gardener after mine retired suddenly. Local Treasure's found me one quickly and it was a lady so I felt more comfortable allowing a stranger into my garden. She was knowledgeable about my plants and how and when to prune them as well. Very nice lady.

I've used Local Treasures for a number of things that I could not manage to do myself, or was a bit worried about tackling on my own.

The great thing about the 'Treasures' person that came out to help me was their expert knowledge about their specific work they do and the fact that they are mature and trustworthy people from this LOCAL area.

Eddie who replaced my broken fence post saved me a lot of money compared to what I would have paid to a professional fencing company. Eddie has 25 years of broad experience in building and premises maintenance and takes extreme pride in what he does.

Local Treasure, the company itself, has insurance to back up any unforeseen problems that my occur.

I have no doubt that I will use Local Treasures services in the future when I'm unsure of a maintenance task. An example of this is repairing my home or business Windows PC. I would rather have this done at my house where I an keep a beady eye on the person doing the work.
