Really expensive and rude, had both my front and back doors changed as I moved in and they charged me £300 for 5-10min job, while using £25 piece locked, don’t use!!

Arrived and proceeded to take my door apart without any prior notification of cost was on site 5 mins said it would cost 400 to repair and 85 diagnosis no communication about fee for diagnostics. No fee no call bad advertising!! He became aggressive and intimidating and I had to call the police and now my house is not secure. Company not interested when calling back.AVOID AT All COST!!!!

Avoid if you can! I had called them out as I locked my keys inside so needed the padlock unlocking. He took one look at the door and said it would be £50 for the callout fee and £50 for labour and he would need to damage the lock to do it. After telling him that the website stated that there was no callout fee and the job started at £39 he was like i could do £80 plus VAT. So £96…
I was in no position to argue as I needed those keys to lock up the yard so I had to pay. This job that cost me £96 consisted of him getting his drill out and unscrewing 3 screws on one side of the lock so the door was open and I could get my keys.

After reading the reviews I decided to cancel my car locksmith request (Cambridge area) shortly after booking because I was worried that the quoted price by the office who answered my phone call wouldn't be honoured. I was subsequently phoned up multiple times and talked over when trying to decline the service. In the end I blocked the various numbers I was being phoned by. It was completely unwarranted and unprofessional. Do not use these guys in an emergency.

Awful experience, called in an emergency, the guy damaged my front door while trying to fix it and was very impatient and rushed in his approach and then charged me nearly £600! I challenged him and he then reduced it to £438 which is still insane! Do not use in an emergency, go with a trusted local locksmith!

Do not use. There is a callout fee just disguised as a cancellation fee, they come and assess the situation and give you a whole load of waffle to confuse you, quote you good £300+ and when you start scratching your head in disbelief they quickly start quoting a cancellation fee for doing absolutely nothing. Horrendous.

My experience with this company:
I did not need an emergency service and booked a day in advance. The locksmith only needed to switch a front door cylinder but arrived around 40 minutes late. He entered into my front door, took a quick glance at the state of my home and my appearance. Suddenly, he mentioned something to this effect, I know they told you the price starts from £39... Then quoted £89 £129 and 200 something pounds!

I don't know what all these bad reviews are for. I had lost a key for a side door of the garage. They were here within 30 minutes with the cheapest quote I'd had. Very polite. No problems at all.

Romanian man (so he stated during his visit he was anyway) came out after contacted the number on the website and said would have to drill the cylinder as key was just spinning in chamber and would cost £79 to do and inspect the lock.
He then proceed to just snap a pair of mole grips onto cylinder and snap it by jerking them from left to right a couple of times.
My door now at this point was insecure and was put on the spot to have the only security he had available from out of his 09 reg car downgraded from a 5 point locking system to a 1 point.
I had a heart attack in January this year and this ordeal has left me out of pocket to the sum of £466.80.
When he had fitted new cylinder and latch mechanism, I told him I wasnt happy with the fit but his attitude changed quickly and was not very nice and his incompetence started to show.
I really could of done without this stress and I will definitely be more careful going forward and will still unfortunately have to get the door rectified as it now rattles in the frame from his poor installation of new cylinder and latch mechanism.
Im dealing with a father with dementia and alzhiemers who lives with me and I am already drained and not as sharp as normal so have not been at my best which hasn't helped this decision to use this site looking back in reflection of events.
He said it just needs new seals to fix the problem but didnt have any in his car.
Had bad attitude and didnt know what the hell he was doing either !!!
By this point I just wanted him the hell out of my house!!
I wish I had done more research before using this site and not been so hasty!!!
Avoid this site at all costs like the plague !!!

Horrendous ripoff merchants just charged me £50 +vat for what they call consultation fee. The guy didn't have a clue what he was doing . Clearly had no intention of doing anything rambled out a extortionate ridiculous price ,I imagine to put off being actually asked to repair anything. Don't use this company.

Called up and gave us a quote of £39. When the man arrived he said the doors were "high security" & "medium security" and would cost £172.

We said we would not pay and not to worry, he then said we had to pay £40 cancellation fee. We informed him we had not signed anything and this wasn't an emergency call out as we booked it in 4 hours after our first call. He then sat in his car and spoke to his "office".

He then magically lowed the price to £80 and we said no again. He then lowered the price to £60. We went ahead with this.

The reason "high security" is hyphenated is because it took the man 3 seconds to open the door with a cable through the letterbox.

Absolute scammers, I was with my partner and we are confident to stand our ground, but I'd dread to think what would have happened to someone less confident!

website looked good, so i called to book to get my locks replaced. then i decided to check trustpilot and decided to cancel as i dont trust their services. they insisted the technition still arrived, when he did i told him i wasnt interested and had cancelled, i then got another call from the main company saying i should at least let him review the problem - they clearly are very pushy and don't take no for an answer. came up on google from search engine optimisation but clearly all the reviews on their website are fake after looking at this!

Avoid this company, they bait you in with their no call out charge and 'locksmith cheap' as their company name, then they charge you for the call out and prices are sky high.

Back door was jammed shut.
Managed to open it myself, but decided to get pro in to see cost of replacement.

Arranged to come evening before and Dennis arrived on time.

He looked at lock, told me immediately it was going to cost £250 plus, which, given the complexity of this external door, I was not surprised with.

He did a quick fix, so we can use the lock properly until having doors replaced during kitchen refurbishment.

He didn't have to do that, so I want it on the record that this man is an honest subcontractor not trying to make a quick buck.

Don’t ever think about using this scam company to fix your doors or windows. I called them to have my door checked as my lock does not fully turn. The guy came and did a visual inspection and a drill to release and put the lock back in. I was surprise with how hefty their price is. They charged me total of 237 pounds including the emergency call out and asked whats that for as we are not out of hour and its 9am in the morning. I was quoted for 1400 for a full mechanism and 1000 for a single mechanism. Never ever go with this company. They are a complete scam.

I had an awful experience with this company. They were completely dishonest about their pricing, failing to mention any fees over the phone. Upon arrival, they demanded £60 just to inspect the lock. To make matters worse, they were incredibly unprofessional and ended up breaking the lock entirely. Avoid this company at all costs

If zero stars was an option I’d put that! The engineer came incredibly fast even after been told it wasn’t an emergency. A door was just jammed and we wanted to know what was up with it.
After being told a new mechanism was needed which they didn’t have in stock so we would be better getting 2 new doors instead we advised to put it back together and we’ll look/deal with it at another point as it still locked and one side opened and was functional.
The engineer did this, we paid the call out fee and he left incredibly fast.
2 minutes after I noticed the door didn’t even close now and was wide open and not secure.
After contacting the company we were told numerous times we needed to pay more money to put it right and it was like that when they arrived. When we tried to explain this is not correct they would hang up constantly.
Then the shocking customer service started and accusations of us harassing him.
We contacted the police in the end as the service provided is nothing less than a complete scam and criminal damage.
trading standards have also been advised.

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS

Genuinely the worst experience I've ever had. This was the first website that showed up after I googled for a locksmith in the Bristol area and like for every other person here, I got quoted a fee of only 49 pounds if the locksmith could get the door to open using regular methods which sounded reasonable for a night call. Before I accepted that, I decided to check other websites for their quotes, and my first red flag should've been when the second website (emergencylocksmith24.co.uk) I dialed was answered by the same woman who answered for this god-forsaken website. I then dialed some locally recommended locksmiths but since they all quoted slightly higher prices, I decided to go with these evil scumbags. The second red flag I should've picked up on was when the locksmith called and made sure to let me know that after he arrives I would have to pay 49 pounds regardless of whether he gets the lock open or not. I agree to this suspicious demand for whatever reason and he arrives and lo and behold he does not get the door open with regular methods. He tells me that drilling is the only option left to get the door open so I ask him how much he would charge for that. He says 89 pounds to which I agree hesitantly. He drills the lock open, leaves a mess, whips open his calculator and punches in a few numbers before he tells me that I owe him 109 pounds, a figure he seemingly pulls out from the dark crevices of his buttocks. I ask him what happened to the 89 pounds he quoted before and he answers that with 20% extra charge it's 109 pounds. I question him what the 20% was for and why he didn't mention it when he talked about the 89 pound charge (obviously to rinse me out of everything I own and hold sacred) and he gives me vague hand-wavey answers about how it was just company policy and that there was nothing he could do about it. I am genuinely terrible and irresponsible with my money and would've paid a lot more to get into my room but what really offended me about this interaction was how blatantly dishonest this company was about how much they would charge me and the little ways they tried to weasel extra money out of me. These people are horrible evil scammers who should not be trusted at all and I hope that other people unlike me will have the foresight to go through trustpilot reviews before commiting their money to companies like this.

Zero stars.
First, they are NOT CHEAP. They charged us £49 call out, £185 to open our door by drilling out the old lock, and £185 to put in a new lock. Plus VAT, so £500 in total.
Secondly, the man doing the work damaged the surrounding woodwork on the adjacent window because he was so heavy handed.
Thirdly, the new plate doesn't fit the door frame so it looks a right mess.
I will have to pay someone again to put all this right.
I complained and sent photos of the damage and poor quality but they have ignored me. Their website says the work is guaranteed for 12 months but they are not responding to my concerns so I don't know how they can honour this guarantee. The testimonials on their website bear no resemblance to the trust pilot reviews.

If I could give them a Zero if I could, dod not use this company they are scammers
