Absolute crooks! Charged us 700 pounds. Drilled open a lock and fitted a substandard lock at nearly thrice the price. None of this was required. Technician took advantage of a scared girl. Gave a badly scribbled receipt.
Please do your research before calling any locksmith, use AI like Gemini to help ask the right questions before hand and enquire charges.
This is an absolute rip off and dishonest, preying people.

For 700 pounds I could have stayed at the Ritz and called a decent English locksmith the next day.

We were locked out on a Friday night and they were there in 30 minutes. Nathan was utterly amazing: really nice, hard-working,knowledgeable and helpful. We don't have words to thank him for his work. Truly appreciated 🙏🏻

I needed an emergency locksmith after being locked out. The company arrived and told me the lock was high-security and could not be opened without drilling and replacing it. No price was given before the work started, and I was pressured to decide quickly because the locksmith said he had another job to go to.
Only after the lock was replaced was I shown the invoice for £628.80. This included a high charge for the new lock and a separate charge for lock-picking, even though the picking was unsuccessful. When I questioned the price, he gave explanations that did not make much sense to me, but who am I to doubt a locksmith?
I later found out they are not MLA-registered. Unless you are happy to risk paying far more than necessary, I would strongly recommend only using an MLA-registered locksmith. I am still trying to recover the overcharged amount.

We called for a non-emergency service and they sent someone out within 30 minutes. Ruben came to fix our door and provided a friendly, professional service at an affordable price. He took the time to explain what the issue was and fixed it quickly and efficiently.

A 10/10 experience — we would definitely contact them again. Highly recommended!

I called this company at around 1:00 am after being locked out of our flat (not the building). Over the phone I was quoted £45 for what I described as a simple lockout. There was no mention that the cost could suddenly increase to hundreds of pounds.

We were told the locksmith would arrive in 20 minutes. 10 minutes later, the employee who would unlock the door called to let us know that he would be arriving in 15 minutes. 25 minutes later, we called him and he claimed had been stopped by the police but, he would be there in five minutes. He finally arrived around 2:00 am.

From the moment he arrived, he was rude, dismissive and completely uninterested in helping us. He barely spoke to us, refused to properly explain our options, and immediately claimed the lock would need to be drilled, which would destroy it requiring us to purchase a new one.

This was not acceptable because we were moving out and had to return the keys at 9:00 am that morning. He quoted us £185 + VAT to drill the lock or £150 for another attempt, on top of the £45 call-out fee, and demanded payment upfront before doing anything. Worst of all, we were not assured success and his predisposition did not suggest trust. He was completely unhelpful or empathetic to our situation. I would describe him as childish and immature, repeating that it was “2am,” as if we were bothering him when he’s advertised as a 24hr emergency locksmith.

The most frustrating part is that the door did not require drilling at all. After he left, I was able to reach through the letterbox, push down the inside handle and open the door myself in seconds. The lock simply needed the handle turned from the inside, which he could have done by picking the lock. This confirmed that his proposed drilling solution was completely unnecessary.

Instead of trying to help, he suggested that we should “sleep outside” and then left. It’s important to note that we were 4 young girls in our pijamas, making the comment very dangerous and callous.

I called the company back to complain about the huge difference between the original quote and what we were being asked to pay, as well as the locksmith’s attitude. I was told that we had refused service, which completely ignored the fact that the quoted price had changed dramatically and the proposed work was unnecessary. During the call, the person I spoke to became increasingly rude and eventually told me to “f*** off” before hanging up.

Both the man on the phone and the locksmith that showed up implied that we were annoying them at 2am. This company advertises itself as a 24-hour emergency locksmith with “no surprises.” My experience was the exact opposite: misleading pricing, poor communication, an unprofessional attitude and shockingly bad customer service when I tried to raise a complaint.

I would never recommend this company. If you need an emergency locksmith, especially late at night, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere.

I was locked out of my house late after work. The technician went to the wrong address. He became irate at me over the phone despite it being his error, even after I had sent him a location pin with text underneath bearing my full address and postcode via WhatsApp. As I live alone and it was dark/late, having an aggressive encounter with a man outside my home was frightening. He even drove erratically up to my home as he was angry. He looked at the door for a couple of minutes, then said he would need to drill. I rent the place, so I couldn't authorise that. The man wouldn't leave until I paid £66. I was obviously unhappy with how I'd been treated and didn't want to pay, but I felt coerced to as he was at my house and I had nowhere to go. I called the business number again to complain. They didn't offer a refund. They said the man had had a long day and he would be sent home, and told me there was no need escalate further. Neither the technician or the man at the 'office' gave their names. Will be reporting this to Trading Standards UK.

I phoned and they said they would send someone in half an hour. I waited and 25min in someone phoned to say that locksmith is booked up until 9am the next morning. Waste of time

Ruben arrived within 20 minutes of midnight call out and gave me various options and costs. Super-speedy and friendly service. Would recommend.

Ruben was really great he came here promptly and walked me through all the possible solutions. He offered to help me clean up after the work and was really courteous to make sure my cats weren't affected by the work.

Horrified at the price (£624!!!) I was quoted to get a key out of a lock - which subsequently apparently needed the lock system replaced apparently.

£255 of which was labour (for maximum 30 mins!)

This seems completely unreasonable and unfair, locksmiths taking advantage of vulnerable situations - it’s wrong.

This company is a SCAM. Initially quoted £250 for a change of lock. When they arrived they charged £1200. When going to a different company they charged £180 and said it was a scam. Do NOT use this company!!!!! Experience was terrible do not use.

Avoid this company at all costs.

My friends and I were locked out of our flat late at night and called this locksmith after being quoted a £55 flat-rate emergency call-out fee over the phone.

When the locksmith arrived, he immediately started removing the entire door handle. We have since been informed that this was completely unnecessary for the type of lock we had. Thankfully, before he finished the work, we asked for a price confirmation.

This is when we were shocked to be quoted over £1,100 for the job.

The original £55 call-out fee had somehow become £75, and a long list of additional charges had appeared, including separate fees for removing the lock, opening the door, refitting the lock, VAT, and a late-night surcharge. None of these costs were clearly explained before work began.

Going from a £55 quoted call-out to a bill exceeding £1,100 for gaining entry to a flat is completely unacceptable. It felt like a classic bait-and-switch tactic designed to take advantage of people in a vulnerable situation.

The lack of transparency, the unnecessary work carried out, and the enormous difference between the initial quote and the final price left us feeling pressured and misled.

I would strongly advise anyone considering using this company to get a full written breakdown of costs before allowing any work to start. Based on our experience, I would never use them again and would not recommend them to anyone.

Please do not use this company. They are scammers.

Tried to charge me over £1,100 when I was initially quoted a much smaller amount. They caused damage to the door and ended up leaving me with no secure lock, so I have had to go to another company to get it sorted properly. This is a well known scam that locksmiths do and was recently reported on BBC. Please do not use this company!!

They offered me a £60 goodwill gesture but since withdrew this offer as a result of me leaving this review. Highly alarming that they do not want people to share their experiences.

Absolutely scammers - charged me £1300 on the spot for an emergency callout. Did not agree price beforehand, demanded bank transfer on the spot. Clearly saw I was flustered as I was late for something and took advantage of this.
