Love my red steering lock! With the amount of cars been stolen in my area I have total piece of mind knowing that I have a bright red deterrent staring at any potential thief and as an added bonus I have the fob case as an extra layer of protection! Delivery was longer than expected and as compensation they graciously let me have my order for free! No complaints here …would definitely recommend this company!

A lock that's consistently hard to unlock usually points to something we can fix, whether that's a quick tip to free it up or a replacement unit if the cylinder isn't turning as it should. Either way you shouldn't have to fight with it.

Worst delivery service ever
They say on the website and your order confirmation that your order will take 4-8 business days. I have been waiting now 12 business days, 4 werkend days and i still don't have my order! That's 16 days and I'm in Brisbane.
I can't comment on the product itself because I don't have it!

Joseph, this one's on us and I won't dress it up. You ordered in good faith, the site told you 4-8 business days, and you've sat there for 16 with nothing to show for it. That's not the experience we want anyone to have, least of all someone in Brisbane who just wanted their car protected.
I've chased your order personally and it's now on its final leg, you should have it within the next 1-2 business days. I've also refunded you in full, so the lock comes to you with our apology attached, not your money. When it lands, put it on and see what you think, and if anything else is off, email us and it comes straight to me.

The lockstep is really great
The lockstep is really great. It's easy to use and to store in the car. Will be recommending it to my family and friends. I have the old type steering lock which works well but I was forever knocking my leg on it. The colour I got is lovely and the lock gives me more peace of mind than the previous one. Those old rigid bars do the job but they're forever in the way. Sturdy & Highly Visible
Product is real easy to use & appears very sturdy. Bright colours add a further visual deterrent. Like any of these anti-theft devices, if they really want it, they’ll find a way to get it. This should hopefully slow them down long enough.

That little test you did with the pouch is the best way to prove it to yourself. If the car can't find the key, neither can a relay thief standing outside your door at 2am trying to clone the signal. That's exactly what it's there for. Pair it with the wheel lock and you've got two very different problems for anyone eyeing the car off, which is the whole idea behind bundling them together.

We have two of these and both are great. The only thing I would say is every now and again it gets a bit sticky when trying to unlock which caused a bit of a panic moment thinking I couldn’t get it off. But I think it was more of a user error and getting the technique right more than a faulty product. They are quick to put on and quick to remove.

You've actually diagnosed it spot on. Nine times out of ten the sticky unlock is the mechanism sitting under a bit of tension rather than anything faulty. If you ease that pressure off first, a small nudge of the wheel so the lock isn't being pulled tight, then turn the key, it tends to release clean every time. Once the technique clicks it becomes second nature, but if it ever feels off, flick our team a message and we'll walk you through it properly.
