Very easy to order good online service, delivery was fantastic and quality was great . Only one thing I must say there was no happy birthday on the cake

Mini tall cake …
Presentation could’ve been a little more neat however the sponge was nice. The icing was very grainy and not smooth at all. The icing tasted like sugar crystals, not sure if that was what they were going for or if this was just a mistake it is a shame because the sponge was very nice.

Hello Kelly,
Thank you for taking your time to share this feedback regarding your recent order of one of our Mini Tall cakes.
We're very sorry to hear that you were disappointed with the icing used on this cake.
This cake uses and American style buttercream, which is primarily made from butter and sugar and can certainly taste less smooth compared to a cream cheese or mascarpone icing option.
I will be sure to pass this feedback regarding the buttercream icing on this cake with our bakery and product development teams for further review.
If you would like to discuss your order with us further you can reach us directly at hello@lolascupcakes.com.
Kind regards,
Wesley
Mermaid birthday cake of her dreams
Our daughter loved the cake and said it was “the mermaid birthday cake of her dreams”! It was gorgeous on the outside and delicious. Everyone was talking about it and most importantly my daughter was so happy with it.

Hello Girannaz,
Thank you for taking your time to share this feedback with us.
We are sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your order of our Cookies and Cream cake.
This cake does use a buttercream icing that is much sweeter in taste than the cream cheese or mascarpone icings, so this can certainly be a matter of preference if you prefer a more balanced treat like our Red Velvet or Fresh Berry cake designs.
I will be sure to log your feedback here with the relevant teams.
If you would like to discuss your order directly with our team, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us directly at hello@lolascupcakes.com.
Kind regards,
Wesley

Hello Katherine,
Thank you for sharing your feedback with us regarding your experience with Lola's.
We are sorry to hear that you were disappointed with some of the ingredients used in our cakes and that you had difficulty with our new website platform.
We do take great care to offer only high quality ingredients and are consistently revaluating if there are certain ingredients that our customer's are concerned with that we can move away from, which is part of why we've worked hard to move away from artificial colourings where possible.
I will be sure to log this feedback here with our bakery and product development team and will be sure as well to share your experience with our website team as well for further review by these relevant team members.
We are happy to hear you had a positive experience still with the taste of our cakes and with the service you received at our shop.
If there is anything further that you would like to discuss with our team you can always reach us directly at hello@lolascupcakes.com.
Kind regards,
Wesley

Cool customer
Cake was well packaged and kept cool in the fridge in extremely hot conditions outside. I kept in the fridge until later that evening and was perfect when consumed later that night! Taste is delicious and just the right size for our needs.

Too sweet...
The balance was off: too little cake, too much cream, and both far too sweet.

Hello,
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review.
I am sorry you felt the cake was not balanced in flavour. I can see from your order you ordered the mini tall cake. Due to the layers and height of this particular cake there is more buttercream than usual as it is used to sandwich the sponges together as well as decorate the outside. This will also make the cake taste sweeter than the regular layer cakes we offer.
I will of course pass your feedback on to our product development team for review. If you would like to discuss this further please do not hesitate to contact us via email at hello@lolascupcakes.com.
Kind regards,
Chrissy

The cake ordered from Sweden to UK
The cake ordered from Sweden to UK.
Unfortunately the company delivered to my neighbour, when she handed to me and I opened that was icing shuger which was like ston yellowish cover and the toppings with fermenter strawberry and berry frout which smell very bad . When I have contacted to them ans explained and complained the response was disposed it with very impolite manner and did not want to refund money to sender in Sweden . Never buy cake from online, God knows when those are backed, you just lose your money !

Perfect Birthday Treat – You’d Never Know It’s Gluten-Free!
I ordered the Medium Gluten-Free Red Velvet Cake with a personalised message - and it was absolutely perfect! The cake was moist, rich, and had that classic red velvet flavour, all while being completely gluten-free. The personalisation was beautifully done, and it made my partner's birthday feel even more special. Everyone loved it — you’d never guess it was gluten-free. Highly recommended!

Great gift idea
Each one was perfectly bite-sized, beautifully decorated, and bursting with flavor. The sponge was soft and moist, and the frosting had just the right amount of sweetness without being overpowering, a great little gift for my friend’s birthday
