Daylight robbery! It would have been cheaper to replace the entire door. If you are stupid enough (like me sadly) to use London Locksmith 247 make sure you get an EXACT price. He also damaged the door and one of the existing handles. Do not use this company. How they have got reviews saying they are reasonably priced I have absolutely no idea. Avoid!

STAY Away from this locksmiths. They also operate under a different name" My London locksmiths "When I called initially I was told it would be £60 it's also what it states on
their website. When the technician arrived, he was so rude, arrogant and unprofessional on top of charging me £208 to just break the lock, he didn't even change the lock! He initially quoted me £308 to break/drill in and when I said that was too much, he said I will make it £208 for you instead, (which leads me to believe the prices were not set and he was just charging what ever he liked) He also said if I wanted the lock to be changed I will have to pay another £395 on top of the £208 bringing my total to £603, which is absolute rip off and a joke. As I was rushing to go to the hospital for a life changing surgery I didn't argue with him and paid the £208. I am out today from the hospital and called another locksmiths to fix my door and the guy couldn't believe his ears when I told him, how much I paid for, to just break/ drill this simple lock. I quote what the locksmiths said "he didn't even have to break in he could have used the card to open the door"!
I have been charged £208. This is an absolute disgrace that MYLONDONLOCKSMITHS takes advantage of desperate customers. Let's not forget the extremely rude and NONE existent customer service. I called a few times and no one to talk to that was competent enough or willing to listen to what I have to say. However, as soon I posted a Google negative review, someone reached out to me asking me to remove my negative comment but they haven't address my issue, which is refund my money. I only want to pay what is correct.

I was told £50 plus vat to "open a basic lock" for an elderly neighbour who had locked himself out. It was a Yale. Can't get more basic. When the locksmith arrived, he said he needed £180 to drill it. I argued with the person online who said it would cost £130 plus VAT - he said the locksmith was the person who could determine whether it was a "basic lock" or not, and he was quite unhelpful. Eventually the locksmith determined that I wasn't going to back down and he took the cash (no receipt given) and managed to open it with a card, without drilling anyway. I was left feeling they were trying to get extra cash from me but because I stood my ground the guy gave in. £60 cash is £60, after all. Anyway, I'm pleased the guy sorted out the problem, but it wasn't a pleasant experience.

Many thanks to LondonLocksmith247. I thought it wouldn't be that easy. The master came to the call within 30 minutes. The door opened after a couple of minutes. I advise you to everyone, Mr. Smith!

I never thought that I would have to use the services of a company to hide locks, but I had to. The key broke right in the lock. I found a slseary on the Internet and called. Mr. Smith works fast and well. Many thanks. Recommend!
