Friendly staff and welcoming and calm environment

Wonderful and caring staff nurses and surgeons.

A stayed overnight following surgery. Reception staff weren’t particularly helpful or friendly. I waited an extended amount of time to be taken through despite arriving on time for the pre-arranged arrival time. The pre and post-care staff were helpful and kind and I couldn’t fault the theatre staff either. My room and ensuite were tiny, like a cupboard… I didn’t even have a full size single bed due to the room being so small. The hospital bed had a fixed control panel to change the seating position - this was useless to me as I was unable to move my arms much or twist after surgery (the nurse told me my bed was the only one on the ward with a fixed panel and that it should have been given to someone who was able to move their arms) hence, every-time I needed to move, change position, or get out/in bed I had to call for assistance. I was given a full day’s menu yet when I requested food I was given soup - it was only when I complained to the nurse that I was hungry that I was told I should have been offered a full meal and not just a starter. Lastly, the staff were very attentive and helpful but I wasn’t offered any throat lozenges (despite stating I had a sore throat for the duration of the post-surgical stay) UNTIL I was walking out and was given one single strepsil, from the many packets in storage, for the 2 hour journey home. Overall generally good, but could’ve been much better.

super happy with the service from wellbeck, they took great care of me, even when i vomited all over them… special thanks to mary and (forgive me i forget the other ladies name) honestly mega happy, i felt very looked after and catered too xx

Thank you all for making me so comfortable and cared for during my stay with you, my admissions nurse was amazing and really calmed my nerves before an elective procedure . All the nurses were so caring and anticipated my needs . Thank you to the resident doctor , George , who checked me before I left and also thank you to the caterers who gave me a perfect breakfast before I headed home .

Everyone I saw & spoke to were very kind & at every stage explained in detail regarding the procedure I was undertaking. The care I received before & after the operation was exceptional. Nurse Brenda who looked after me was extremely professional & was also very gentle & kind. I am delighted with the results of my procedure & felt confident that the operation went well. I was also given lots of advice for my after care.

My overnight experience at the hospital was very positive. From the moment I arrived to the moment I left I felt like I was in good hands. The staff were lovely and put me at ease pre and post-operation, that was especially appreciated given I didn’t have a chaperone.

All the nurses were very friendly and made my stay very comfortable.

I had the most amazing experience, from the moment I walked in to the moment I walked out I was cared for with such compassion. All the nurses were amazing, they tucked me in bed, they poured my tea, I cannot fault them. It was like being looked after by family. My anesthetist and surgeon explained everything in detail, I knew exactly what to expect. I would definitely stay here again.

I have just been discharged this morning and I can only say I was look after amazingly. The staff were so attentive especially the young lad ( annoyingly didn't his name). I felt so comfortable from start to finish..thank you to the staff xxx

Super happy with the London Welbec Hospital. I stayed there recently following breast augmentation. The staff were caring, friendly, professional and very attentive.

Since entering the hospital until I was discharged, the main nurse who was looking after me, Takesure, was really sweet, provided me with a lot of information and after my operation ensured that I am ok throughout the time until I was completely fine.

I stayed at the wellbeck hospital for one night after tummy tuck liposuction.. the nurses are wonderful and really helped me, the night nurse was especially helpful, breakfast was yummy and I had a all round nice stay here would definitely recommend,
