Initiative to help garment workers impacted by Covid. Lost Stock allows shoppers to buy a mystery box of clothes cancelled by leading brands and retailers. For every box bought a garment worker and her family for a week through the Bangladeshi NGO, Sajida Foundation. This initiative was set up in May 2020 in response to $2bn of clothes being cancelled by leading brands with no payments being made to factories. In 7 months 125,000 boxes were sold, surpassing the initial target of 10,000. To do this a new global supply chain was built during a pandemic from scratch.

I bought a box early on in the LostStock journey... So excited when it arrived - I was wearing one of my shirts yesterday, it's become a firm favourite. They seem to have done a lot of work on transparency re. How some of the money they charge makes its way to charity.

Contented Customers
We had a good experience with Lost Stock.
We understood we would have to wait a couple of months for the parcel.
I ordered in December and the stock arrived yesterday.
We were sent 3 lovely cotton jumpers. The quality is good and, as hoped, they fitted my husband perfectly.
We were grateful for the explanatory email telling us about the Lost Stock procedures. This has evidently not been an easy project to manage. The email covers the problems encountered by the company with the project.
We sadly note the various bad reviews. This is a shame as the organisation has obviously been through a difficult learning curve and has now become more efficient and organised.
We sincerely hope our participation has helped some people struggling in this pandemic.
We are certainly contented customers.

Fantastic initiative!
I placed an order with Lost Stock on the 13/01, I ordered the spring/summer 3 item option. I received my package today and it contained 4 items, all of which I was very happy with!!
This was my second order, my first being a children’s package. I was so impressed with the quality and value of the items received, I just had to treat myself too 😉

Wonderful, fun experience involving fashion and charity
I ordered an Autumn box that did take some time to arrive but when it did it caused much excitement to see what had been included. My daughter and I had great fun working out how to wear and style the items. One of them wasn't what we would have picked in the shops, but we knew that was a risk when we ordered. The lucky dip nature of the experience was made really clear on the website at the time of ordering.
What a great idea to support the garment workers and save those clothes from landfill. I get a warm fuzzy glow everytime I see those items. Well done Lost Stock - you have done a wonderful thing in terrible times.

Excellent idea
Excellent idea. I was glad to be involved. Had a box for a lady and a box for a child.
Waited a long time for it to arrive but that was not a problem. Clothes on both boxes very nice. Not my style but family members will love them when the weather gets warmer. Thank you xx

Loved the concept wasn't disappointed
I loved the whole concept and wasn't disappointed when I got my clothes.
Speedy delivery too - I was expecting to wait a couple months but the package arrived in about 2 weeks.
I got a autumn collection with 2 jumpers and a shirt.
No one would describe me as highly fashionable so maybe I wasn't too picky but I did compare the quality of the jumpers to some I'd gotten from Asda recently (£15) and the ones from.losy stock were definitely a higher quality and thread count to those.

I know you have had a lot of people giving you hassle over delivery times etc, but I am a very satisfied customer 💕 To be honest, I felt it was a great thing to contribute towards and the box / bag was a bonus. Brilliant Project
I ordered 2 boxes, the 2nd one just arrived after a very short time. I am delighted with the clothes that I received. Naturally, they are not necessarily what I have chosen for myself... It would take someone psychic to do that, but they are great clothes and helped me to think out of the box 😉about what I wear and question my idea of "fashion" But most importantly, the idea was developed to help people in need, and it surely has fulfilled that... To provide an income for workers and save perfectly good items from landfill was a great idea. There were frustrations for some buyers along the way, but the company always answered questions, tried to help and resolve issues. Bravo. You did a great job! Thank you so much.

I supported Loststock because it is a worthy cause in extremely challenging times - if you are ordering you need to consider that this is not like ordering from a conventional fashion website. What they achieved over the past few months was incredible with BREXIT, a pandemic and major logistical challenges. I was happy with the clothes when they arrived and although one top was not really my style I was able to pass it on to a family member.

What a fantastic idea. I commend the people behind Lost Stock for putting together this operation during a global pandemic to help those accurately affected by business closing. I got 3 items, and was happy with the selection made, especially a white cotton pin tuck top and the giraffe dress.

Today the door bell rang and the…
Today the door bell rang and the postman had four parcels for us. These were for a Loststock order I ordered on their last day. It was a two for one offer which I had forgotten about. One order for myself and one for my wife. Delighted with the goods we got. A dress for my wife along with blouses, t shirts and another top. I got eight fantastic T-shirt’s. This helps out garment workers in Bangladesh who were facing starvation because of UK stores cancelling their orders. If you know the history of Bangladesh you will know that in the past they have faced atrocities, starvation and life threatening floods. Our thirty odd quid each which after all is the cost of a meal out which we cannot have just now will save some families from starvation. So pleased to have helped in this way. Great idea from Loststock. 10/10.

I have had a great experience with lost stock. I first purchased a summer box and then more recently an autumn- admittedly there was a wait for the first box but once it arrived I was happy with the 4 items I received- all good quality and not items I would necessarily pick too. My second box arrived with a lovely dress and two jumpers- both great quality. Again things I wouldn't buy for myself, but all I really like and they have pushed me out of my comfort zone. Gutted that they aren't doing any more as I would definitely have purchased again!

Reading the reviews I’m not sure what some of these virgins were expecting? Alexander McQueen hoodies? Replay jeans? Loui Vutton trackies, get a grip. It’s embarrassing, it was £35, I’d have no qualms in doing exactly the same again

Great quality clothes and real practical help for textile workers
I have now ordered two LostStock deliveries - one in the summer and one for winter. The quality of the products are excellent and in the summer I kept two items and gave one to my niece as it was a bit young for me. I am keeping all three of the winter one: a long-sleeved top, a jumper and a cardigan. The delivery time was long for the first one but I knew that so that was ok. The winter one was quicker. I really recommend this company: great clothes and great charitable work.
