Tried many-many on. Eventually bough a pair, 2,000, two sizes up. They promised to stretch one boot for me, but did not do a good job. Boots are crude and uncomfortable.

Six months ago I bought a pair of Raymond work boots in brown leather. I was told by Lucchese staff to buy a size larger which turned out to be correct. Unfortunately the leather uppers absorb water like a sponge. A walk across wet grass will quickly get you a pair of wet sox. Don't even consider washing your truck in these. They won't be dry until the next day. I've worn Lucchese boots for 40+ years and never had this happen. These boots are made in Mexico and maybe that has something to do with the leather quality. I guess I'll just wear these to church.

I wish I could give zero stars. About 18 months ago I went to get custom fitted for a new pair of boots that cost about $2,000. They were supposed to be here in 4 to 6 weeks. Six months later they showed up but had been completely wrong sized (2 sizes off). They said sorry and sent them back. Four months later they came back, but still were too long and now too narrow. They got sent back. They lost them. For another four months.

Then they sent them to the wrong store and lost them another month or so.

When they showed up again they told me they used the wrong size again and would have to be redone again. (This isn't a slight mistake, they're a size and a half off). Evidently the order was misentered. At this point I asked for my money back and they refused.

I will never do business with them again, and I would advise anyone thinking of getting a pair of custom boots to go anywhere else. They're the worst boot company I've ever dealt with and now I have to go deal with court just to get my money back. And I still don't have boots.

What a horrible experience. Bought a pair of boots for my husband for Xmas. He tried them on, realized they were too big and put them right back in the box. Sent back within the return policy window. About a month later, got a DIFFERENT pair of clearly worn boots back in the mail with a note that said they couldn’t accept worn items. These are NOT the boots we sent back. Raised it through management who refuse to make it right. Absolutely criminal, unethical behavior. Honestly the worst luxury brand experience I’ve ever had.

I have worn boots for 40 years but never had a pair of Lucchese... A year ago I bought a pair of black Lucchese Caiman Hornback Tail boots. They were expensive at $800 but absolutely beautiful boots. Extremely comfortable. Unfortunately, the sole of the shoe was obviously very thin. I wear them maybe 3 times a month and the soles are worn through already. The soles are obviously very thin. You would think for the kind of money I paid they would last more than a year with limited use. Very disappointing. I would not recommend their high-end boots.

Horrendous customer Service. I ordered a pair of custom made boots bespoke design to me in March 2021 … I was told they would be delivered in March (btw I live in Ireland). The money was taken from my card I never received any information about an estimated dispatch date. In June I had to call to get an update and was told they wouldn’t be ready until 1st week in September by end of October still no information so I called again to be told they would be dispatched the following week .. it is now into December and no info on boots. While I know delays can happen any other company would keep their customers up to date on delays. I really wish now I had never ordered from them .

Worst customer experience I’ve had in a long time. In store and online are both lacking in consideration for what an experience should be from a company that charges as much as Lucchese does as it purports to be a company of quality. Seven pair and never again after this last experience.

I have a pair of boots that ripped out with minimal wear after a little over a year. Customer service was terrible. Wanted to change me $200 to fix the issue. Was given the name and number of Ricardo Barcenas. Called him and explained the situation and he said he would get back to me. No call back just an email saying they would not stand behind their prodcuct.

I have owned four pair of Lucchese boots over the past 20 years. Besides being fantastic fitting and wearing boots, the customer service is excellent. As far as refurbishing goes, the boots come back looking new and the communication with Juan Martinez in Customer Service is outstanding. Every encounter that I have had with Lucchese has been a great customer experience. I need a new pair and can't wait to pick.

Bought a custom pair of Roper boots for about $1000.00 in June of 2019. Still do not have a boot in my position I can wear. returned twice for fit after being measured at the retailer. Not even close to my foot measurements! The poor retailer has had to deal with me and them! never again. And no remorse on Lucchese's part what so ever! Just a bad customer service experience from a company that could care less about one customer.

I had a boot with some faulty stitching that came apart after being worn less than 20 times. That happens. What should not happen he is the never-ending runaround I got from the service department at the "factory".

Couldn't be more impressed by these boots! Comfortable and definitely Bad Ass!! Probably gonna get laid if I wear these.

I was scammed just like the 8-10 review.
Forget about the scam. I think too many of Lucchese boot owners are too embarrassed to admit to a mistake.
Boots that I custom ordered were about as custom as A TV dinner left out on the kitchen counter for about a week. The quality of the 450.00 pair was riddled with flaws. Stitching off pattern, strings of stitch left on boot, pathetic fit.
I paid up front. Waited 3.5 months for boots. Returned after I realized the inferiority of my order. Took another 3 months to get my money refunded.
There are a lot of other boot makers who craft a beautiful boot at a fraction of the cost. This company should not be in business!

I own 6 pairs of Lucchese boots back to 1989. The last pair I bought the end of last year. I just started to wear them and looking closely the leather looks to be laminated on the toes. The quality of the leather isn’t near the quality of the ones I bought in 1989. I’m embarrassed to tell anyone that I bought them from Lucchese. The quality is just not up to standard

Got my first pair of boots from Lucchese yesterday . It was a wonderful shopping experience complete with sipping Whiskey . Highly recommend them . I wore my boots out and they were as comfortable as slippers . Bailey Russell gave me great service . Salute . BK

Well engineered website. I really liked how the filter worked. It's one of the best of any boot seller's website I've seen. Plus there are boots here that aren't available on other sites that sell Lucchese boots. I chatted with a Lucchese employee while shopping for some boots because I had a question that the photos didn't answer. The employee was very knowledgeable about that boot, Lucchese boots in general, and other products. I came at her with one question and left learning three or four other things. I ended up ordering the boots I was looking at. They are my second pair of Luccheses. Haven't gotten them yet, but my first pair are very good looking and comfortable right out of the box. I expect these will be the same.
