Very powerful companion for writing
I started using Ludwig when it was just for searching usage of phrases in reliable contexts, but the new AI features are really standing out. It has become a true companion for writing. You can ask to clarify examples, synonyms, paraphrasing, and more. I'ts an excellent tool.

Absolutely invaluable tool for editors
Simply THE BEST AI for writers/copywriters/editors and everyone who works with texts and language in general!
I've been using it every day for over a year now, and I honestly can't imagine how I lived without this tool before.
The Search feature is my absolute favourite. (BTW, it has zero competitors that I know of. Irreplaceable!)
Other functions, like AI Rewrite and Grammar Check, are amazing and pretty useful too.
Ludwig.guru is always open on my laptop, whatever I'm working on.
Highly recommend!!!

Great tool for foreigners to get their message across confidently
Ludwig.guru provides many different approaches to express the same idea for me to pick the one most suited to the audience I am communicating with. It also shows how a word is used in different sentences, which I have used when translating from my language into English. It's a very user-friendly tool, and better than any other AI tool out there when it comes to quick access, accuracy, and simplicity.

Great tool for teachers of English as a…
Great tool for teachers of English as a foreign language. It clears my doubts when correcting and editing my students' written performances. Not being a native myself, I got hooked on Ludwig a few years back, just for the search function of unfamiliar compounds and phrases. I learn a lot using Ludwig and love the latest additions to Ludwig's functions (esp. rephrasing and grammar check). I also appreciate the fact that Ludwig is a European business - I can trust that my data is safe and secure.

Very Very Poor Communication
I have been using Ludwig for the past one and half years, and found it useful to edit/tweak my writing. The problem, however, is they are not accessible in case there is a problem. They contact you at the time of subscription(or renewal of it), and then disappear. For a short or long text written by me, Ludwig would give me five or more variants, but now it is giving only one, and I am asking them why? No response at all---absolutely regrettable.

Regarding the number of variants: we temporarily reduced them based on feedback from some users who preferred faster results over multiple options. However, we've listened to feedback like yours and we've now restored the original number of variants (and we're even faster at generating them than before).

Calling us "scammers" is a defamatory accusation and completely unfounded.
Ludwig has been operating for 11 years, providing a transparent service to million of users worldwide. Regarding subscription cancellation: renewals can be canceled at any time directly from your account, just like any other online service. We've also sent emails with clear instructions, and the menu is prominently displayed on the main page.
If you experienced difficulties, we apologize, but the process is accessible and well-documented.
Regarding support: as a small European team, we may sometimes be slower to respond, but we are always available and we reply to all requests.
We understand your frustration, but we cannot accept accusations of fraud after over a decade of honest service. If you'd like assistance resolving your situation, we're available to support you.

Charging me for no service as I don't have access.
I was a teacher, and when Iceased to be a teacher I informed this bunch of con-men that I was retiring. They are STILL charging me!
There is no way of contacting them to get a refund and I have not had access to the email address I used for over a year. Just don't sign up.

We'd like to help resolve this, but we have a significant problem.
We've searched our system thoroughly and cannot find any record of you contacting us about cancelling your subscription or informing us of your retirement.
To cancel a Ludwig subscription, users must do so from their account settings. Simply informing us doesn't automatically stop billing: the system requires active cancellation by the account holder.
To help you now, we need:
1. The email address you used for your Ludwig subscription
2. Any payment receipts showing Ludwig charges
Once we have this information, we can locate your account and cancel the subscription immediately.

Ludwig.guru is very helpful in my academic work, whenever I compose an article, or write professional emails. It does not impose a "single best solution", but rather suggests a number of alternatives, thus helping me to find myself how to say what I really want to say. Usually it takes several steps---what is precious is a subtle classification of the proposals: what is common, usable, correct, awkward etc. Examples produced by the system, and cited from mainstream newspapers or scientific journals are also useful. I have been surprised that the system quite accurately adjusts to specific domains like mathematical logic, algorithms, or game theory, so I guess it applies to other domains as well. Ludwig.guru is constantly evolving, and I have not even explored all its facilities (as translation to other languages).

I've been using Ludwig for 4 years and it's become essential for Academic English writing.
Started with the core phrase search feature to find expressions in original contexts, which was already incredibly helpful. Now I use all the AI features too and I'm impressed with how the platform has evolved.
The Premium subscription is worth it - unlimited writing and generic search capabilities make it perfect for any writing task. The combination of contextual research and AI tools gives me everything I need.
