Low-level app with no customer service. Grammarly is much better. I tried to email them with no response. I wouldn't recommend it.

Very useful app, I have been using it during my PhD, and it really helped me in the writing process. In the last year, I have noticed a significant improvement in the product. I think it is one of the few that is using AI responsibly because it provides references to real sources for double-checking the results. Highly recommended!

Ludwig assists me in writing the documents I work on every day. I find the search function very useful with the reference to safe sources and the possibility of storing my documents. It allows me to be confident in grammatical corrections and when I need to reformulate a sentence the paraphraser helps me a lot. Two months ago I contacted customer service who showed me how to resolve a problem quickly. Money well spent!

I love the desktop app, it’s always running on my Mac. The integration of the AI feedback enhances the power of the writing platform. Ludwig is the best English buddy, it answers my 100 queries per day and stays cool.

Ludwig charges you a subscription fee eventhough you cancelled the subscription. totally fraud, never try!!!

Listen to the previous reviews! I wasn’t smart enough to come here first and check the reviews but I should’ve. I thought ludwig.guru is a trusted website because it very often comes up in my Google searches. DO NOT TRUST!

I subscribed to the 15-day trial, got an email congratulating me for getting it, but now when I go to my profile, it says ”Free Limited” and ”Go Premium!” Whenever I try to use any premium features I get an error message. The funny thing is though, when I access the website on my phone it says ”14.99 € monthly, status: trialing”, but I still can’t use any of their features.

The email I got after subscribing said ”Do you have questions? Just reply to this email, we’ll be always happy to help.” Well guess what. When I reply to it, my email notifies me the email address is incorrect. I found TWO OTHER email addresses (one from their terms & conditions and from their Facebook profile). I emailed to those and we’ll see if I get any response because I want to cancel my subscription.

Another scetchy thing is, there is no unsubscribe button anywhere. And there is no ”contact us” form or email anywhere. It has to be found by the customer on their own. It is CRAZY! All I wanted was to check and correct my thesis paper for my studies.

I do not trust this company at all. And you should not either.

Now I when I am writing this email and was just about to hit send, I noticed below it asks me if I want Trustpilot to contact ludwig.guru about my review and it mentions their email address where it will be send. Well, this email address again is a DIFFERENT ONE!!! So there is now 4 different email addresses for ludwig.guru but who knows if any of those even work. Great.

Edit: I tried sending an email to that email found on Trustpilot, and my email again notified me it’s an incorrect email. Listen Trustpilot, the email you have, doesn’t work!

The 15-day trial is a scam: ludwig.guru immediately charges you the subscription fee. Even by cancelling the subscription within 15 days, you are not going to have your money back. This is called FRAUD.

My biannual membership automatically renewed without any prior notification, and they do not offer refunds. I had forgotten about my membership for over a year. Moreover, there are no discounts or benefits for continuing members. If I were a new customer, I could obtain this membership at a much lower cost. This approach is not conducive to good business. Feeling trapped, I have no interest in using the service anymore.

I was offered a 15-day trial, but was charged immediately. I reached out to them at least 5 times w/ no reply or even acknowledgement. As someone else reviewed below, support feels like a scam, but it's even more of a scam to be charged on the first day of my trial and give no recourse to correct the problem. I have had to initiate a dispute with my credit card company. Buyer beware.

The tool itself is good. But their customer service is absolutely awful. I paid for a year of premium and it wasn't activated for my account!

They have FAQ section where they admit the existence this problem and ask to write to the support if it happens.

Well I've been writing to the support for about a month now and got no reply. I have checked my card and the transaction was alright, the money withdrawn and the service not delivered.

They don't even have an option to contact them in a convenient way, you just fill in the form and wait for eternity.

This is very irritating since I really like and need this service for my studies.

I'm a dentist and I use Ludwig to write scientific papers, emails to colleagues and projects.
Ludwig is an awesome tool that helps me find the right words for my ideas. The feature I like the most is Library. I was able to upload some papers in my field and tailored my search results based on my writing needs and interests.

Awesome service for copywriters and all kinds of content creators that have to deal with text daily.
