Complete cheap chinese drop shipped garbage. I feel like a moron buying a light from this scam company. So angry that they take advantage of consumers.

Scam company. They have the taking your money part down, but when it comes to providing the product, this never happens. I received a "your item has shipped" email notification, but they contacted you later saying the item is no longer available and they will provide me a voucher. When I insisted on a full refund they refunded most of my money, but not all. Avoid this fraudulent company.

Ordered 7 lighting fixtures (Order #1316) in July. Two items never shipped, tracking has been stuck on "preparing for shipping" for almost 2 months with no update. The other 5 items arrived but the quality and finish do not match the product photos on the site at all, cheap materials and poor construction for the price paid. On top of that, these fixtures have no Canadian electrical certification (no CSA/cUL/ULC mark), so they're not actually legal to install in Canada despite the site presenting itself as a Canadian company tailored to Canadian customers. Customer service offered a partial refund to keep the defective items instead of a proper resolution. Having to escalate to my credit card provider to get this sorted. Would not order from them again.

Do not buy their products, advertise themselves as a Canadian company buy they ship their lights out of China and they have no Canadian Certifications and cannot be legally installed or used in Canada. They will accept returns but the cost of shipping back to China is massive. Lights are cool.looking but very very cheap quality, I paid 250 for light that isn't even close to the quality of a similar light from IKEA that costs a fraction of that. They didn't seem to.be concerned at all about having the proper certifications and their response was " we don't advertise out lights as having Canadian certifications".

This seller is a scam!

I bought a Elvexa pendant. It is a horribly cheap molded replica of Foscarini Gregg. Three terrible molding seams run horizontally and vertically across the entire shade. The glass shade itself is bumpy. The listed price is CAD 314.95. I was charged 419.95. Later I checked the original Foscarini Gregg of the same size from a Canadian retailer. The promo price is 952.45.

I requested a prepaid shipping label for refund. The seller shamelessly rejected.

Canadian customers, stay away from this scammer!

This is an update from my review in June, I’m finally able to settle this dispute with my bank, Canadian buyers be aware!!!! The website has changed its service terms and legals to be “ Netherland “. At my time of purchase it was still governed by Canadian law. Save your evidence and dispute if you feel scammed like me

I bought it even tho I had doubt so you don’t have to.
I bought the Bauhaus Colored Glass Pendant Lamp - Kitchen Pendant Lighting.
The green I choose was a lot darker in person.
The light bulbs were broken.
Both lamp we installed are tilted. Impossible to make it parallel to the ground. I know another person who had the same problem with the same lamp.
I asked for a refund. They told me I had to pay the shipping to China even tho it’s a canadian business. They also proposed a 20% refund if I didn’t send it back because of the cost of shipping. So, I took the 20% refund, but I feel scammed.

Short version: We liked the look of the fixture online. It was defective and we contacted Lumalite for a return within their 30-day policy, which they confirmed. The company gave generic nonsensical excuses including that we were outside their 30-day timeframe and that their manufacturing would not acknowledge a defect as reasons to keep our money.

More details:

After the product was delivered in Canada on June 13, 2026, our contractor advised the light is defective and further that the glass shade was off-center and therefore incapable of hanging level.

We wrote to Lumalite on July 7, 2025. within their 30-day return policy timeframe advising them of the issue. The response on July 7, 2026 was positive, and they gave further assurances that the return would be possible even if the process extended beyond their 30-day policy.

They asked for documentation of the issue, and we sent the picture from our contractor of the fixture hanging at a defective angle. The response from “Olivia” (we believe she’s not a real person) then changed tune to rely on their 30-day return policy.

This entirely contradicted her earlier assurances, so we replied attaching her own email confirming the notice of defect dated July 7, 2026. The subsequent responses were generic and advised that because we did not contact them within their 30-day timeframe, there was nothing they could do.

They also indicated that Lumalite could not process the return because their factory would not acknowledge the defect. When asked if the manufacturer saw our contractor’s photo, or why Lumalite needed their manufacturer’s blessing at all, Lumalite would not answer.

We spent 239.95 on this fixture. It is junk and we want our money back. Please avoid getting caught in this way.

This place is a total scam!
Like other reviewers who gave 1-star, I found the Nordic lights I ordered were not compliant with the Canadian safety or building code. When I tried to exercise their "easy return" policy, I interacted with an apparent Chatbot, and told I could get a 20% refund, but return them for a full refund at my own expense. When I tried to ship them back, I was told it would cost more than $100 each. This company tried everything they could to get me not to return their product that I can't even use in Canada. I've reported them to the Ontario Ministry of Public and Business Service Delivery and Procurement. I hope they are shutdown.
They sell the same lights on Amazon for half the price!

lamp still looks stylish even when switched off and works well as a small decorative piece, though the overall design feels fairly standard.

Canadian customers be aware! The company's website says that they are proud to serve customers across Canada and yet their products are not certified for use in Canada. The Nordic ceiling lamps I recently purchased from them came with instruction in Chinese only. The company's return policy is poor. Customers are to pay for expensive shipping costs back to China or they can accept a 20% partial refund. Think twice before buying from this company!
