As many other people have mentioned this is a subscription scam! Avoid these like the plague, am trying to get a refund from these atm. Did manage to cancel the 'subscription' but only after quite a few emails. Stay away!!!

They are freaking thieves, a scam. You purchase an app at a price $0.99 receive an email, but the truth is you sign up for a weekly subscription and you will be charged $19.99 each week. You will not receive a receipt, so you will find out you were charged only by looking at your bank statement. There is no way to get a refund or cancel. I am so freaking mad at this.

The worst part is that no one will probably look here first before they purchase these watch faces at a price $0.99 because it is so cheap.

They keep trying to charge me 19.99 daily. I had to call my bank. I traced a phone number to the UAE and there is no answer when I call and believe me when I say I have called.

You will get what’s coming to you for taking what doesn’t belong you.

Shady business practices and scamming behavior. I was led to believe that $1 was all I needed to pay to access their services but then I see this charge for $20 on my card which was never disclosed to me

Luminea uses misleading Instagram ads to funnel users into a fake “free trial,” then quietly charges $34.99 per month without clear consent or warning. There is no transparent pricing, no confirmation screen, no visible subscription settings in the app or through Apple, and absolutely no legitimate way to cancel from within their system.

When I realised what had happened, I immediately contacted their support email – only to receive an automatic bounce-back. No help. No response. Just a black hole. That’s when I knew: this isn’t a subscription service – it’s a predatory trap.

I had to cancel my credit card, dispute the charge with my bank, and report the transaction through Stripe. Nothing about this process was honest, consensual, or compliant with good business practices. This is a textbook example of a dark pattern, designed to exploit rather than serve.

Avoid Luminea at all costs. Don’t let them take your money under the guise of a “trial.” What they’re doing isn’t just shady – it borders on fraudulent.

The company is criminal as I did not sign up for a monthly subscription of 34.99 USD for a totally useless product. A total scam…… Stay away……

Horrible. Nowhere near it was saying about monthly subscription. I read all the fine print and nothing. To cancel, you need to go through hell. I am reporting them to FTC.

This is a fraudulent company. After charging you once, they will try later to take about 10x that amount without your consent.
Lucky, my bank declined the second transaction.
Their response to emails is ludicrous, as they request a reason for cancellation and request you cancel your subscription yourself, but then they don't seem to have a record of your email address so you cannot even log on to the system to process the cancellation.

This is a big scam I had to change my credit card number because they tried to take 34.99 out my account without my concent scam scam scam!

I downloaded this app hoping for a simple watch face solution, but it was broken from the start. No faces would load, even after multiple reinstall attempts. I gave it less than 24 hours before deciding to cancel.

I reached out immediately to explain the issue, but support refused to refund me not because I was outside the refund window (I wasn’t), but because I didn’t use a specific cancellation link buried in an email. Apparently, emailing them directly about technical issues doesn’t count.

They fell back on rigid policies and showed zero interest in resolving my issue. The app didn’t work. I tried everything. I contacted them early. Still, they chose to keep the money and push the blame back on me.

It felt less like a service and more like a trap: poor functionality, scripted responses, and a refund policy designed to protect their wallets, not the customer.

If your product doesn’t work, and you won’t make it right, what am I paying for?

This was a huge disappointment and I won’t be recommending it to anyone.

En el momento de la compra señala que es un solo pago de algo más de 8 dólares por poder poner una capa por encima del applewatch para poner pantallas. Y luego se trata de una suscripción semanal, y al de siete días otros 8 dólares. La cuestión es que pagué por una aplicación que ya no puedo usar. Doblemente engañado.
