Amazing customer service
From my first conversation with Make My House Green, to Solar Panel Installation it has been amazing customer service.
The communication has been excellent. Every stage of the process from choosing the Solar Panel package, through Scaffolding, delivery of the kit to Installation has been great and everyone we have dealt with has been. So lovely, professional and helpful. Everything was organised for us and everything was done to the schedule. Couldn't be happier with the whole process. Thank you so much.

The service is relatively automated but that never prevented me from talking to a real person and everyone I interacted with was helpful and they responded quickly. The install was painless and I'm pleased with the system

Great company - highly recommend to approach for quotes and advise.
Bobbie was a fantastic solar expert. Although I didn’t go with this company in the end as went with a competitor for my own beneficial reason.
He went through in detail the whole process and journey of an installation and was honest and confident in his answers he provided. I had 5 quotes, some cheaper some more expensive and another quote which basically was splitting hairs when choosing who to go with for the installation. All the others apart from one other was pushy and felt like a hard sales push to get me to sign up to the installation.
Bobbie and this company was far from that. I felt it was more akin to an advisory company which allowed me to make my own final decision without any pressure. My top advise would be after your first consultation with Bobbie please do not be put off by any projected cost. It is worth having the second phase call as part of their process as you will find more often than not that the price reduces to an attractive price point following a more detailed survey.
The only reason why I ended up not going with this company was because I had already started the DNO process. Be assured Bobbie and this company will go out of their way to support you and guide you right through the process.
I feel bad as I feel I wasted his time, but it was definitely time well spent for me personally as he gave me so much new knowledge around Solar energy.

A really professional service
A really professional service. Very slick systems and an incredibly responsive and proactive team from sales through to customer support. I want to call out both Fin and Rosie in particular for the quality of their customer focus. No question was too much and I really felt valued and important. Really happy with the speed at which the whole process took from start to finish whilst never feeling pressured. I'm now delighted with the system and enjoying being able to regularly checking up on how many glorious green kW our system is generating!

MCS accredited no hard sell really useful talk through of my options
Bobbie was great. Got straight to the point highlighted the negatives first to manage my expectations.Living in a mid terrace house it was always going to be difficult. He has pointed me in much easier direction of a Battery only solution which I'm thinking about. No pressure no hard sales just a thoroughly straight and MCS accredited talk through on their techniques approved by Richmond Council as well which is my local authority.

Overall we had a great experience through the whole process. There are a lot of moving parts to a solar installation and they did a thorough job in staying on top of all elements. Would highly recommend them.

Great quoting and designing service for the solar system
I had a very good good experience with make my house green solar panels for quoting, very useful that they give an estimate online first and then a design call which was very constructive. Their price was competitive but I have not yet finalise the process so can't comment on installation and post installation leels of service.

Misleading advertising
Advertise 10 panel systems at one low price and when you talk to the designers/solar consultants the price all of sudden increases by £3k. I feel the advertising is very mis-leading!!

I recommend MMHG
I recommend MMHG. My system has been live a few weeks and generating 3x-4x my average needs. I outlined my priorities and worked with them, in general I upped their suggested specs.
I don't have the ideal roof it's an east west pitched roof so I get more than I need in summer and nothing in winter unless it's cloudy to get ambient light, so for me a larger inverter and battery mattered.
The electricians were excellent, highly professional. The site survey "sold" me based on prior experience and thoroughness. The roofer who installed the panels really knew his business.
The only negative was the scaffolder and I've made it clear that's where they need to choose better.
There was a small error not MMHG fault in the delivered items they fixed it in 1 day showing a strong customer focus.

friendly efficient and very competitive
Seb and his team were informative and very knowledgable and didnt try to push us into making any decisions.
Also the price for their solar power sytem was very competitive and their attention to detail with our unusual house layout was fantastic.
Finally, they always answered the phone really quickly - no "Your call is important to us, you are held in a queue and will be answered shortly" nonsense. I always got straight through.

Good start, slow process
Update 4: the installation was very good and the kit works flawlessly, I think the company is good but they really need to have a better booking system.
Update 3: dates finally offered, it's quite unfortunate you need to complain and chase often to get progress. Let's see how installation and set up goes.
Update 2: it just keeps getting worse, got invoiced with due date the same day the invoice was sent, with no delivery date, no scaffolding date and an installation date which ignores my availability. This is just a really poorly set up process, I'm surprised with the amount of positive reviews.
Update: takes ages to get dates booked for scaffolding, delivery and installation, I'm not sure anymore I've done a good decision going for this company..
So far great experience, had my consultation with Fin and everything was clearly explained and the calculations matched expectations. This was the 4th company I contacted for quotation and came back with a very competitive offer which we went for.

Friendly, efficient and affordable solar installer
Great company to work with from start to finish, from initial consultation where they explained all the options and potential benefits, through to the install that was done in a day and a half. The whole process was done and dusted in just a few weeks. We're now almost self-sufficient from our solar power. As someone who was always eco conscious but previously worried about the cost, I'd say don't hold yourself back. Having solar fitted is an absolute no brainer and Make My House Green are the best people to help you on your journey.
