So I am about 2 months in since install and was waiting to review as I wanted to have all things finalised and no hidden gotchas to popup before reviewing.
Bobbie was my "solutions guru" and I have to say after pondering on solar panels for YEARS and always feeling like every company I came across was just another scam, MakeMyHouseGreen really did put my mind at ease. No hard sell, Bobbie isn't even a salesman he just was honest and told me what I could get RE the setup and what it could do. Admittedly I know little to nothing about electrics but I understood most things fine. The install was great, everything explained during the process. We had a few things were missing from the delivery before the install and when noticed they arrived the same day.
Build regs was handled, insurance on my deposit was handled, and my mind was totally at ease that this was genuine and not a scam in disguise.
I had to wait a month or so extra because British gas messed up a smart meter install (typical) this has also meant I need to wait to get access to the buying and selling app setup but hopefully the software is as good as the service so far.
My one critique is that all the electric chat and industry abbreviations honestly do my brain in. When I made my application to my provider for the "Smart Export Guarantee (SEG)" I had to ask ChatGPT how to find all the info they ask for so it would be good if MakeMyHouseGreen could provide in their final pack a bit of a glossary/just a basic this is where you find A,B,C. I did receive help from Kimberley in aftercare though so it wasn't total radio silence.
Overall I would happily recommend the team.

Honest, helpful and professional
MMHG provides a refreshingly honest and expert consultation service as part of their sales process. Leone worked with me to carefully consider the various options for my awkwardly positioned house and concluded that neither a solar or battery only installation yet makes sense with the current state of technology. However I now clearly understand the issues and will be ready to proceed once the price performance improves.

great value for money, would recommend, 16 panels + PW3
Just had 16 panels and a Tesla PW3 installed by MMHG. So pleased with the final outcome. We've been entirely off Grid a whole week since the install, just using the solar panels and battery. MMHG did a great job at the install and were able to cater to our needs whereas other installers just flat out refused, including having the battery on the other side of the house to the gateway, as well as some challenges with our cladding. MMHG were also able to get 16 panels on our roof when most other installers said we would only get a maximum of 14 panels, maybe 12. MMHG may not be the cheapest but I think they are the best value for money. You get what you pay for. When you make a large investment in something that will last 25+ years, you want it done well and to a high standard and that's exactly what MMHG did. Would highly recommend to others.
