BEWARE!!!

They are liars and located in China selling at higher cost with no option to exchange or return or get in touch even though the website appears that you can do all that. Products are pricey and not what they appear.
I bought something to want to return or exchange but it’s been two weeks I am not hearing back from them. It is a pricey product and they are in China which they don’t say.
DON’t BUY DROM THEM!

The pictures on the website are a lie! Everything I have ordered is NOT as it was depicted! There is better quality on Amazon and no bull in trying to return if you aren’t happy. I’m guessing this photo of the store is a photo shop and the real store is a warehouse in a horrible location!
I won’t be fooled again!

I thought I was buying a beautiful embroidered blouse. After at least 3 to 4 weeks, I received a horrible, poorly printed on cheap material, one instead. I could tell even before opening that it resembled in no way what I had ordered.
The return process was ridiculous. I had to submit two sets of pictures and then was offered the option of paying to ship it back or keep the item and receive 20% of my purchase price.
This company is not located in Malibu as they would like you to believe. It is located in Shenzhen, China. The return shipping costs are at minimum $41.
The only positive is that, as soon as I requested, I did receive $9.99 back on my $49.99 order immediately.
I wish I had checked Trust Pilot first, as almost every reviewer has detailed the same story as I have.

Please carefully review the photos below. It is clear that the item I received is not the same as the one that was advertised and ordered. If the product I received is what you are now claiming was sold, then I believe the listing was misleading — which could be considered a case of misrepresentation, if not outright fraud.

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. Read the reviews. Terrible quality, deceptive pictures, huge charge to return anything. STAY AWAY!

The items pictured and described are false. My order showed pictures of a dress with an embroidered, raised appliqué. What I received was a cheap, printed rayon material. The website states that this store is now closed. I want a refund and would appreciate guidance on how to obtain it. A complete waste of money and time.

Total scam. Ripped off my mother in law (I’m leaving this review for her). Crap is from China and doesn’t match web site pics or description. Returns are offered at 20% of purchase price and then you have to ship the crap back to China. There is no 30 day return satisfaction policy. They make you jump through hoops by sending pics of unopened merchandise only to lowball you on the return credit, plus shipping back to China costs more than the crap is worth.

Very deceiving, what is in the pictures is not what you get. For instance, all the clothes that look like they have raised handsome flowers really are just cheap prints that don’t look anything like the picture. When you complained to them about the lacking quality and the deceitful pictures versus the actual items you receive they send this email that they’re so sorry but here’s the upcoming sales. No mentions of refunds or send them back. Total scam.

Show me your return policy. In today's 20th email, I am trying to return the deceptive goods I purchased.

This company has deceptive practices. The photos sho what appears to be an application on their clothing, and when I received five items at leave, none of them resembled more than a printed flower on the fabric. I have photos rom other websites selling these items (it took me over a month to even get them from China), and the images on the website were doctored to make you think you were getting this type of fabric. They put me t ough tons of requests to photo tags, the packages, now I am to take them out of the packages, which I will not do because there is no way through this process they will be able to tell anything, so if I open the package, they will accuse me of anything. I refused because everything is intact. These are fraud and deceptive practices, and of course, in the beginning, they offered me a discount to keep the items. This has been going on for a week and a half, emails backa and forth and same request to open the packages? Why would that be? I must have 20 emails. I sent so many pictures, and they kept asking for more ridiculous things that I am now filing a fraud for advertising and a dispute at the bank.
There are no statements anywhere that require me to jump through hoops of unpackaging the items to prove anything at all, to the extent they've been worn or damaged. Let's start with this store is located in China- no relation to Malibu!! What you see in picture is not what comes in the mail. The pictures of items are beautiful, think you are getting something special, I opened the package of what I ordered, put is back in the package and gave it away, although I am not even sure if a homeless person would what to wear it. So the shirt Clarette™ - Vintage Printed Shirt advertised as Regular price $245.00 Sale price$49.95 with a discount it cost $38.00. for a full refund it will cost $20-$30 for return shipping, leaving me with a refund of $18 - $8. I don't write reviews, but this is the worst online experience I have EVER had. Can I scream FALSE ADVERTISING, LIARS, CHEATS AND THIEVES. Move along, look elsewhere unless you like wasting your money. Oh and their support email address is bogus.

A total scam. It took more than a month to receive the awful stuff that I had ordered, which is now in the garbage.

I am embarrassed that I didn't check reviews before I ordered. This is a SCAM! The fabric is not "linen like". It is a photograph of linen with a photograph of embroidery complete with fake shadows. It feels like nylon, but there are no tags to verify that. I am relieved, however, that I challenged the charge on my credit card! I'll gladly send this POS back to you if you give me your mailing address. (My husband's name is John, I am Rebecca.). Shame on you for being so deceitful!

The quality is cheap, there are no tags on the items and it is IMPOSSIBLE to return the clothes. A total ripoff and waste of money. They say there’s a 30 day return policy but they don’t let you return. They asked for pictures of the clothes I bought and when I try to send them pictures of the clothes the email bounced back saying the address doesn’t exist. So a total shit show.

Wish I would have checked these reviews before I purchased. Spent $65 on a purse that looked absolutely nothing like the picture. It was cheap plastic looking and at best maybe worth $10. Thought I was buying the merchandise from a store in Malibu, California that was going out of business. Will be donating this purse to charity. I should probably just throw it in the garbage, it looks that bad. Buyer beware!

Impossible to return for any reason due to return address in China. Should have read these reviews first! Cheap quality—the pictures they have on product are amazing but product itself ugly! Offered minimal discount if I keep item.
What a racket!

I ordered a dress from Malibu Boutique. When it arrived, it was too tight. I did not want to keep it even though I was offered a 10% discount. I asked for the return address because there was no paperwork included in the delivery package and I returned the dress to China at a fee of $66.00. It took two weeks to get to China and get a notice of d delivery. I did not send the paperwork to Malibu boutique right away. But they refused to give me a refund on the grounds I didn’t return the dress within 2,weeks according to their return policy which was not posted visibly, except on their website. They refused to give me any money back. This was an expensive mistake. Please do yourself a favor, don’t buy from Malibu Boutique. They are not understanding nor timely in their replies.

This is totally a scam. Cheap junk that is nothing like the pictures. Don't waste your money on anything they have

I would give them a negative 5 stars. The dresses are HORRIBLE. They do NOT look like the ones in the pictures. FALSE advertisement. They are made of cheap polyester fabric. I will contact my credit card fraud department to try to cancel the transaction.
