Worst customer service and the items aren't tagged properly only in Avon ct
This store in Avon CT has the worst manager or assistant whoever it is. When I was returning a thing bought 4 days back he could not find it on my reciept and him and one more lady was interrogating me as if I was doing something wrong and bringing a part if the item. Problem is they do not know the items they keep in the store. I left that time there without taking any money. They didn't even have any courtesy to make me comfortable. This is not the first time this has happened at this store with the same manager. Not the cashier but the male manager who manages or may be mismanages things there. Last month I encountered him again and he was so adamant to admit that the item that I wanted to buy was marked incorrectly and I paid double the price I paid for the same thing in Homegood same day. The tag on the item that I bought didn't even belong there ot was for some other brand. I would give this store a minus 5 rating for this store. Most of the cashiers also do not look happy a several times under these managers.
This product is available on atleast 10-15 stores and both managers were hell bent on shaming me and prove that I was bringing a part of another product to get money. I left the item there. They can make fortunes from It !

Don't throw away those store tags
I recently purchased a set of 3 Delta Burke sports bras from my local Marshalls. I removed the tags and washed them, only to find that they had shrunk at least 3 sizes - I did not even try to put them on because they were so small after being washed. I returned them to the store and asked for a refund but was told that because I had removed the tags they could not accept them back because they could not resell them. I told them that they would not be able to resell them even with the tags because the size on the tags did not in any way reflect the true size of the product. They refused to offer me a refund or even a store credit so I now own 3 bras that I can't wear. What terrible customer service.

I like that it is size XL and how it wraps around you. I enjoy the plushness of the pad. Definitly a bonus with the option of moist heat! I love the LED controls with 6 heat settings. Glad that there is a 2 hour and stay on option. Definitly worth the money and would purchase again. Me and my cat absolutely enjoy this product!

shipment takes 3 weeks which leave customers only about 7 days return window
I like shopping the physical stores. But the online shipping experience is terrible. I placed an online order on 9/27. 10/19 3:52pm, Marshalls emailed me about cancellation of my order. Their return policy was to return within 30 days of purchase. I am not sure if any item would arrive before the return window closes. This is not a one time incidence as it happened to my other TJ Mass order as well. They are run by the same owner. The TJ maxx order was placed on 9/13/20. They notified me about cancelation of my order as below: "We’re sorry, we were unable to fulfill your order for the item(s) listed below. You won’t be charged for this transaction. If you have any questions, please call us at 1-800-926-6299." When I called, I was being put on hold for a long time. I emailed back and asked if my whole order was canceled, never got a reply form TJMaxx. The order surprisingly arrived on 10/5. But their return policy was to return within 30 days of purchase. With this shipping timeline, you got about a week return window only. I don't understand why they don't give customers 15 days of return window counting form the date you received your order as other venders.

The shipment took a month. The customer agent told me she will sent me an email and keep me updated. I still didn't get them. I don't mind to wait 15 days for my orders because of Covid. But I can't wait 32 days to get here plus that's a gift for someone else. A week later, I call again the agent told me still not updating. I am still waiting for the gift card they promise me. As investor we don't like that.
Returning item fiasco
I love shopping at the physical Marshalls locations, but my first online experience at Marshalls.com was not pleasant. I purchased a few items that needed to be returned. Return policy states that returns can be made FREE in store. When I tried to return some items, I was told I needed to "go to a different store" (that was 5 miles away). When I went to the particular store, they told me that I had to go to another store to do that return, as they don't "sell that department". The store that the 2nd Marshalls directed me to was 10 miles away!!! It's ridiculous. I contacted Marshalls.com customer service and they sent me a return label. But deducted me $10 for the return label!!!!! It's ridiculous. Will not be shopping at Marshalls.com again.
Be warned if you purchase an item that your local Marshalls does not carry in that particular department.

I LOVE “MARSHALL’S” the prices are reasonable and I always go directly to the home goods section or the pet section. I even find myself shopping, while standing in the checkout line🤣🤣🤦🏽♀️. I must admit though, that their Women’s dresses could use a “NEW BUYER” bc they often look like something my Grandmother would wear😖😖. They Nd seating at the checkout point for older or disabled ppl, who might Nd to sit or are waiting for their “FRIEND” to check out! Overall, I love the staff & the merchandise. BTW, our truck usually comes in on Wednesdays...lol or at least it use to.

Seems a lot of people rave about this store, but I see very little to like about it and I don't find their prices reasonable on a lot of items. They have a lot of what looks like imported home decor and it boggles my mind that a lot of people don't even know what it is or what it's used for, including employees. Store is always messy and in disarray. Little variety in sizes. Not for me.
