Masters Of Mystery Reviews

Great murder mystery game .there was 18 of us and it went very smoothly and everyone had a great time. The game was easy to download especially for myself who isn’t tech savvy. Extra’s to also use like maps etc . Would highly recommend and definitely purchase another game . Thank you 😊🥰

It was amazing! I got the wizard mystery for my family and everyone loved it. The vidoes and materials they provide were great. Whether you have a large dinner party or a smaller group this would be a great time!

These folks know how to build a great murder mystery! My family got together for a reunion and played the Monte Carlo - 007 mystery. We were in stitches over the funny characters all night long. Everyone was super into it, from teenagers to grandparents. The mystery was complex — almost anyone could have been the murdered — and we all had our suspicions. In the end, one of us guessed right. And the best part is, the game doesn’t have to just sit on the shelf. We can play it again with a different outcome! Love these products! Will definitely buy more.

The games are well designed and make for great unique fun!
My only issue is you dont get a physical game box, its all online. Still downloadable and printable creating a good game, and some optional creative moments to make it your own.
Everyone had such a great time and really enjoyed joyed the uniqueness and easy to follow instructions.

The game was fantastic. Quite amazing 15 people playing and they all loved and wondered when.could we do it again.

Online escape game was constantly buggy, then crashed midway through the game.

Tried to contact them through two customer support channels, no reply.

And to add insult to injury, I had to cancel the credit card I used to pay, because two services tried to link to it directly after I pay for the game.

Absolutely horrible experience.

Great experience! Well written and fun to participate for introverted and extroverted people. Love the repeatability

The package made it easy to follow the story line. Everything was set and I didn't have to create any resources.

Easy to set up. Easy to run. We had a large crowd so we purchased the commercial license. Huge hit. Buying more for an event coming up. Can’t wait!! Customer service was quick and professional. Hands down one of the best experiences.

I purchased the 80’s-themed murder mystery game for over $47 for my birthday party and was extremely disappointed.

The game required a huge amount of printing, multiple downloads, and extensive preparation. When we couldn’t figure out key parts of the game, I called customer service and only reached a recording directing me to email them. I sent emails requesting help, clarification, or an exchange for a simpler game, but never received a response.

Our group included highly educated professionals, including lawyers, doctors, nurses, and plant operators. Despite spending four hours playing and my own hours of preparation beforehand, no one could determine the objective of the game or confidently identify the murderer. The complexity itself wasn’t the problem—the complete lack of customer support was.

What should have been a fun birthday celebration turned into a frustrating experience. The company advertises a money-back guarantee, yet I have still not received any response to my requests. Had someone been available to answer questions or provide guidance, this review would likely be much different.

It was a great experience overall. We were able to play together with the host, which was important to us. What was a bit slow is reading the responses everytime you get accused or there are suspicions over you, but otherwise quite good, I would recommend!

These games are super well designed, fun, and the particular Sherlock mystery I got is one where the murderer is chosen at random meaning it can be played multiple times and be new every time. It also meant that as the host, I could still guess and be involved in the mystery which was a blast! Can’t recommend this company and their products enough!

I purchased this as a farewell game for my family that were moving to Texas. Easy purchase, zip drive sent to me with all the necessary attachments which is quite good to move around from laptop to phone. Great ideas with the links to Pinterest for menu ideas, or their own menu.
There were audio and video files to help set the scene.
It is good that the game could be used multiple times. I used scrabble tiles to allocate to people on the night and reveal a letter of the murder. It was easy. I would highly recommend.

Fantastic night of fun and frivolity with our closest friends. Masters of Mystery put together a great pack including costume ideas and food ideas. It was very comprehensive in terms of what was provided and the night ran smoothly. I personally would have liked a bit more dialogue within each round but it was a great success. Thank you

My 14 year old had an awesome birthday being an elf, and so did her friends. Her murder mystery was very much inspired on game of thrones-D&D characters). Be aware that you need someone like my husband (who is a D&D master) to gather all the info and make it a fun adventure. We had kids ages 10 to 17. There was quite a lot of reading, but the kids were super focused and loved it.

It was very easy to use and figure out for me and the kids! It makes it so easy that each character has their only booklet and kind of their own script to direct the kids to what to say. We had the ages from 6-12 playing and everyone had a blast! Getting to see the kids come in different costumes to match their character was also a highlight!

Every year a group of us rent a large house in France
We always play a murder mystery and this will be our sixth
All agree it is the high light of the holiday and extremely great fun ,all the dressing up and costumes.as well as the great suspense of who did it
We all would recommend it
So give it a try

Das Essen war sehr Gut.
Der Speisesaal sehr gemütlich.
Mit einer eigenen Kaffeemaschine auf dem Zimmer.

The Jazz, Ginn, Money and Murder game was great. The game worked well and it was easy to follow instructions (though I had attended a murder mystery one from this company before). The digital copy was easy to navigate and it was easy to print out the booklets.

I did this for staff for a team building evening. There were 20 of us! Originally we were due to have 24 attending, so I bought the extension pack for 30.

I decided to be the hostess, but due to a last minute change I ended up playing a character too! It actually worked ok. It was tough trying to keep everyone on the right track, but I think that was due to having a larger number (some were trying to read from the wrong round 🫣). If you do this for a larger group I would suggest keeping an eye out for mistakes from the characters!

All in all it was a great evening and I liked the suggestions for prizes and the voting sheet. This was new to me. Also choosing a murderer on the night was great to get suspicions going. I made everyone put a letter into a hat at the start when they arrived which totally through them 😆.

The character guides were amazing and easy to follow, while the videos elevated the experience , helping to set the scene for the game. Overall everyone had lots of fun and enjoyed the game and experience.
