Birthday party success
We used this for a 14 yr old birthday party and they Loved it! Aside from a few typos in the script, and the AI voices on the audio being a little off, it was well put together. We all enjoyed it and will use it again.

Master of Mystery is Literally THE BEST
This company is absolutely amazing. They have the best murder mystery games and are so easy to use. I won't use any other brand simply because of how simple this one is to run, while being so much fun to play. The instructions are very straightforward, and the characters are always unique.

Bought the circus themed mystery for…
Bought the circus themed mystery for daughters 12th bday. The kids had a great time dressing up and becoming the characters and got very into the "who's the murderer"
Arrived quickly online, only slight difficulty was printing off and putting altogether, but didn't take too long.
If in future they could do a pre printed version for some to buy that would be a great addition.
Instructions were clear but was much easier having a separate host- but mainly due to age to make it easier.

Murder mystery games are so much fun
We played the pirate murder mystery. We did not have the 8 required players but we made it work. These games are so much fun. We have played the Masquerade Ball which was a lot of fun. But my favorite is the royal one. We are planning the next one for September.

Louise worked diligently to discuss the issues and find a solution!
I was having trouble the using and printing the material. I reached out to the company for support.
When my case case was taken over by Louise, she gave exceptional details regarding the material and how to utilize the digital format.
Louise also continued to work many days to answer multiple questions and assist me!
I have seen many great reviews for this company, and I hope the company continues to grow!
Best wishes for Masters of Mystery to become a "have to have" murder mystery game!!!
Thank you again Louise!

Hi Helen,
Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. We're genuinely sorry to hear that this particular game didn't meet your expectations.
The game you purchased is one of our digital experiences, which can either be played digitally or printed if preferred. Printing isn't required, and many customers find it easier to share the digital files with their group and play directly from their devices.
We're also sorry to hear your comments regarding the printed documents. We really appreciate this feedback and will take it on board as we continue to review and improve our games.
We'd also like to clarify that when you contacted our customer support team, we responded the following day to assist with your enquiry. Whilst we appreciate that the outcome wasn't what you were hoping for, we always aim to respond as quickly as possible and provide support wherever we can.
We've reached out to you again today, and if you'd be happy to discuss your experience further, we'd really welcome the opportunity to speak with you.
Kind regards,
Masters of Mystery
Beware of these games
Beware of these games, they are not solvable. They feel more like poorly written role-playing scenarios.
The French translation makes no sense. It is clearly the result of a very poor AI translation: some character names are translated inconsistently and become unrecognizable, while entire sections are missing.
Customer service will not refund your purchase if you have opened the file.
This feels like a scam designed to take your money. Don't trust the positive reviews. Save your money and stay away.
Edit : After I left this review and a review on their website, I did receive an answer from customer services saying I would receive a reimbursment.
I will edit again once I receive the payment back.

Great evening with this murder mystery
We had a great evening with this game. The instructions were clear and the preparation was easy to complete (you can decide how crazy you want to go with decorations and food), the music playlist was a great touch. The best part is that the host can participate as well.
I would definitely recommend Masters of Mystery if you want to easily organise a murder mystery dinner party!

AMAZING loved it
Amazing box such good fun and the ability to play again and again is fab. Great props I did the 1920’s and they gave good inspo on how to host a great night.
Great customer service too: super helpful as I accidentally ordered the virtual one not physical and they sent me out a physical copy. Just be cautious you don't do the same.

So fun and silly!
Loved it! The murderer was randomly selected, so even our host didn’t know who the murderer was, which added to the fun. The characters were creative and silly. Would definitely play again!

York
York - self guided mystery your
Firstly, this took me to different parts of york which I loved
But, the puzzle just didn't work, and not just due to temporary changes. The final solution wasn't correct (not wanting to provide spoilers) the solution said something wasn't there, which was
Really frustrating
Also just for info, in the parts that work, it was quite a simple but fun puzzle
Update - this is clearly a company that care a lot about their customers. They reached out to me about this offering various solutions and I truly believe my feedback has been taken on board.
It's a simple but fun puzzle, good for family's and for taking you around f different spots in York

OK game, great company
We had a great night regardless, but the particular game that we hadn't wasn't our favourite. The clues and progression through the game didn't give any preference for a particular muderder, so in the end every player had a motive and no player seemed more likely than another to have committed the crime. It just didn't make it that satisfying to solve. In terms of the game package, it was very well organised and labelled to make it easy to sort out and follow. I'd definitely still order another game through Masters of Mystery.
