Service was excellent as boots arrived…
Service was excellent as boots arrived very quickly and were very well made. Extra points because we were scammed, a message from, alleged, Evry stating they had tried to deliver but we were out. They then requested details/information. We contacted Merry People who very quickly confirmed our suspicions. Boots were received through Royal Mail. Top marks Merry People.

This sandals are more than shoes!
This sandals are more than shoes. Recently I managed to kick a door frame causing wearing closed shoes, including my green clogs, impossible. So I purchased the sandals and oh my goodness. I'm 'mindfully' walking everywhere, but thanks to the sandals I'm well on the road of wholeness. In genuine appreciation of Merry People sandals.

I bought a pair of Bobby Boots to use…
I bought a pair of Bobby Boots to use for walking my dogs. After a few weeks I realised my one foot was always getting wet. It gradually got worse till the boots became unwearable. When contacting the customer service I did receive a very polite email assuring me that I would get a replacement pair, as there is one year guarantee on these boots, but I had to show them a number apparently visible on the sole of the boot and on the inside of the boot. My boots had no number anywhere. I did send them again photos of my boots but did not receive any answer from then on.
I think this boots a defenitely not suitable for outdoor persuits or walking anywhere too wet.
The customer service is terrible.

Love my Merry Boots. So comfortable and practical. Can dress them up or down and either way they look pretty special. Easy returns process too if you order the wrong size initially as I did.

Communication is top notch. From the order-related email correspondence, to the replies from the team when I experienced an issue with my new boots, all responses were quick, clear and helpful.
The website is easy to navigate and ordering is easy too. Love the range of products and all the lovely colours, and I also LOVE the fact that they don't have sales. It's so refreshing, and rare!

Excellent service
I bought some boots, but unfortunately they were too wide for my feet and I had to return them. First class returns system, with no quibbles and easy to use.
The method of measuring both feet using their app in which you align both feet alongside a sheet of A4 is excellent and showed my left foot was 0.5 cm longer than my right. In retrospect, I should have measured my feet in the thick socks I would have used with the boots.

Nice boots but not for me
Good looking boots and the return system is easy. Unfortunately the Bobbi boots were too narrow for me (I have C width foot but narrow heel) and the Oberon too big overall (same size as above). I also found that they are really hard to put on - you definitely need a shoe horn to help and even then it's an effort. Disappointed they didn't work for me.

Our styles are built on different lasts, so the fit does vary between these two silhouettes, Bobbi is built on a B width, while Oberon is built on a D width with a more generous fit following customer feedback. It sounds like you may fall somewhere between the two, which can definitely make finding the perfect fit a little tricky.

Amazing product and Amazing customer service! These are two things you don’t always get together but Merry People definitely deliver over and above! I love my boots - not only for the fab colours but because they are so warm and comfortable for my daily dog walks. Unfortunately a fault appeared in one of the boots but the customer service has been second to none and a replacement pair under the 12 month warranty are now heading my way all less than within 24hrs of contacting them and on the weekend! Great company - would highly recommend not only for the boots but the service you receive 🥰

I bought a pair of boots “Andie” last summer (2025) and less than a year later, the outside rubber soles are already worn out!?
They both have two cracked holes. I wear them regularly but for £100 you’d expect them to last longer.
It’s disappointing and I won’t recommend this brand from now on.

Been wearing boots for about a week and…
Been wearing boots for about a week and at first they were okay but after wearing them for some time they are very uncomfortable. I think doesn't help that they don't offer half sizes. I had to downsize because my heel kept slipping out but the size down pinches too much in a few areas. Please come up with half sizes and/or wide sizes.

One thing you could try is removing the inner sole while you wear the boots in, as this can create a little extra room and the natural rubber will soften and mould slightly with wear.
We know it can sometimes be tricky when you fall between sizes, so your feedback around half sizes and wider fits is really helpful. We’ve taken this on board and have recently introduced Oberon, a wider fit silhouette designed in response to customer feedback.

Our boots are designed to keep feet dry and supported for everyday outdoor adventures like walks, gardening and getting out in the elements, though they’re not intended as heavy-duty work boots for tougher outdoor jobs (although we do have many merry customers who love to put them to the test).

Easily stain
Although a comfortable wellie boot, the Neoprene side stained once they come in contact with mud, very difficult to clean, particularly with the lighter coloured boots. Merry People customer service confirms this happens with all types of mud. Disappointing considering they cost £89.00. This happened after my first time of wearing. I won’t purchase again.

We’re sorry to hear about your disappointment with the staining, we completely understand how frustrating that can feel, especially after the first wear.
A couple of cleaning tips that have worked really well for us and other customers:
•The neoprene panels can be spot cleaned with a fabric stain remover, such as a Vanish pre-treater or similar stain remover stick, which tends to lift mud marks nicely.
• You can also apply a fabric protector spray (like Scotchgard) to the neoprene areas to help make them more stain-resistant for future wear.
• For the natural rubber uppers, any scuffs usually come off easily with a magic eraser sponge.
If you’d like any more cleaning tips or tricks, don’t hesitate to reach out, we’ve seen just about everything when it comes to muddy boots and are always happy to help :)
Really heavy and uncomfortable
I bought a pair of Tully boots after admiring my friend’s Bobbi boots. When they arrived I was surprised how heavy they are but they felt ok when I tried them on in the house and I do love the funky look. However when I wore them on a walk they were really uncomfortable - a little tight in the forefoot but slipping at the heel and so heavy and clumpy (think walking in ski boots) that my walking feels very unnatural. After about 20 minutes they gave me an excruciating pain in the ball of one foot and I limped home.
I contacted Merry People to see if it would be possible to swap them for a pair of Bobbi boots but because I had worn them outside this is not within the returns policy.
I was hesitant to spend so much money on a pair of wellies and now I really wish I hadn’t as I’ve wasted £109 on a pair of boots that are unwearable for me.
If you buy them I strongly recommend wearing them inside for much longer than I did to make sure they are comfortable and to avoid a similar experience.

No good in wet weather
I’ve had 2 pairs of wellies from Merry People, both of which have leaked within weeks. Customer service was great the first time, but despite 3 very polite emails to them, I’ve heard nothing back after the second pair started leaking.
If you want to look great at festivals I’m sure these are spot on, but for daily dog walks they’re not fit for purpose.

Finally talked my husband in to getting a pair of Bobbi boots !!! I have 2 pairs of Bobbi boots & 1 pair of Tully +the clogs I absolutely love them all. The arch support I get when wearing them is fabulous. We live in the blue mountains and it’s often damp or dewy from weather so having the boots keeps our feet dry and supported.
So my husband said he wanted the size 44 but after receiving them they were to big so he did the find your perfect fit option (so easy to do I did this as I’m normally a 39 but once I did the perfect fit merry people said I would be a 40) & it came back that he needed the size 39. The return option is so easy take back to the post office no charge you get confirmation emails when they have been delivered back and then when your new pair are on their way !!!
From start to finish dealing with Merry people is fabulous.
So what are you waiting for GO GET YOURSELF SO MERRY PEOPLE BOOTS
