I bought a tent from Debenhams and didn’t realise it wasn’t directly from them until I needed to return it. I was advised via the Debenhams return portal to email MH Star directly. I looked up the company reviews here on Trustpilot and prepared for the worst.
But, they have been amazing. Email communication was prompt. Arranged a collection day and on the day of I was given a two hour time slot and was able to track the driver via their app, item was collected no problem. Same day email from MH Star acknowledging collection and telling me refund had been actioned. Two working days later email from Debenhams market place confirming refund. 5 working days after that my payment card was refunded. They lose one star because there was a £1.99 deduction for the return and I feel the actual refund could have been quicker.

Great communication. Accidentally I cut the seater canvas of an armchair and the company offered me from good will a replacement that was sent in 2 days. Bria and Tony were excellent communicators and helped me to sort out the issue. Thank you

I had a problem (caused by myself)with the canopy of my gazebo. I spoke with a lovely lady called Kinza who dealt with my problem and organised a replacement there and then. I have just received the new one and could not be happier with MH Star. Thanks very much

Service received from M H Star, has been very good, especially Zulqarnain, who found a replacement cover for our garden swing seat, and arranged delivery within a couple of days. All done with no fuss or bother.
Will definitely consider M H Star again.

I'm disapointed at having trouble rolling up the end 10 to 15 feet, the unit just jams

I ordered a grey rattan table and chairs set from this company .The order was to come in two boxes.i only received one box which contained a glass table top,2 sides to table and 2 cushions.box 2 seems to have been lost in transit .i have tried contacting seller for a refund or remaining part of my order.As an incomplete order is no use to me.i am getting the runaround ,and nothing is being resolved.i cant afford to pay £143.73 for an incomplete order.Not my fault box 2 went missing .very unhappy with level of customer service.will never order big items again

Zulkarnain was my customer service advisor,I had a problem with a scooter I had purchased,I had spoken to several customer service operators but the problem felt like it wasnt going anywhere,this gentleman zulkarnain was very helpful and managed to sort a replacement.100% customer service explained everything in detail what the next steps would be.thankyou so much for your time and I appreciate your communication and rectifying the problem.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!! This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. We ordered a gazebo which has damaged parts, they won’t replace them because they are still “functional” and the curtain tie backs would fit at least 10 curtains inside.. they are HUGE so don’t hug the frame legs at all and just hang loose. First time I have ever written a review so hopefully this highlights how bad this company is. Save yourself the hassle and buy elsewhere.
*NOTE, can I just add that I contacted them as they instructed in their reply below and they haven’t even responded. Honestly, avoid!

Product promptly delivered and as described.

I ordered rattan garden furniture. The customer service was absolutely amazing. I noticed the same set for slightly cheaper on another site after I had placed my order. I said to the company....Aosom.....and they refunded me £20 as a good will gesture.
Any correspondence I had with them was dealt with so quickly. The delivery was great too. I was delighted with my furniture. Such great value.....and no need to build! I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again. A VERY happy customer.

I have found this company to be really good, I bought a good quality rabbit run from them at a fair price but decided to return it, as my son had got me one . There were no problems with return or I could keep it with a 20% refund, The customer service team were brilliant, always fast replies and couldn’t be more helpful,
I don’t usually write reviews but honestly this company went above and beyond. Thankyou !
