I ordered meals from mindful chef as I have done for several years, unfortunately this week for the first time ever the delivery did not arrive as planned.
Mindful chef emailed me to inform me of the problem and offered to reschedule, as we were going away this wasn't possible so my account was recredited and I was given free delivery on my next order. I am very satisfied with this outcome and communication

Hi, The recipes are really tasty and good portions. The first two weeks the produce is fresh but this week the produce was not so fresh, I had to throw half the spinach away because it was slimy and well past the best buy date. The broccoli was starting flower. The garlic is growing with green bits on the inside. Initially I was very impressed but quality and freshness of the produce is disappointing. I let it go a few weeks ago, thinking it is a once off but now it is every week. I don't want to cancel the subscription but I do expect the company to adhere to what they say. Thanks Caryn

I've been really impressed with Mindful Chef. The meals are always fresh, tasty, and made with high-quality ingredients. The recipes are easy to follow, which makes cooking stress-free even on busy evenings. I love that the meals are healthy without compromising on flavour, and there's a great variety to choose from each week. Everything arrives well-packaged and fresh, and it's helped me enjoy home cooking much more. Highly recommended for anyone looking for convenient, delicious meals that are simple to prepare.

We've been with Mindful Chef for three years now and it's consistently been a great experience.

I chose it primarily for the quality of the ingredients (especially the meat) and for the focus on unrefined carbs and healthy eating generally. It makes the hard work of sourcing ingredients and finding recipes so much easier. I've also learned how to cook a number of things from scratch, which has helped me avoid ultra-processed foods. I feel the portions are big - for not that many calories.

Customer service has always been helpful whenever I've needed it, and the app is very intuitive and easy to navigate.

I signed up for mindful chef because I was looking specifically for single portion meals. On the website this semed possible, so I ordered my first 3 meals. All arrived well packaged but I was so surprised by the amount of food delivered that I called customer service to check that I had been sent the right portion size. They asked me to check the meal bags which apparently should have given an indication of this, but they didn't. The following day I opened my first bag to discover that I had indeed been sent quantities of all ingredients for TWO people, with the exception of the protein (chicken) - which had been halved. I contacted customer service again and was told that many single people order a 2 person meal, cook half one day and then have a second meal of leftovers. But if you've only got half the chicken - this doesn't work. So half of my first meal ( risotto) went in the bin. The same for the chicken salad the next day which not at all appetising after 24 hours. Even the recipe book I received is clearly labelled "Meals for 2" with instructions on ALL recipes to just halve for 1.

I understand that I was only charged for single meals - and that sometimes it's better to send a whole onion instead of half etc etc. That's not my complaint - although I would point out that items like broccoli and beans came in pre packed 2 person sized bags and could simply have been in smaller bags . My disappointment is that"meals for one" is a major selling point for this brand and it's simply not what they deliver - and the amount of food waste this one transaction has generated is unacceptable. Such a pity.

Simply the best. Amazing rescipies with excellent ingredients which are always additive and often gluten free. The support, delivery and service is also excellent.

Delicious recipes with high quality ingredients delivered to your home. Takes the worry out of catering for vegan, gluten free, calorie conscious guests/family/friends.
Ordering easy and delivery is reliable and less than a trip to the supermarket in a car.
For me, it takes the stress out of decisions and shopping. Recipes are straightforward and quick, as well as varied so it’s a no- brainer if you’re time-challenged. Best of all… no waste!

I have tried other meal delivery services and been disappointed, but decided to have another go with Mindful Chef. I've cancelled after only 2 of my 4 discounted initial boxes.
I threw out coriander and baby leaves because they were limp and slimy. This problem is not confined to Mindfulchef. I don’t understand why meal boxes can't provide vegetables to the same quality as I could buy at a local shop.
In addition the current meal box contains ready cooked rice, quinoa and tomato cooking sauce all in plastic pouches. I would never consider buying such things because they are expensive and bad for the environment.
Yes the meals are tasty but as I have the time to shop and skill to cook from scratch it's not for me.

Since we have been using MC. ( About 2 years) We have only had about 2 meals that we haven’t enjoyed. I really enjoy cooking now. And it looks expensive when you first start but compared to Guernsey prices it’s amazing value. Thank you MC 😁

I cannot thank Mindful Chef enough for their outstanding customer service.

I have been a loyal Mindful Chef customer for over 7 years, and this experience has reminded me exactly why I have continued to choose them all this time.

Unfortunately, I made a mistake and forgot to update my delivery address after moving home. My box was delivered to my previous address and when I went to collect it, the contents had disappeared and only the packaging remained.

I contacted Mindful Chef expecting that there may be little they could do, as the address error was entirely my responsibility. However, their customer care team responded with incredible kindness, understanding and compassion. They took the time to listen, reviewed the information I provided and, despite the circumstances, offered to send a replacement box.

As someone currently on maternity leave and caring for a disabled child with high support needs, this loss had a significant impact on my family. The empathy and support shown by Mindful Chef during what was a very upsetting situation genuinely meant a lot to me.

In a world where great customer service can be hard to find, Mindful Chef went above and beyond. Their willingness to help, even when they were under no obligation to do so, has earned even more of my loyalty and respect.

A special thank you to Justyna and the entire Mindful Chef team for treating me with such kindness and understanding. It is rare to find a company that genuinely cares about its customers in the way that Mindful Chef does.

I have proudly been a customer for over 7 years, and when my circumstances allow, I will continue to use Mindful Chef for many years to come. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking not only for fantastic food, but also for a company that truly values its customers.

Great food boxes - lots of variety. If ever anything goes wrong with delivery or boxes, the customer service is always good. I have used Mindful Chef for years - consistently good.

I've been a customer of Mindful Chef for close to four years and have had very limited need to contact customer service. This weekend my delivery was refused due to road closure and Mindful Chef customer service were responsive, understanding and quickly arranged for a re-delivery of my order.
