Just bought 2 minirig 4's
Soundwice, not an upgrade from the 3's
When playing just around 60-65% volume, i'll get alot of distortion in the base. Now i just ordered and recived the sub 3. And it do not sound good!
I remember the minirig 3's with the sub 3 sounded really nice. With some nice features. And that when using the sub it would overtake the base from the minirig 3's. It do not do that anymore. So i can still hear the distortion from the 4's at the same volume. And when sub in high gain. It gets to much upper base. Sounds out of control. And around 75-80% volume it will lose the base, and the 4's will distord. Wow i miss my 3's with the sub. This just sounds bad. Wish i never spend my money on it.

I bought a speaker 3 1/2 years ago and have been very happy with - great sound quality and excellent battery life. When the case got damaged and i contacted Minirig, they willingly sent a replacement and included a replacement cable as well. Their customer service was super friendly and efficient. Impeccable customer service
I took my minirig 3 to their repairs department as I was in Bristol for the day and was told it could be fixed for a small fee but the part wasn't in stock for another month. Would have been okay with waiting but instead they have decided to send me a minirig 4 free of charge which was posted the same day I was told I'd be receiving one. This company makes an amazing product and then backs it up with the best customer service I've ever received, don't be afraid to buy one.

5 stars isn't enough, I popped into the store with a minirig that had started 'farting' the guys in the workshop dropped what they were doing immediately and fixed the problem there and then, no faff. Also answered all my unnecessary questions. Great guys. Speedy repair (swapped out broken component) I must have been in there 10 minutes tops.
Buy a minirig if you want a great little speaker with a long battery life and good quality audio and probably the best customer service I've ever seen.

Just received my Minirig 4, utterly amazing, superb bass and middle range and a huge improvement on the early ones. The Dampervan is rocking !! For a small speaker from a British Company at a decent price I give them 10/10.

I bought a Minirig 3 because a friend had one and I was amazed at the quality of the sound in a relatively small piece of hardware. I love it and love that the company is UK based. Bought it in May 2020 and it's still beautiful. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

A very poor company. I bought a Minirig 3 bluetooth speaker for around $150-$200 shipped. The first speaker had a defective charging port. I sent it back for a replacement and waited about one month. The company said they couldn’t replicate the problem. I was sent a second speaker that had the same exact issue. The speaker also would not charge. This company has to be well aware of this issue by now by the high volume of complaints they are receiving regarding this issue. I would not recommend this company to anyone. They are selling pure junk. Take your hard earned money elsewhere and don’t waste it with these amateurs. They will take advantage of you.

The customer service at Minirig is superb. I had emailed regarding how to stop dust build up and Eli not only assured me that minirig could clean it if need be but also offered to send a sealed case.

Keeping the minirig in the case over night or when not in use will prevent dust build up which to be honest I just hadn't thought of.

And the sound quality of the minirig is far better than any Bose or other speakers I've ever had.

I've had a Minirig 3 for more than a year now. It's survived 2 festivals and heavy indoor and outdoor usage with no damage.

I've had a couple of issues:

1) There is an issue with certain Bluetooth drivers when connecting two speakers in stereo - however, I quickly fixed this by changing the settings on my phone.
2) Cables can't be found in local stores, you have to order online.

I fixed the Bluetooth issue after 20 minutes of Googling, and instead of getting a new cable I just bought a second speaker.

Sound quality is incredible and I'm in love with the custom designs. Definitely the best portable speaker I've owned and I'll happily recommend these to anyone.

Release a Boomtown sub design and I'll buy one :D

Love these speakers and until recently had no need to contact customer service.

Had an issue with my Minirig3, reached out to CS who were quick to reply, friendly and really helpful.

Went through the well laid out standardised test procedure to check if that resolved the issue.

No bueno, so had to send it in. Shipped on Monday.

It has already been fixed and sent back (Wednesday). Sent via 48 hour delivery too.

Really quick turnaround, not having the rig for a few days was torture, so very glad to get it back soon.

I've had a Minirig 3 for just over a month now and am continuously astonished at how good it sounds. I replaced an aging Beoplay A2 which cost twice as much and initially thought the Minirig was about as good. After spending time with it and recently comparing it with the A2 I can honestly say it's the better of the two. It brings a smile to my face every time I listen to it. Great service from the Minirig team also in dealing with a few queries I had.

I bought the 2.1 set-up, end of Jan 2023, choosing to ignore the reviews describing how tricky they are to set up via Bluetooth but unfortunately that's not the only problem. I guess I thought I’d get lucky. A single Minirig (and if hardwired via AUX to the bass unit) sounds brilliant and I can't fault that but try to pair them up wirelessly and it often gets problematic. If they manage to pair up at all, at random intervals, they’ll emit an ear-piercing screeching sound until you either pause the output or turn them off. A response from an enquiry to Minirig shrugged it off by saying it’s a known issue, it might be my model of phone (which is a pure stock Google Pixel Pro 7 Android) and that the problem is still "under investigation", even though a basic web search shows this issue has been evident for well over a year prior to my purchase
Again, I can’t fault the speakers individually and when they do pair up, they’re superb but the package as a whole is really disappointing. The app is clunky, poorly-written and generally unhelpful and updating the speakers requires a second app (both are up to date to v19). None of this is what I’d expect at this price point. I want to like these things but I can’t recommend these beyond a single speaker.

I first heard one of these speakers when on holiday with some friends and was absolutely astonished at the quality of the sound from such a small device, when you pick it up you know it's a quality product, I got one of my own, then several of my friends have since bought one, you can't help but recommend then when you own one, it is great getting them all together and daisy chaining them together too!
I was absolutely gutted when mine failed to charge, after a few live chats with a very helpful Rachel, I received a replacement cable completely free of charge and was over the moon to have my most treasured speaker back in action shortly after, thank you Rachel.
The level of customer service is very much the same as their products- ABSOLUTE QUALITY!!!!!

I can’t rate these guys highly enough at all! The customer service is incredibly fast, pre paid return for repairs by mini rig and all round incredible service. The products are second to none and I wouldn’t ever go elsewhere to buy.

I've had a Minirig 2 Speaker and Sub for over 4 years.
The products have been excellent in performance and sound quality. I don't normally write reviews however the icing on the cake is the post purchase service.
I had an issue with a power cable failing (well outside of warranty) and not only did they post out a replacement to Australia.. they posted 2 spare cables. Frankly an incredible product and incredible service... I will definitely buy more, well worth the price for what you get.

Excellent product and incredibly powerful. Small issue with one of the carry cases was rectified immediately with replacement, without question. Have tested out at home and at our regular dance venue, power almost as good as our Wharfedales but not quite as rich a sound. Bluetooth a bit unreliable but that's Bluetooth rather than minirigs.
Overall, well pleased. Worth every penny....and they're excellent value for money. British made too, you really should buy these!!

Can't believe something so small can be so loud! Sound quality is fantastic, the app works great and its so portable. Using these for some outdoor DJ sessions and it works perfectly.
