We had an awful time with this dreadful company. My late auntie suffered from depression for many decades and took out a lifetime mortgage which she made several drawdowns on. The spiralling debt from her lifetime mortgage exacerbated her depression in later years. This company should be renamed 'End of Life' as it certainly contributed to my late auntie's demise. We had no idea she had took out this lifetime mortgage until we discovered the documents in her house after her passing. She wasn't properly assessed for the mortgage and all consultations were over the phone. It really should have been a last resort and they did not assess her ability to understand the negative effects of compound interest on her property equity. Due to the severity of her depression, it took us a number of months to clear and prepare the house for sale. All the while, interest is continuing accruing at an alarming rate (£1000 a month) we asked for some compassion and for this to be paused as it was placing immense stress on our family during what was an incredibly difficult period. We went to a solicitor and the Ombudsman as my auntie was a vulnerable widow with a clear history of severe mental health problems and they took advantage of her. My elderly father had calls off this company asking when their money would be paid, it placed incredible stress on us. It is disgusting the amount they charge vulnerable customers, my auntie's illness affected her ability to understand the consequences of this vulture company. If you are considering using this company, please do not as their sole aim is to make as much money as possible and steal your house. We found years’ worth of mortgage statements scattered all over my late auntie's house it was such a traumatic experience and we received no compassion from this company, who just want to steal people's money. Do not believe the 5 star reviews as they will be fake. Use caution and discernment and stay well away from them.
Very happy with my experience with More2life. Diane Perrin and her team are very professional and knowledgeable i was kept informed every step of the way through emails and phone. Would recommend.

What a truly horrendous experience. This company took the stress of moving to a new level. We wanted to move house, and ‘port’ our Lifetime Mortgage with us. Not something they want you to do perhaps.. The Moving Team do not want to talk to you, so they don’t take phone calls, they will reply to emails, but only 2 days later. They do not communicate internally, so their Accounts don’t tell them when you pay fees. They don’t communicate with their Solicitors, but send an email to you asking if you would like to close the file, while you are about to ‘exchange’. As for the future, we certainly won’t move again, but will do everything possible to pay this lot off.

We have done a few drawdowns know and it just gets better. Having to sign docusign is so much better. Not having to wait for the postal service. All went very well and any queries were answered quickly. Money was in our account just as Diane Perrin had confirmed. Many thanks

We wanted to port our lifetime mortgage with MORE TO LIFE and it has been an unremitting nightmare. We have not yet Received permission from MORE TO LIFE to port because they have delayed and procrastinated endlessly causing severe stress to me and my husband. We want to buy a bungalow because of my husbands increased lack of mobility following two years of illness.
MORE TO LIFE surveyed this property on March 31st and referred it to the Underwriters yet by today (May 6th) they have still not given us permission to port. Both our buyer and seller are getting very anxious and we fear they may withdraw. The stress that the delaying by
MORE TO LIFE has caused is now impacting upon my
health.

I applied online for a further amount and it'sbeen very plain sailing, especially as now Docusign is available, because mail deliveries in my area are irregular to say the least.
I signed the agreement yesterday and today Diana Perrin advised me that she's arranged for the funds to be paid out next Wednesday.

Dreadful organisation to deal with. Very poor communication. No one takes responsibility for providing information. We have been trying to pay off redemption but MoretoLife will not release the figure. The property is sold and our solicitors have the funding to pay off the debt. This awful organisation has made my wife ill with worry because of their obstructive manners. We just want to pay off the redemption figure but they keep putting obstacles in the way despite our solicitors writing to them. It seems as though they are trying to steal more money out of the equity release. Be wary of this organisation. Many replies have called them crooks. Our experience has most definitely confirmed that. Do not use under any circumstances. Terrible company.

We have explained that sister has had a massive stroke and is in a nursing home with 24 hour care. She is unable to speak, comprehend or move her right side. We have provided a solicitor, the nursing home details, the doctor etc. The bungalow has been sold and we wish to settle her debts because of outstanding care home fees. MoretoLife seem to be deliberately obstructive and we cannot understand why they do not want the redemption money. All other concerns have received their monies and bills have been settled except the owed care home fees. Cannot understand why MoretoLife do not want the redemption paid. Are they trying to extricate more money?
