They are still harassing me about a 9yr old CCJ which absolutely had to have been paid off when i sold my house 7yrs ago. Just had to be as part of the conveyancing process. Crooks.

Shocking service filled out paperwork on time sent back on time but because paperwork was late from postal service they than transferred it to court and hit me with more charges very underhanded

I have to say that after reading all bad reviews I was petrified. I missed one call from them and did my search. I got another call today and I have to say it was very pleasant experience considering unpleasant circumstances. The person I spoke to was Victoria, she extremely helpful and full of understanding. She was also very nice and polite. Thank you Victoria for all help today.

SENT A LETTER TO MY SON WHICH WAS TIME SENSITIVE STATING TO FILL OUT THE FORM OTHERWISE A CCJ WILL BE IMPOSED WHICH HE DID THEN THE SENT A LETTER BACK STATING THEY NEVER GOT THE FORM BACK WHICH THEY DID AND TRIED TO USE THE DATE SENT RATHER THAN THE DATE IN THE NARRATIVE OF THE LETTER! SHE AGREED IT WAS WRONG BUT THEY CARRIED ON WITH THE CCJ ANYWAYS! THEY DON'T CARE AND SHE SAID THAT IF I WANTED THE JUDGEMENT REMOVED HE HAS TO PAY BY 30TH SEPTEMBER WHEN MCS WAS AT FAULT IN THE FIRST PLACE! ARE YOU GUYS THAT DESPICABLE AND DESPERATE TO RUIN LIVES FOR YOUR OWN GAIN BY GETTING IN BED WITH NORTHAMPTON COURT? THEN HAVE THE AUDACITY NORTHAMPTON COURT BELIEVING MCS AND THREATEN TO TAKE GOODS ON THE BACK OF THEIR INCOMPETENCY? YOU ALL NEED TO WIND YOUR NECK IN AND STAY IN YOUR LANE! THEN YOU TRY TO SHOW SYMPATHY? BUNCH OF UNSYMPATHETIC NASTY PEOPLE ALL OF YOU 😡🤬😤

Applied for a ccj which was time barred never done any back ground checks on the debit which was purchased by Cabot just applied to the court
I won my case and the ccj is being removed from my credit file -l

After reading reviews I was terrified about phoning this company. I really shouldn't of been and if you are in similar situation pick up the phone and ring. They set up a really fair affordable re payment. I felt at ease the whole time they couldn't of been any more helpful. 1 step into getting my debts under control.

Please cease and desist all calls and contact with me, immediately. You are verging on harassment now, all daily calls from you have been logged including the ones before the legal time of 8am... I've have tried to leave this via your website but of course there was an issue submitting it so I'm leaving it on a public forum now.

Only had my paperwork on there desks for 3 Months, And sent for CCJ, Zero Letters to my house, and recieved 2 emails, i dont answer numbers i dont know as i do not want to be scammed,

so now going to have a County court Judgment because of them not being able to get intouch

This company has been harassing me for months. I didn’t want to give my information over the phone so I asked them to send me a letter detailing what their business was with me and it never happened but I get 6-8 phone calls a day, discusting company and Cabot should be ashamed of themselves for forwarding them to harrass you

I phoned this company with a huge amount of trepidation based on previous reviews.
I found myself with a debt I couldn't afford, which I'd tried to ignore, however, I was days away from bailiffs coming to my door so knew I had to discuss the situation.
I really didn't hold out much hope of a solution being reached as previous people have said this company do not care about anything but taking your money by any means necessary.
My call was answered by a young lady whose name I don't think would be pertinent to mention on this site, but I found out she was of Lithuanian descent.
From the offset she put me at ease.
She was understanding and compassionate to my plight. She offered advice that was more in line with that which a counsellor would give, not a debt recovery agent.
She listened to everything I had to say and arranged a fair repayment plan, encouraging me to call her if I ever found myself struggling.
If this person is reading this review I just want to say thank you so much for helping me to face up to what I have to deal with and easing a burden I've been carrying for so long.
You are a credit to your profession and a truly good and decent human being.

This company is laughable, call themselves solicitors more like a bunch of bullying cowboys sent me three letters in less than a week demanding i contact them with threats of balliffs to my door, im actually in touch with Cabot which suprisingly after a little google search and less than 2 minutes these monkeys actually belong to Cabot Debt collectors so they use these idi0ts to send you letters pretending to be solicitors they have about as much power as a dead rat, i will now go email the CEO of my creditor and make payments directly to them via my account if they decide to contact me again i will be filing a complaint to the FCA

I recently had a debt that I needed to settle, and unfortunately, my experience with Mortimer Clarke was less than satisfactory. Despite my intentions to settle the debt, I felt that the firm was not interested in finding a mutually beneficial solution. Instead, they seemed more interested in causing maximum damage to my character and credit rating.

From my first interaction with the firm, I was met with a lack of empathy and understanding. The representative I spoke with was short with me and seemed annoyed by my request to settle the debt. I had expected a more professional and courteous approach, but instead, I was met with a cold and uncaring attitude that made me feel like my situation was not taken seriously.

Even when I offered to pay a portion of the debt immediately and to set up a payment plan for the remainder, the firm showed little interest in finding a solution that would work for both parties. They continued to press me for full payment without offering any flexibility, and I felt like they were not willing to listen to my concerns or work with me to find a mutually agreeable solution.

Furthermore, the firm's tactics to collect the debt were ruthless and unnecessary. They threatened me with legal action, and even went as far as sending me a county court claim form. I felt like their goal was not to help me settle the debt, but rather to scare and coerce me into paying as quickly as possible.

Communications addressed to the firm's principal solicitor Sandra Bayne, who has 18 years experience in law, were read but never responded too.

Overall, my experience with this firm was very disappointing. Their lack of empathy and unwillingness to find a mutually beneficial solution left me with a great deal of stress. I would not recommend working with Mortimer Clarke to anyone who values professionalism and understanding when dealing with sensitive financial matters.
