I was looking to sell my 2017 Harley Davidson Sportster XL883N iron. Motorbike Trader seemed to have good reviews, and contacted them, The customer service for me was, very constructive helpful and honest, they gave me a valuation, after some straightforward questions, I gave it some thought, looked at a few more to see how good they were, all were fairly close valuations, So when I went back to Motorbike Trader had a further discussion with Emma, she spoke to her Manager, and they increased there offer.
A date was arranged for them to come and veiw the bike, and on that day (Could not have been colder, plenty of snow and ice), I have forgotten the assessor's name (sorry about that) a young polite chap who also loved Harleys, His assessment was done with diligence and politeness, he did find a couple of things that I'd missed, the outcome was Motorbike Trader were happy to pay me what I wanted for the bike, Motorbike Trader,Co.uk made payment there and then all done very quickly no fuss at all. My experience with dealing with Motorbike Trader was a very positive, they were polite at all times, and are very knowledgeable, passionate about Motorcycles.
If your looking to sell your sled "bike" give them a call, I will give you some advice, do not at anytime lie about the condition of your beloved motorcycle, be as honest as you can, and you will have nothing to fear at all. All I can say is a great thank-you to all staff at Motorbike Trader and giving me a very good deal

I was looking to sell my motorbike so entered the details out of curiosity and was given a fair price in my opinion within a few minutes. Once I had clicked to arrange a collection I had a call the next day and arranged collection for 2 days later. An employee called Goldie came out at the time arranged. He gave the bike a good inspection, agreed with the bike condition I had given and I was paid within seconds at the price agreed. Although sad to see the bike go my selling experience was very good.

Requested a quote for my BMW C400 GT had a response within a couple of hours with an acceptable price even if a little lower than I would have liked, and was valid for 7 days. Clicked on the email link 48 hours later to complete the transaction and the price offered was lowered by £1250.00 I did not accept the lower quote. I sold to "BUYMYBIKE" who provided an excellent service.

Offered a low price but rather than mess around selling privately i accepted. Given an option of a collection date which they then said they couldn't fulfil. When asked what was the point of giving me that option they couldn't answer me. Tried to encourage me to get a family member to take care of this pick up which is not going to happen. As i explained to them Waste of my time.

I received 3 online valuations for my Harley Davidson, I was a bit disappointed with the values given but I needed to sell so I went with Motorbike Trader who offered £300 higher than the others. Once I booked an appointment, an operator called me to confirm details of my bike, service history, condition etc. I gave them my bank details as requested. Two working days later Brian arrived and carried out his thorough checks on my bike and the V5, service record etc. As soon as he confirmed he was happy with everything he transferred the full value into my account immediately.
My experience with MTB Trader was first class from start to finish. I think sellers should always be as honest as possible about your bike when you put your details in, I was honest and I got exactly what they offered. 👍

Got a (low) quote for my bike, fair enough as they base them on CAP bottom book values so they told me. Anyway, then got a string of several recorded marketing spam calls suggesting I call and arrange collection, so called them and asked them to remove my number from their system which they were not happy about and hung up. Avoid these timewasters, highly unprofessional, don't waste your time.

Avoid at all costs! If they offer to purchase your motorcycle then do yourself a favour and tell them to beat it. Disgrace!

Great service and I would thoroughly recommend it. I sold my 2018 Z1000 SX and had an offer from Motorbiketrader which was over £1000 more than webuyanybike. The guy turned up, did his checks, and gave a green light for the valuation, I had funds in my account within minutes. No, haggle. No Stress. Nice and simple transaction. Very friendly and helpful guy collected. Thumbs up from me!

Bought my bike from them 2 years ago with 400 miles on the clock, rang them to get a quote for them to buy it back with 1300 miles on the clock still in showroom condition bought it from them for £3100 they quoted me £2400 arranged for guy to come and buy it back to them, he came and the only thing was that the service light came on so they would only offer me £2300 when all said and done they would have to service it before they put it back up for sale anyway!. Not happy.

Very quick and professional. The driver (Steve, I believe) turned up in the time they said they would. Pleasant to deal with and gave a full inspection of the bike. Offered nearly the full amount only due to chain and sprocket needing replacing. As previous reviewers said, if you lie about the condition of the bike then you can't expect them to honour their offer. Payment was transferred on the spot and the bike was quickly packed up and removed. Very good experience.

Dealt with Dave and Keiron on phone. Both very friendly and professional. Happy with price offered and bike collected quickly. Price offered was honoured on collection as my description of the bike was 100% correct. If you tell “porkies” it should come as no surprise when the bike is physically examined the offer is reduced accordingly. Tell the truth and you have nothing to fear.

Absolute snakes. Haggle you on the day and an extremely disappointing selling experience.

Contacted Motorbike Trader to sell my Yamaha MT125, spoke to Sam who was really professional and made the process really smooth, gentleman named Mark came out to inspect the bike and collect. He was very courteous and professional and had a good personality. he inspected the bike thoughrouly and was happy. He contacted his office who paid me there on the phone with in 5 to 10 minutes. The whole process was smooth and very professional, I would definitely do business with them again.

Was sent a link From a friend, I Was Skeptical at first but after speaking with Sam on the Phone and getting an evaluation.. Brian came out and carried out an Honest inspection, granted he found a couple of issue's I wasn't aware of but completely Justifiable. Very knowledgeable Bloke. Happy with the overall figure and can honestly say the whole process was a breeze! Would definitely use the Service again

I was interested in selling my second hand motorcycle. I completed an initial online questionnaire, and then a further telephone questionnaire, honestly explaining that the bike was in less than average condition and had a flat battery. I followed this up by sending photos of the whole bike from different angles and close ups of damaged areas. I received a no haggle (from either party) quote, which seemed reasonable having researched the market value of my make and model, and given the condition my bike was in. I was also told the bike needed to start for it to be valid. No problem - I purchased a new battery - discovered the bike still ran fine (and had 5,000 less mileage than previously thought - yay!) only to be told that the bike value had DROPPED by £50 due to changes in market value. At this point, I was still feeling ok with the service so got the bike pickup booked in. A gentleman arrived to collect, gave the bike a check over and informed me that they would be offering £150 less than agreed, £200 less than the original price! When queried why, as I had been assured a ‘no haggle’ price, the response was I had provided no information on the condition of the bike and it was not in the ‘pristine condition’ he had been expecting. He refused to accept that I had completed a telephone questionnaire and provided photos (despite me showing the text messages with photos sent to his colleague and the acknowledging replies I had received) and openly told me the departments didn’t communicate with each other. At this point he rang head office to check the value, which remained at the much lower price than the no haggle original. I thanked him for his time but regrettably we would not continue with the service this company was providing.

I was left feeling that both my time and that of company staff had been wasted, due to a lack of clear internal communication and not being true to a no haggle policy.

- had a compressive call to run through all the details of the bike, couple of photos requested for where there are imperfections and as soon as sent a date and time for collection was booked in.
- received a call the day before collection to check we were still ok to go ahead. Was advised 2 hour slot for collection
- on collection day, the guy who came was fantastic, on time, made it a super easy process, checked over the bike, helped complete V5 for sale, price honoured, no quibbles, money transferred immediately and he insisted on waiting to make sure we checked receipt of funds before he left.
- easiest transaction ever. Every step of the way was a perfect example of great customer service.
- top tip, be honest from the start of the sale let the guys know if anything like spare key is missing or if the bike has any imperfections. They will treat you more than fairly.

I was apprehensive before approaching Motorbike Trader. In the event, I was delighted with the process and the outcome. I received a fair price and I was most impressed with the friendly and professional service.

Great service. Was called yesterday with a price for my bike which was very good. Gave him all the details of the condition of my bike.
They then arranged for it to be checked and picked up the next day. Really nice guy came out, checked it over, bank transfer instantly for the agreed price.
There was no haggling on the price as I described my bike accurately.
All in all a great freindly experience and a good price for my bike.
As long as you tell them accurately the condition of the bike then you will get the full agreed price.
Highly recommend for a quick sale.
