I’d already shopped around looking to sell my CBR125 (CBT ran out and couldn’t get another one......pandemic and all that) and was getting prices between £1500 - £2000, considering I thought I would only get around £1200 these weren’t too bad however these guys offered me £2600 for a 3 year old bike with no MOT and that had been sat for 8 months not doing a lot.
So I said fine, they arranged an appointment for someone to come look at it today, no quibble and I dropped the price down £200 as they would have to do a service and MOT. The money was in my account within 2 minutes via bank transfer.
Pleased with how quick and smooth it all went and Alex, the assessor and the guy who picked the bike up, was really friendly so I’m really please with how it all went and hopefully the bike can now give someone else a lot of fun.

Requested a quote, received confirmation promising “Your FREE valuation received within 24 hours”. Still waiting 2 days later. Luckily a more reputable company quoted, paid AND collected within 8 hours! Moral: shop around.
Update: MotorbikeTrader tried blaming me by saying I didn’t check spam Mail box. No spam, no email. What they didn’t do is provide any indication an email was even sent. As such trust them even less!

Sold my bandit 650 to these guys, I have to say I was very surprised how easy the whole process was, and very happy with the price they offered.
The driver turned up when he said he would, did his checks and confirmed the price. He did knock the original offer down by £100 but I believe this was justifiable.
Everyone I dealt with from the guys on the phone through to the collection driver were all extremely pleasant, and the money was transferred to my account instantly.
Overall I believe if you are honest with them about the condition of your bike they will be honest with you in return.

I was offered £11k for a bike that I was oglffered £14k from we buy any bike, £15k as a trade in direct with Ducati and sold it in the end for £15750 to a trader. The guy on the end of the phone wasn’t prepared to listen or believe he was wrong, I would ensure you do your homework before even thinking about using these, either incompetent or crooks in my opinion, it’s only my opinion but beware, better value elsewhere by far!

Very efficient, no hassle transaction. Collection mechanic was great - kept me informed as to eta and conducted checks efficiently and with no quibbles about the condition and value agreed. Overall a very good experience for selling a bike surplus to requirements.

The man that came to collect did not nit pick the bike looking for the smallest scuff to reduce price with. He was very fair and pleasant to deal with.

I saw their ad on Facebook stating get more than a part ex with Motorbike Trader. SO I PUT IN MY DETAILS ON THEIR SITE BEWARE YOU WILL NOT.
I am currently in the process of buying a new motorbike so looking to get the best price for my current Honda CB1000R, I have a part ex price of £7200 from the dealer, Motorbike Trader offered me £5500, I thought it strange that it was exactly the same ripoff price Superbike Factory offered me, I now know they are the same company. I am all for businesses making a profit, however when they advertise things like get more than a part ex then it should be true, £1700 less than a dealer shows their ad is misleading. My advice is by all means get a quote from them and if you are desperate for cash then ok, however, do like I did visit local dealers and get quotes from them. I find this company to be very underhanded in their advertising, they should like the Cash House buying companies, have to state that you will get less for your bike opting for their buying service. COME ON MOTORBIKE TRADER (SUPERBIKE FACTORY) PUT THE TRUTH IN YOUR ADVERTISEMENT

Motorbike trader were so professional from start to finish. From the initial contact with Daniel Nunn to the collection driver Pete. Both were exceedingly helpful, professional and polite.
Everything they said would happen did with prescission, down to the offer, inspection and collection.
I would definetly recommend them and use them again.

Sale agreed for £5000, went through the questions over the phone all ok. So the price was set pending an inspection for this Friday coming, as clear as all there promises are....

1. We promise your valuation will be valid for 7 days.
2. We promise to send your valuation in an email and save it for you.
I have the email with the price and they later phoned me to say they can’t pay that price. This is after I’ve got a settlement figure and everything was agreed. Very unprofessional and would certainly not recommend.

And they kept to their estimation , if you are honest with them they will be straight with you .. money was transferred in minutes and bike picked when they said it would ..brilliant job.

The traders, after some deliberation, agreed to take my husband's motorcycle. The price was very fair, and the gentleman who came to pick up the bike was courteous, helpful and very professional. A good experience over all.
