I recently went to Motor Range to get a price for my car which I was selling as we were going from a two car family down to one . My hubby had made enquiries via an online form , stating that my car was in good condition . Shortly after completion received a call and was informed to come in the following day to meet with Lee. Both of us arrived ( I’m at this point reluctant to part ways with my gorgeous car) . We asked for Lee and he came and met with us . After a short chat about my car, Lee went and had a look at it , obviously it was required to have a full inspection on the ramp) .To our total surprise Lee offered us more than the online quote . No quibbles , no messing us about . Even then I thought that the car would have a mysterious fault !! But no I received the full amount for my car ( bar / small amount held back until they received the V5) which at the time of writing this review I have now also received. The whole process went completed smoothly. Lee emailed me and phoned me to keep me up to date. I would definitely recommend Lee at Motor Range . Would have no hesitation in going back .

Great site and would definitely recommend!

Car was up to a great standard and promised.

Excellent service from start to finish

Excellent service from the moment I enquired via the website to the moment I drove away in my new car. I was handled brilliantly by Matt. He looked after me by initially reserving my online selection until I was able to come to site and view the vehicle which I thought was a nice touch. I visited the day before my meeting with Matt to view some other options I found there to be a wide range of vehicles that met my expectations and I was spoilt for choice. The other team members were respectful and helpful without pushing the hard sell on me knowing I was already being looked after by Matt. Upon viewing the reserved car the next day I never felt under any pressure to take that car. Matt reviewed all my other options with me and gave me good insight into spec and vehicle values and helped support my final decision. Onto the actual closing of the deal Matt explained all additional extras such as warranties and protections for my car and I never felt under any pressure to buy something I didn’t want. Stephen who closed the finance was very good and was engaged with myself and my family which made what can be an uncomfortable nervous experience very easy. Even upon collection they have asked me back to make an alteration to the car which I was pleasantly surprised with as we with happy with the car as it was. Overall a great experience my second time using Motor Range and I believe it will not be my last. Thanks Matt and the team for looking after and exceeding my expectations.

Following the review I’ve seen by miss…

Following the review I’ve seen by miss clapman I’m also disgusted at the language I heard from who I am assuming is the same gentleman(if you can call him that) me and my wife arrived at motor range to be greeted by what I can only describe as school behaviour, there was a “grey haired” male swearing to his friends/colleagues about how he offered another gentleman outside for a fight and he would smash his head in, listening to the conversation longer we then realised that he was on about a customer. We done a 180 to our car and left straight away.
This has played on my mind overnight and then seeing the review I thought I’d share my version of events. Now I’m not saying this is how motor range conducts every sale/complaint but it did make us leave promptly.

Lack of professionalism

Went to visit Motor Range in Liverpool on the 16th of may to shop for a first car for my daughter. Found a wee Corsa that looked ideal, while waiting inside for keys and get more information, we saw a grey haired member of staff shouting and swearing at a customer, which we thought was appalling. After seeing how they treat their customers we got out of there, went to solo cars and purchased a car there.

Lovely staff

Would give this zero stars if possible

Would give this zero stars if possible! How can a so called reputable company sell cars that are botched up. Absolutely disgusting company! DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! Especially the Liverpool branch. Sell you a dream until you walk out the door then they do not want to know! The amount of stress this company has caused me and my family is ridiculous and not one bit of understanding! And still without a working car! DISGUSTING

Worst experience of my life

As an autistic person this experience was difficult I wasn’t expecting to be verbally attacked for complaining about faults with my vehicle

I like consistency and routine which anyone who has deal with autism knows

I was eating porridge and the staff made fun of me for eating porridge causing me to be very uncomfortable and distressed and I was constantly asking to speak to a manager which they refused

Even on cctv the women at the desk stood you being visually aggressive waving arms and telling me to sit down or leave they don’t care
Worst experience of my life
The after care service team are rude aggressive and make up false allegations.

I was sold a vehicle with proven faults and major dangerous faults

The windscreen wipers are faulty and the service team said they was fine
So I stood in front of a manager and poured water all over the screen and the wipers did not work

4 wheel drive system does not work along with other faults

Made to wait 3 hours for my inspection when was told it would be 1 hour

Repeatedly told me to leave and don’t care about a vehicle rejection

I’ve never been verbally attacked by 3 females for making a complaint.

Made up allegations to get me off site so they don’t have to deal with the vehicle issues and they 100% dudes not offer to check the faults after I demonstrated them not working

Dangerous liars who sell faulty vehicles stay well clear!

Hello Kirk,

We take all customer feedback seriously; however, we must respond factually to a number of the allegations made in this review.

Firstly, we have a duty of care towards our employees and will not tolerate abusive, threatening, or aggressive behaviour directed at members of our team.

On the day of your visit, it was explained that whilst vehicles are booked in from 8am, diagnostics are carried out in line with workshop availability and do not necessarily begin immediately at 8am. We accept this could have been communicated more clearly and this was acknowledged to you at the time by our Service Centre Manager, who then personally took over your case in an effort to resolve matters professionally.

Following an internal review and CCTV assessment, it was evident that the situation became confrontational. During the interaction, inappropriate and deeply offensive comments were directed towards members of staff, including mocking a staff member’s weight and telling a member of our team that she “should die.” This behaviour is completely unacceptable under any circumstances and caused significant distress to our employees.

In addition, after being asked to leave the premises, you positioned your vehicle in a way that blocked the entrance and exit to our site and refused to move it, causing disruption to the business and other customers.

In relation to the vehicle, diagnostics were completed and repairs discussed with you. Whilst further checks were offered regarding the rain sensor wipers, the wipers were functioning during inspection and were not deemed a dangerous fault at that time.

We want to make it clear that we are always willing to help customers and will do our very best to resolve vehicle issues as efficiently and professionally as possible. However, we cannot do so at the expense of the wellbeing of our staff. Providing a safe and respectful working environment for our employees will always take priority, and no member of our team should be subjected to abuse whilst carrying out their role.

We appreciate that vehicle issues can be frustrating; however, respectful communication must be maintained at all times. Should any future interactions involve abusive or threatening behaviour towards our staff, we will have no hesitation in refusing service and contacting the police to remove individuals from our premises if necessary.

I would highly recommend motor range to any one . Everyone was so helpful and very professional. Big shout out to ryan tattersall that made my experience even better , was very helpful, professional and went well on above and beyond to make sure buying my new car was simple and easy to purchase.
