Sold me a car not fit for purpose and warranty not worth paper it’s wrote on avoid at all costs

Bought a Q3 from (Garstang) Branch this week and can not fault the lads working there. Andy dealt with the entire process start to finish with trading in the old car and leaving with the new one. Can’t say a bad word about him he was absolutely amazing and so easy and friendly to chat with and made the process so relaxed (Top Sales Men) Asked for the Q3 to be valeted and went above and beyond giving it a 360 machine polish and making sure it looked pretty much brand new. The best experience I’ve had buying a car hands down 👍🏻

It was almost in the night when I came across my Audi A3 on the Motor trust website and I felt it was the one for me. A visit was accordingly fixed, which I made the following day. The vehicle itself was in superb shape, even better than the photo showed, and the people were very nice. They assisted me step by step in the purchasing process, which was not complicated at all. In a few hours I was driving my new Audi home. This was indeed, super awesome experience!

Motor Trust made the process of buying my Volkswagen Passat a good one, the atmosphere in the showroom is pleasant and inviting. I did sign papers and they made sure I knew what was happening in each step of the transaction. The car was like new, and this was the best thing I could have asked for. For all those who are in search of a luxury car, then Motor trust is the place to go for sure!

Well worth the two trips to Lancaster from London. Great service - We went to look at an X6 and ended up buying and Range Rover as well ! No pushy sales patter - All paper work sorted for us and the vehicles were prepared to a very high standard and looked brand new. Would recommend the body work finish product. I recently purchased a Lexus Rx at Motor trust and this was possibly one of the greatest car buying experiences I have ever had. The staff were polite, well informed, and courteous. They assisted me in examining the available financing alternatives and ensured that I chose a suitable one. Everything was done promptly, and it was just but a matter of moments, I was driving the car off the lot.
If you're looking for an easy breezy car purchase, I would recommend motor trust.

I went to the dealership to view a specific car. (Volvo xc90). When I got there the staff were friendly and I was able to take the car for a test drive.

I was interested but the alloys needed to be looked at, there was some paint chips on the bonnet and some stitching internally that needed to be repaired.

I was assured all this would be done and the car would be ready to pick up in 3 to 5 days. I paid the deposit.

There was poor communication thereafter and the car wasn’t available until two weeks later. On the way to collect I was told that they had forgotten to do the MOT. I had to wait at the dealership for the car to go back for an MOT. When the car arrived the wheels looked great, but the paint touch ups were not very good.

Despite assurances that the car had been serviced the Adblue light came on after 24 hours. The day after this the coolant light came on. Again, an easy fix but these are things I would like expect to have been done during the service.

EDIT the engine management light has now come on less than 4 weeks after purchase.

UPDATE I have contacted Motor Trust to inform of the defects and ask that they make good the repairs. To be fair to the dealer they have agreed to repair the vehicle. I may have been slightly too quick to give a poor review and so I have amended to reflect this.

Currently waiting for the car to be repaired and returned.

Andy could not have been more supportive, offering to walk me through the entire process, making it much easier. The paperwork was minimal and I felt looked after every step of the way. The customer service was great- the people were nice, helpful and well informed. They were straightforward and attentive in helping me choose a car that was suitable for me, without forcing me to purchase one. The financing methods were very good and so was the entire process. I will most definitely be advising my friends and relatives to use Motor trust

In my case, the last purchase was a 2019 Honda CR-V, and I bought it at Motor trust. It was a good experience from the beginning to end. The sales assistants were very friendly, answering all of my inquiries, and they guided me in the process without any pressure. The financing process was timely and convenient and I love my new car. To everyone out there looking for a new car, I recommend that you pay a visit to Motor trust.
