Awful
Still haven’t received my payment for my vehicle after it was collected nearly 2 weeks ago. They reduced the price a ridiculous amount but only let me know after collecting the vehicle. Shame really.
In response to the reply from Motorwise. We advised it was a camper van, there were no wheels left in the back of the van, there was a built in bed and drawer unit, which couldn’t be removed before collection, so I can appreciate a price reduction in regards to this. The wheel your referencing, is the spare tyre that came with the vehicle. Also only received payment after posting this review. Thanks again, but will not be using this service in future or recommending, especially after reading other reviews on here.

We have investigated this matter fully with the recycling centre involved and, having reviewed the circumstances, we do not believe this review fairly reflects what occurred.
The vehicle collection was arranged by a third-party agent on your behalf (we believe a friend or a relative). During the booking process, the recycling centre specifically asked the agent whether there was any waste in the vehicle. As is standard when arranging the collection of a commercial vehicle, your agent was advised that all waste and personal belongings must be removed before collection. The agent advised that, to his knowledge, there was no waste, but confirmed that he would check with you and ensure that anything present was removed.
Unfortunately, when the driver arrived to collect the vehicle, it was found to contain a substantial amount of household and general waste, including mattresses, duvets and old tyres. The recycling centre took photographs at the time to document the condition of the vehicle.
The driver attempted to contact your appointed agent to discuss the situation but was unable to reach him. The vehicle was nevertheless collected, but payment was temporarily delayed while the recycling centre established the additional cost of disposing of the waste.
Once contact was made with you, the recycling centre explained the situation and gave you the choice of either accepting a £119 deduction to cover the additional waste-disposal cost, or arranging to collect the vehicle and dealing with the waste yourself. You chose to proceed with the collection and accepted the deduction, following which payment was made.
The deduction reflected the recycling centre's actual additional cost of disposing of waste that should have been removed before collection.
Our website also clearly explains that vehicles must be emptied of rubbish and personal belongings before collection. Vehicle recycling facilities are not general waste disposal facilities and are required to incur additional costs when significant quantities of waste are left in a vehicle.
We appreciate that the circumstances may not have been the outcome you wanted. However, based on our investigation and the information provided by the recycling centre, we believe the recycling centre acted reasonably in dealing with the condition of the vehicle, and that the delay and deduction arose from the presence of waste in the vehicle at the time of collection rather than from any failure on the part of Motorwise or our appointed vehicle recycling provider.

Highly recommended, after giving all the details of my car , I was given a quote which I was very happy with . On the date of the pick of my car , the man turned up at the exact time he said he would. Very friendly and extremely professional. Quick and easy to use - 100% reliable
The website was easy to use and the process was incredibly quick. I was contacted by my nearest motor recycling centre - DHL auto recyclers - within an hour, the vehicle was collected the next day. There were problems manoeuvering my old car from its 3 year parking place but DHL found a way to move it! The man collecting the car was courteous, friendly and helpful - he explained how to register the sale with DVLA and sorted the collection with very little disruption of my day. The full amount originally quoted by Motorwise was in my bank account the day after collection. Absolutely excellent service from DHL - would highly recommend.
