Honest and efficient
Fast, efficient, friendly and honest.
I have had experience in the past when the company turned up with a flatbed truck and then didn't pay the previously agreed price for my vehicle.
Not these guys... payment received in my account a little over 12 hours later.

We were disappointed to receive your review, as providing a reliable and professional service is extremely important to us. Whenever concerns are raised, we investigate them thoroughly to establish the facts.
Following our investigation, we obtained the collection records from the appointed recycling centre. As you acknowledge in your review, a driver was dispatched to collect your vehicle on the agreed day.
Before attending, the driver contacted you at 3:06pm to confirm that you still wished the collection to proceed. The call was answered and the collection was confirmed. The driver then travelled for approximately one hour from the recycling centre's depot in Poole to your address, arriving shortly before 4:00pm.
On arrival, the driver attempted to alert you by knocking/ringing at the property. When there was no response, he made four telephone calls from outside your address at 3:59pm, 4:00pm, 4:07pm and 4:10pm, all of which went unanswered.
The driver then contacted the recycling centre's office to check whether you had made contact by any other means. As no communication had been received, the office also attempted to reach you, making a further six calls between 4:16pm and 4:29pm. During the final call, someone answered but disconnected the call immediately after the operator introduced herself.
Having exhausted every reasonable attempt to make contact, the driver had no option but to leave the location and return to the depot.
To ensure complete transparency, we have emailed you screenshots of both the driver's call log and the recycling centre's office call log, which objectively evidence the multiple attempts made to contact you before and during the collection.
We fully appreciate that missed collections are frustrating for customers. However, it is equally disappointing for our business to receive a one-star review suggesting that no contact was made, when the evidence clearly demonstrates that extensive efforts were made to complete the collection.
We respectfully ask that, having reviewed the evidence provided, you reconsider and remove or amend your review to reflect what actually occurred. That would be greatly appreciated.
EDIT: The email we sent attaching the evidence of call efforts has been updated as Undeliverable as your mailbox is full and can't accept messages. Should you wish to receive the offered evidence, please contact us.

We had an excellent experience with this scrap company, thanks to Shane. He was friendly, professional, and extremely helpful from the moment he arrived to collect our VW polo. He explained everything clearly, helped me with all the paperwork, and made the whole process quick, easy, and stress-free with smile on top in this weather. Nothing was too much trouble for him, and his excellent customer service really stood out. Shane is a real credit to the company. I would highly recommend this service. Thank you, Shane!
