I spoke with Guerda. She was simply amazing. I am 60yrs of age (not old!) and my experience with her was the best customer service representative I have ever experienced. So huge that's to Guerda, give her a raise in pay 😁😁😁

Helpful advice but terrible acoustics

Very helpful advice and all questions about cover answered clearly and in a pleasant manner. The only negative was the loud voice of another member of staff dealing with another customer that nearly drowned out the conversation I was having. Please give these staff more space and acoustic shielding in whatever call centre they're in.

Getting travel insurance was a very easy process. Everything was very clear and explained well. Was surprised how much dearer it had got compared to two years ago, but getting older doesn't help. Another company refused to take us as we were over 65.

Adequate insurance on paper, but watch out for the evidence required for claims.

Generally decent insurance, however the burden of proof that they require in order to claim for items like missed departure is quite onerous. For example, if my bus is caught in traffic en route to my departure airport causing me to miss my flight, then in order to claim, I need to have a report from the police or emergency breakdown service. Who is going to have that?! The policy document is a tome of 40 pages, full of get-out clauses in favour of the insurer. Very easy to buy the insurance, but I would guess it will be very difficult to claim for a covered expense.

Forced into auto renew in order to buy

No promo code, also did not like that I was forced to choose the auto renew button in order to buy. That should be an option rather than force and then the onus is on the customer to undo it in manage policy.

I am sure a lot of people either don't read it or forget to undo it and for that reason it should be removed.

The price is very competitive

The price is very competitive. However, it's difficult to find the contact details should you need them while away. Customers shouldn't have to go through half a dozen documents to source this info.

Asked for a refund after initially saying that i had made a mistake on the policy and with there 14 day cooling off period 24 hours later still waiting
