Even though I've taken a break from Taylor's course, I have thoroughly enjoyed it. It's excellent how Taylor presents it an his live sessions. I hope to get back to jamming soon.

The exercises are very good to learn to change chords quickly. The instructor is very dedicated to his students and the materials and training are quite professional.

I love the program it is very Strong in contact the video instruction helps you to break things down and understand the guitar.

If you're serious about learning the guitar this is the program that will make it happen.

Taylor does a magnificent job in this course. One can take the course at their own pace, and Taylor makes himself available to answer any questions. It has certainly helped me in my quest to learn the guitar.

I am relatively new to Taylor's program but have greatly enjoyed it so far. While the program is geared primarily to new students, I have enjoyed it as someone who played in the distant past and am getting back into playing again. Taylor is incredibly patient and provides an excellent mix of basic theory and practical steps to get playing quickly, with basic chord shapes, strumming patterns and keys, integrated with playing contemporary songs to keep things interesting. Excellent program.

Felt lost and frustrated jumping from one YouTube “how to play guitar” video to another. Playing the guitar felt like a hopeless journey. . . until I gave MusicMatchr building blocks a try. Taylor is honest, encouraging, and always there when help, support, or encouragement is needed. The best part about the program, besides working, is the lessons are on my schedule and my current skill level. I can spend as much time I need mastering a lesson before progressing to the next lesson which is extremely beneficial for my later in life decision to pick up a guitar! Jump into MusicMatchr! Guitar Building Blocks is the best lesson program I’ve enrolled in. Taylor’s lessons are fun and easy to understand. I also love that I can learn at my own pace and apply what I’ve learned playing along to jam tracks. THE best part of the program are Taylor’s LIVE group coaching session every week. Taylor explains more in depth about skills and techniques we learn in the building blocks. And how they’re applied to popular songs. We can also book private sessions. I’m very happy I made the decision to join and truly grateful for Taylor’s guidance.

I got a lot out of the lesson on “Sweet Home Alabama”. I love the way Taylor teaches the song in the simplest way and then gradually teaches the more advanced ways to play it.

Taylor has put together a very informative and enjoyable guitar learning platform. The lessons are easy to follow along with, challenge you with new concepts that build on each other, and give a clear path through them. Also, as a great bonus, he does live classes online every Saturday morning.

Taylor is an excellent instructor, he makes all lessons enjoyable but detailed. I would especially recommend his site for any new guitarist looking to get a good baseline of knowledge to start your guitar journey.

Let's start with I always wanted to play a guitar always thought it was too hard. Found Taylor's class online and wow what a difference I can now play a guitar and it wasn't that hard.

Taylor is great at breaking down each lesson in a fun and informative way. The building blocks are logical and motivating.

I just started the lessons and they are really great, but what I really love are the live classes on Saturday. A lot of it is over my head, but I always get some new tip or information.

Definitely one of the best sites for learning Guitar! The program focuses on building muscle memory while going through the building blocks. You can move at your own pace and the lessons are very well structured.

In addition, Taylor has a live class every Saturday that is awesome. In the live sessions we cover more music theory and I learn something every time. If you really want to learn how to play the guitar, this is the place to go.

I have just started (a few weeks in the program) but I can tell you the difference between this and other guitar instruction programs is the personal touch Taylor gives his program. It not only works but Taylor is there to help you and guide you. I am so thankful for his professionalism and willingness to share his talent!

Taylor Barnett skills as an instructor are excellent. He explains what he is teaching in simple straight forward way that is easily comprehended and at the same time makes it interesting. He works hard to keep you enthusiasm up by providing weekly live classes and one on one instruction. I don't think there is a better online or live instructor.

Taylor makes beginning guitar so accessible! I signed up for the guitar building blocks because I knew I needed some structure and someone to guide me through various techniques as I started learning guitar. What I got was so much more than I expected. The play along tracks at different speeds are super helpful, and a great compliment to the written materials. What has impressed me the most is the access that I got to Taylor’s weekly online classes. It’s like a free group guitar lesson every week, and weeks that you can’t make it there’s always a video replay. They’re interactive and a lot of fun and a seriously great value!

I’ve tried several guitar courses and have not been able to stick with them - until this one. The lessons move quickly so they’re not boring, and I was able to see progress which kept me interested. Also, there is a weekly online session with the instructor where we learn new songs and other extra cool stuff that keeps it fun! I highly recommend this course!
