Mutual of Omaha Reverse Mortgage Reviews 

It is virtually impossible to acces my account online. I wait HOURS for a verification code which is texted to me. By that time I cannot log in as it has timed out.
I have asked about this before but never recieved an answer.
So I have to rate my experience as bad.
My only recourse is to fax my requests.

Kim Giberson was great to work with during the entire process from my initial contact to the final closing. She explained in detail the entire process and made sure all of my questions were addressed immediately.

Mo Busheri was awesome to deal with he explained everything in detail and kept us in the loop the whole time we felt very good about the whole process he also did exactly what he said he would do and that's very important he was also very available for any questions thank you for making our live much easier.

When I first met Rodney Kalb by phone several months ago, I had decided no Reverse Mortgage for me! Another local agent for a competing company had been here at my home in person and I had invited my CPA to be present. He had four various scenarios to present. We did not think this was a solution. Too little money up front and too controlling. Oh, but Rodney told his short story, sent me some concepts and it all made sense. If it did not, he was quick to return calls and explain matters to me that were certainly out of my wheelhouse. As my life began to interrupt the process, he was a savvy pro; never was there a "tone" in his voice and, together, we were able to move matters along. We chose not to let too much time pass, for I wanted him to know he was my choice.
That Reverse Mortgage I had been against, became the best player for my needs and Mutual of Omaha came through. Due to my own corporate business life in New York, I had become a more than average "reader of people" on the phone. Your office in San Diego should be proud to have Rodney on your team.
This is one terrific employee who even called me on his cell during personal time! Who does this in today's society? Well, I know who and he brought me through this process calmly and with the answers I needed.
He read me clearly and even had some pride in my understanding of the process! His personality had a bit of everything I admire. Had he come into my Manhattan office for an interview, my getting to YES would have bolled him over. His total persona is one of experience, friendly, humorous, smart, quick to understand and honest. Without him, I doubt this would have come together. He had me believe that he cared doing the right thing. I did and he delivered.

When I decided to take advantage of revers Mortgage I was terrified. I thought they will take my information and work it against me. I had heard the name of Mutual of Omaha but diden`t know what exactly you do. so I called and Mr Marcus answer the phone. he took his time to answer all my question then explain what and how the company works. After several calls I felt a bet more calm but I had knee surgery . The pain and discomfort was something I had never experienced before. I told him I need a few weeks for my brain make a decision. I am sure I would not have consider to move forward if it was not for his kind personality explaining all the details. amazing how he could always find a solutions any level. Our initial contact with your company was with Robert Hodges. He was knowledgeable, attentive and receptive to all our questions and concerns. He highlighted the benefits of doing business with Mutual of Omaha, and the accolades earned by your company. He was upfront about the care taken to protect our shared information. He was personable and relatable. He explained the steps in the process always taking time to answer every question before moving forward. He stressed how the company valued every client and offered us a variety of options that might meet our needs. He continued to be readily accessible and respond to all new questions. He did not rush us, he waited until he was sure we understood his answers and he had explained everything to our satisfaction. He let us know the names of staff that would contact us as the process moved forward. He remained a safety throughout or transaction, knowing we could reach out if we were unsure in any way. We were pleased with all your employees with which we had business. You should be very proud of this team.

I worked with with Kelly Skemp as my loan officer in the San Diego office. I could not ask for a better or nicer more professional person to work with. She was amazing and led me through carefully every step of the way always taking the time to explain all aspects. If I had any questions, they were answered promptly by email, text or phone. I highly recommend working with her if you are looking for a reverse mortgage.

Mo Busheri was extremely good to work with, There were a few non-standard elements associated with my reverse mortgage and Mo addressed them professionally with patience and understanding. I never felt pushed. Mutual of Omaha's underwriters seem ultra-conservative but they came through in the end. During my process of selecting a lender, I felt bombarded with emails, texts and phone calls from virtually every company I contacted except Mutual of Omaha, who's marketing was much less aggressive, an important factor in my choice. I would choose them again.

Steven Pedretti was extremely helpful. He completely understood our needs and worked with us closely to achieve what we wanted. We could not be more satisfied with the final deal.

Brooke K was our first point of contact. She listened to what we were looking for then provided different options and explained each one carefully and thoroughly so that we could pick the right one for us.
She was responsive, business like with a little personable added in there. It made the experience a good one.
Our only criticism is on the Processor end. This person seemed to be confused and really, not sure what he was asking for or couldn’t point us in the right direction for documents that he was asking for. Sometimes bordering on rude.
The end result was positive.

Christina was a great lady to work with. She answered all of my many questions, probably more than once since I'm sure I asked some more than once. She's very patient and really helped me understand the process. Ed was also super nice and answered all my questions.

The agent that was assigned to my application Steve Gomez Sr. helped me understand throughly the process of completing the reverse mortgage process. He made it less stressful for me by informing me of everything I needed to do to complete my application.

Blanca Rodriguez was the bomb! She knows what she is doing and does it very well. About a year ago, I backed out at the last minute to go with a loan modification instead. I told her if I was in need again that I would call her. Well a year later, I did call her. She pushed me through and in record time! It took about 3 weeks and we closed! I am extremely happy with her and Mutual Of Omaha! I recommend highly!
