My Beautiful Kitchen & Bathroom Reviews 

There were many problems but I will focus on customer service provided. The background is that there were numerous installation problems by the fitter Roy who started the job 3 days late without advance notice, failed to plan the job with me, put in half days and late finishes without agreement, downed tools for the weekend without agreement or leaving working wash facilities (completion due by Friday), rushed everything and after a late evening finish suddenly pressured immediate payment without completing the job, abusing me by text when I couldn't BACs it all to him that same night. He missed parts of the design and then claimed after the job was done that My Beautiful Bathroom hadn't sent him the design which he somehow guessed (which seems dishonest especially as I was told later he had worked for My Beautiful Bathroom for years). From before the job had started I had requested that the My Beautiful Bathroom project manager David contact me and in spite of being assured that he would I didn't hear from him till long after the job. When the fitter returned later to fit a hook he had missed (and replace a damaged panel) it was with anger and abuse about not getting paid immediately (outside my house in front of my neighbours), failing to address the issues I reported with the vanity unit and slamming the door as he left. Further when I provided evidence to My Beautiful Bathroom (CCTV and text messages) it was the fitter who subsequently contacted me to mock me by text! I was assured by an apologetic customer service rep that this would not happen again and that another fitter would rectify remaining faults. When the My Beautiful Bathroom project manager David eventually did attend all he did was use a screwdriver to adjust a couple of vanity unit cupboard doors (which are still badly aligned) then told me (as if everything that happened was acceptable) that the fitter could be a bit crabbed and implied that some of the faults were due to his assistant. That may be so but I expected those faults to be addressed by another fitter as promised. David promised to follow up on the issues I showed him but when I heard nothing and contacted customer service they reported he had said my issues had been solved. This was news to me and struck me as dishonest. Customer service then assured me David would contact me. He didn't and instead passed a message through customer service offering to come to site with the original fitter! This was obviously unacceptable. In spite of again contacting My Beautiful Bathroom to request they uphold their original assurance to have alternate fitter address issues or provide refund so that I can arrange this myself they have not responded other than to say that they had passed this on to David who never contacted once after the site visit. Issues include (among others) having an isocast sink that hasn't been levelled correctly (water runs off to the right instead of towards sink, damaging the underlying unit), tap too small for sink (this is a design fault and contributes to latter problem due to splash), badly squint towel radiator (suggesting failure to use spirit level in general), and misaligned vanity unit panels (which the fitter somehow blamed on the joists of my house), lights too bright, and more... Fortunately the part of the design that was missed wasn't vital and though I would have preferred professional rectification there were just too many issues not getting dealt with so I just bought and installed a shelf myself. I thought I was paying for a professional service that would save time, hassle and give me a beautiful bathroom.

None of this has happened.

Note: since the above review I have been phoned by My Beautiful Bathroom and a response has been left here but this again suggests I invite the same fitter back on site, contradicting a previous assurance that another fitter would be assigned to the task. The suggestion to have me seek to have this guy back in my house as though I'm the impediment is a real let down and a breach of any trust I placed in them when I reported his inappropriate behavior and poor workmanship.

Recently had our upstairs bathroom redesign & fitted by my beautiful bathroom . From the design team to the fitting team my beautiful bathroom were outstanding. The price and quality of the product are amazing . David our fitter & his team were first class everything went like clockwork right down to the guy that uplifted the old bathroom suit & rubbish he lifted everything not even a screw left behind . David was bang on time every morning very professional and done an amazing job to transform our bathroom it look amazing. The waste pipe for shower was to high so rather than raise show tray David cut new hole in outside wall and attached a new section of pipe thanks David. I have no hesitation in recommending my beautiful bathroom. The easiest 5 star review I've ever done . Will be back soon to.plan my downstairs toilet next

Recently had both our new upstairs bathroom supplied & fitted, & a new small downstairs sink & toilet built into our existing front porch by My Beautiful Bathroom, & we are delighted with the results. The team were great throughout the whole process, the design & choice of products were amazing, & Daniel & his team who carried out the work, did so to perfection, & were a joy to have around. Both projects turned out beautifully. We would highly recommend using My Beautiful Bathroom. Thank you guys.

Friendly designer who was very thorough and walked us through everything. The contractors who fitted the bathroom were also very professional and my daughter is delighted with her chosen scheme. A missing part was a hitch but got tracked down. The price was very reasonable.

We chose to have our bathroom renovated by MBB based on the positive online reviews. Design happened in store including a visit to our home. We paid the amount for products. They then arranged a contracted fitter who contacted us a week before the fitting. Problems along the way:
1. Poor communication between design and fit team: At the planning stage, we decided to raise our ceiling height (previously a false lowered ceiling). Multiple emails back and forth documenting this and it cost us more in terms of tiling and fitting time. This was not communicated to our fitter. They started the bathroom at the lower ceiling height. When I told them it was to be raised, they said they hadn't allocated time for this. They had to pause the job for 1 week where we were left with no flushing toilet and no shower (it is the only bathroom in our house). MBB accepted fault but no compensation.
2. Poor home visit and design checks: We planned for an extractor fan- agreed with both the designer in store and reviewed by the person who did the home visit. Day 1 of the job, the fitter pointed out that this wasn't possible due to pipework outside. By this stage, we didn't have time to arrange a ceiling fan through the roof.
3. Poor understanding of product by the design team: I specifically asked (before products were ordered) whether our flush button would be accessible with the toilet seat up. In an email, the designer said that the flush plate could be moved up to allow this. This was incorrect and at the fitting stage we were shown a fixed panel. We have to put the seat down every time we flush (I appreciate people have opinions on whether they would want this or not but it's specifically what we wanted).
4. Poor design: No consideration was made for our toilet roll holder. When I realised there was no space for one beside the toilet, I was advised by the designer that the toilet roll could just sit on the shelf behind the toilet.
5. Our toilet was plumbed into the hot water. Every time we flushed the toilet, the boiler came on. The plumber apologised for this and it was rectified.
6. Frustrating communication at all stages: When the bathroom was on pause, there was some uncertainty as to when the fitter was returning. We had no flushing toilet or shower. I called and emailed MBB multiple times before I would ever get a response. When I emailed a complaint at the end of the job, it's taken 3 weeks and 2 chaser emails to get a response. They have confirmed that we will get no financial compensation for the above.

Everything from planning through to delivery and fitting was first class. Super speedy, all members of the team were very professional and friendly and we couldn't be happier with our finished bathroom and ensuite! Would recommend for sure!

Got my bathroom done few weeks ago absolutely delighted fabulous job done by Martin and John had few problems with old pipe work Martin was a star and resolved everything looks fabulous .
Also Natalie excellent customer service kept us fully updated with everything

What an excellent experience! From start to finish it was an easy process working with the team at My Beautiful Bathroom, working through the designs and making a plan. We couldn't speak highly enough of Stephen Watson, the fitter. He was friendly and professional, interested in every detail and kept us informed all the way through. He and his team have done such a beautiful job fitting the new bathroom and we are so pleased with the end result. We now have the perfect family bathroom; it's modern, fresh and bright looking and very easily cleaned (ideal with 2 young kids using it!) Would highly recommend!

We have just had a new bathroom fitted by 'My Beautiful Kitchen & Bathroom' and couldn't be happier with the results. The whole experience working with the team has been exceptional, from the initial planning stages, through to the scheduling and completion of the job their work has been fantastic. Their great communication has meant we've always been fully updated of the scheduling at each stage and everyone has been so helpful and friendly. Our bathroom is tiny and in an old building which makes it a very tight and irregular space to work with but what they've achieved is amazing and exactly what I wanted. Special mention to our fitter Paul who really went above and beyond to produce a fantastic result in what was an incredibly tricky space to work with. I have been recommending them to all my friends and will definitely be using them again when we are in a position to replace our kitchen!

Recent renovation of shower room carried out. Stephen and his team were very professional, and completed the work to a very high standard. They took great care to tidy up once finishing the work and left the house spotless. Follow up from Sharon was great, ensuring that we were happy with everything. Second time we’ve used the company and would highly recommend.

I was very pleased with my experience getting my new bathroom. The process was hassle free right from the start, and I was very impressed with how quickly everything went. Martin, the fitter, was very friendly and it felt like the project was completed in no time at all and to a very high standard.

Great service, excellent fitting done most professionally, with care and attention given by Karolina in Edinburgh branch to supporting changes when requested and to responding to queries. Their fitter Stuart Edwards and his team were most professional, very dedicated and strongly committed to their work, resulting in completing jobs required ahead of schedule. Follow through and tidying up after job was very professionally done.

I went with this company for my new bathroom project after a recommendation from a work colleague, who had used them before. The whole process was seemless, from visiting the showroom to get plans drawn out, the home visit to check measurements as well as the installation team. Martin and Simon worked really hard and were very tidy. I would have no hesitation is having them work in my house again. There was one small snagging issue, which we noticed after a couple of days but my wife called Martin to ask about this and he came back to the house within a couple of hours and sorted it. All in all, I can recommend this company to anyone looking for a bathroom refit.

Kieron and the whole team at My Beautiful Kitchen did a brilliant job of creating and building a new kitchen for us. The work was done in time and to our complete satisfaction.

We have had a great experience from start to finish. Ewan at the Glasgow office was great and went through lots of different options with us. We took our time deciding what we wanted and went back to speak to him several times, he was very patient and understanding with us throughout the whole process. Our bathroom was fitted by Stephen and his team. I can't praise them enough, they arrived right on time every day and didn't stop working until they left. Stephen was always happy to answer any questions we had, and he and his team were always polite and very professional. They did a fantastic job, and we are delighted with the results. I have no hesitation in recommending My Beautiful Bathrooms to anyone who wants a company they can trust to do a great job.

Design Process was thorough, and offered alternatives, All tiles, wall coverings had samples you could look at to help decide. 3 - D designs were sent immediately.
Once design was agreed, timescales were really quick. The installation team were knowledgeable and worked until they finished the project. They were tidy ,efficient and approachable.
Really pleased with final outcome which was completed in a week, and to budget

Great service from start to finish. Friendly showroom staff, who take time to discuss all the options available. Team doing the fit were tidy and kept me informed at all stages of the build. Good communication all round. I am delighted with the end result and would highly recommend. Thank you.
