MyFax is horrible and should be considered a scam! They charge annual renewals without any notice. There is no way to call them to cancel service and when you are finally able to get a response through the customer service email it is simply a canned response that does not address your issue. We were finally able to cancel our service after years of not using it, however, they refused to refund the remaining 11 months of unused service that they had just charged us for with an annual fee. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY unless you want a major headache!

The most corrupt company there is. GOOD LUCK paying just the fee they quote. They will tack on extra JUNK fees AND make sure you exceed their per page pricing by giving you TONS Of junk faxes. We stop receiving these junk faxes after switching to HUMBLE fax which by the way has 4.9 RATING ON TRUST PILOT. GO THERE!! I can't even cancel the account they keep on telling you to do it online: YOU CAN NOT they already charged me. HOW DO I get my MONEY back from the yearly subscription I NEVER WANTED? I had to dispute charge with my credit card company and if they charge me again I may have to cancel THE CREDIT CARD. UNSCRUPULOUS CROOKS!

One of the most ridiculous terrible companies out there. You can't speak to a live person! You are automatically enrolled in their yearly subscription plan and can't even switch out. I asked several times and was ignored via email. In addition, they give generic responses on how to cancel the account. They make you pay $10 every month to "carry a balance" in case you go over their page criteria. We are a small medical office and do not fax too often. We however get TONS TONS of junk faxes from roofing companies (we don't even own the building) and used car companies trying to buy our cars !!! So we always exceed their number of pages every month! So we are paying nearly $200 for fax services. SO ridiculous. DO NOT SIGN ON to this scam fax service. We moved to another company and are VERY happy about that their portal is way easier to use and they do not charge PER Page charges.

I have been trying to cancel. I tried calling phone number, but I received a message that the phone line is no longer active. I tried emailing, but I got an email back telling me I had to cancel online. I tried the online method, going to billing on the myfax central page and then going to next billing. There is no such link. I am in a never-ending cycle of frustration trying to cancel.

I have been trying to cancel my account for several days now, but they make it virtually impossible, and I am a seasoned attorney. Their phone support no longer works, nor does their chat line. I've used myfax for at least 3 - 4 years and never have I experienced an issue like I have just now. I pay $12 plus tax for 240 inbound and 240 outbound which I have never gone over.
Tonight, I sent out faxes that contained at least 30 pages. Typically, I do less than that; hence why I never use all of my free faxes. That being said, I found myself charged $10 plus tax ( OVER $20) after sending those faxes! I am so angry over this and what is more aggravating is that the site says 24/7 customer support which is FALSE ADVERTISEMENT as that is untrue! Given what has just happened, I want an immediate resolve as it involves money being taken out of me illegally!
Hope someone contacts me soon. My next step will be to go to the better business or attorney General in your area for further mediation until this is resolved. I may even dispute those unwarranted charges and report them as fraud as well.

I cancelled my account in 2022 and they kept charging me and never responded to any of my support emails. I had to tell my bank to block their charges. They were only able to chargeback 3 of the charges so MyFax.com owes me $432.

The customer service is horrible, they do not read your concerns properly, answer with a script, asking to supply the information you already provided in your original email. Immediately urge you to cancel without addressing the issue.

And after 11 months I received their email below and they finally (they say) have agreed to cancel my account and the phantom billing. Final thoughts - their FAX service is good. I used it one time and it was solid. But listing a customer service phone number that CANNOT be used, and continuing to list it to this day, and not honoring a cancel request for 11 months is a non-starter. I request that they refund a minimum of half of the $132.00 I paid them for a service I could not escape from. Well-- MyFax?

Because of no fault of my own (they had my cc info), the payment didn't post in time. I tried to contact them when they charged me $4.95 late fee, and there was no customer service number to call. I sent three emails, and no response (except automated). One email I stated if they didn't return to help with my issue, then cancel my subscription. No response. Then I received another month's bill. Once again, I emailed and no response, so I canceled them.

Scam. Was using for a year, though with random excess charges they couldn’t really tangibly explain (it’s for increased useage, but that doesn’t mean YOU used it more, it means they had to fax something 13x to get it to go through and then you get charged more. Anyway, still charging me yet their website nor phone lines are functioning anymore. Hasn’t been online for a week, charged just 3 days ago for a month again. Called their existing customer line, “they no longer offer phone support” but when transferred to a “new client sales” line, magically they’re available. To cancel, they direct you to the website, which is non-functioning.
UPDATE: I DID email you idiots and got 4 (FOUR) canned responses telling me to go to the website to cancel. My bank put a stop-charge on your charges, and I had to change my fax in a ton of places in a medical facility, AND ALSO your response isn’t even denying you did any of this. You’re scammers!

myFax has had spotty coverage the past few years; the past few days, myFax website is down (and I've tried on 3 different devices, on 2 different networks/Internet). Their website is down, so you literally cannot cancel. They no longer offer phone support, and when I emailed them to cancel, am directed back to the website, which isn't working.

Company made an auto-withdrawal from my account 10/23/2025 to pay for my renewal on 11/18/2025. I cancelled my service on 10/24/2025 and was provided a confirmation number and receipt. They refuse to refund my money claiming the payment was made therefore not entitled to refund even though I cancelled before the end of current billing cycle of 11/18/2024 and before the next billing date of 11/18/2025 began. Their agreement states "If you cancel automatic renewal of your subscription, your subscription will close at the end of your current billing cycle." I cancelled during my current cycle. It does not state that a payment received prior to the new billing cycle being non-refundable. I have paid for a year of service that I will not be getting. They do not take phone calls, everything is done by email or chat. I had been with them for over 10 years. I cancelled because no one was faxing me documents, preferring to email via secure email.
