My Local Toolbox Reviews

Very useful app. Will use again.

Fantastic removal service, easy to arrange, very friendly and way cheaper than skip hire. : )

The plumber who came was veery good and worked quickly. We were very happy with the result, However we did find the price a little bit high.

Decorator friendly and explained what he was going to do

The team arrived a few minutes early - just before 08:00 a.m. as I have been previously advised. They introduced themselves, they were courteous, explaining where they were from, and why - so I was reassured. I showed them the pile of ‘stuff’ to be removed and they set about lifting it to their truck, bit by bit -small items and large heavy items. They were quick and efficient, and completed the task satisfactorily by 08:30. I now have more space on my patio, to sit out and enjoy.

Plumbers rang me the same day. They were working locally the next day, so came to me after they finished that job which was running late, and called me to say they would be a bit late, which was fine. They worked hard and did a proffessional job on my leaking toilets. Would recommend.

Excellent worker, Adam completed job which was first class, very pleased with patio surroundings left spotless . Many thanks, would not hesitate to recommend and use his services again

Had lovell roofing to do some work on my roof they were a good company to deal with all staff were brilliant

Quite a few replies, alas I’m Ill at present

DJ Plumbing & Heating Engineers, Llandudno. Did a plumbing job for us. Very good quality service for a reasonable price. Will be using them again.

Company you recommended came looked at job

Response time the service was great and price really good

It wasn’t a great experience unfortunately. But then again it was a sweltering day but they didn’t flag. The roof felting was put on the roof at an angle so one corner does not lay flat. They attempted to place the studs directly into the roof timbers but many of the studs missed the beam. Then on the lower edge of the roof the felt was only held on by the stud fitting the felt onto the edge of the roof there were no studs nor pitch to glue the felt in the overlap to ensure against seepage and the wind lifting the felt. The workman also failed to take away the sheet of felting they had removed. Enthusiastic workman but not sufficient attention to detail so I have had to remedy the errors.

Received a good number of contacts and quite a few were of interest.

My Local Toolbox put me in touch with a reliable contractor who replaced my leaking flat garage roof in a timely manner and to my complete satisfaction.

Lewis came promptly to view and quote, and it was very reasonable. The job itself was done quickly and efficiently with a minimum of mess. He was knowledgable, polite and not overcharging. I would thoroughly recommend him to anyone.

Excellent! A 'fuss free' system that works well. Thank you

The agent, My Local Toolbox, referred 2 trades people within a day of my posting. The first demanded £50 pre-payment (presumably to deter time-wasters) which I agreed to pay, being desperate to get my TV up and running in time for the start of the World Cup. NSW Aerials (Colne) came the following day. I was advised to install a dish as ordinary terrestrial "RF" signal would give me only basic channels. Sole trader chap completed the job in 2 hours including mounting a new dish on roof where an old one had been, routing discreet cables inside and connecting a Freesat box. Job cost £264 (without Freesat box) and works well
