We have used the service for years and a number of changes of milk delivery owners - but the current one in Ashbourne is an absolute disaster. Even after raising the complaint, it improved slightly but back to normal service - milk nearly two days late or never arrives at all. Previous Milk Round Owners were excellent but I have to advise against people in Ashbourne using the service.

I’m sorry to see so many shocking reviews. The service clearly depends on the local milkman. I’m delighted with the service provided by David Duffy. My milk (and eggs and butter if I’ve ordered them on a once off basis) are on my doorstep when I come down in the morning. The cover is always put over them. I did, however, have an odd experience with a doorstep salesman a couple of years ago. He seemed to hardly know that I had a milkman and to be confused about how many milkmen were working on our road. He insisted that one of my neighbours had a different milkman. I know they have the same milkman I have.

Clear disaster
Charging for something what's not delivered and unable to cancel the order. Phoned numerous times and no response. Stay away from it

Disappointing to read of the poor customer experience some people have and are experiencing, service must be dependant on milkman as our service is excellent, Mark is totally dependable, reliable and friendly.No complaint whatsoever, only compliments.

The service itself (while a bit clunky making changes to your order online) is fine, and I can't fault the milkman himself.

But I continued to get sales people calling to my door asking me to sign up when I already was a member. Ringing my doorbell and walking away to ring all the neighbours doors so when I'd open the door he'd be shouting across the street to me. Irritating while working from home.

Also, cancelling your account online forces you to call a phone number. This is bad for customers. Allow people to cancel online.

Cancelled and not sure I'll sign up again.

The worst experience ever, I've been getting a bill and money taken from my account for 2 week, I spent a half and hour on hold to speak to someone that cancelled my account and then the money still came out, I emailed back to the person that sent me that statement and all I've gotten back is abuse, my last email to him was to ask how I make a complaint and his reply was f#ck you.......... I would never go with this company they were charging me with milk I was never getting.....

Disgraceful service have been trying to cancell for weeks now. Do not sign up

Very poor quality of service. The milks usually arrived a bit damaged (slight leaking, so you mist keep the mill in jars then), or missed completely. After the change of order the weekly payments were not modified and when i realised it after a good few months it was a long battle to get back a part of the overpayed amount. Recently the orders changed magically without any change from my end and got items i never ordered and missed orders i placed. The customer support is pretty much not exists. And for whatever reason the cancellation must be done via phone (hello,21st century) just to hear their b*tching about leaving. Avoid at any cost. You can buy the same milk for the same price anywhere else.

I am writing in regards to the extremely poor and rude customer service I had received from Garreth Byrne on behalf of Mymilkman.ie
I signed up for a milk delivery twice per week in the morning as mentioned by Mr Garreth Byrne During his visit to our Estate but my surprise was when a man rang our doorbell at 11h40pm and dropped the milk in front of our door .
The Worst was when we sent an Email to complaint Garreth responded very impolitely saying that we were lying .
I dont see why I would need a reason to cancel my service BTW all my neighbors cancelled the service and they were not happy .

I had a door to doorsales man come to the door. I signed up then and there. I rang the number online to cancel a couple of minutes later cause I realized I would have no need for it. A few days later a shady guy came to my house threatening us and demanding we give him money. I told him to go away and he did. He came back a few days later when I was working and got a phone call from my fiance saying he threatened to smash the window and beat up his (fiance) car if we didn't give him money (he had no id, no company car no nothing to prove he did work for this company). I had to get the first train back and ring the guards and ring the company and tell them. I spoke to Pat I think. He listened back to the calls I was crying and and getting all worked up because I didn't feel safe in my own home. Thankfully that guy doesn't work there anymore. This was November 2020

You are lucky if you get a correct delivery as almost all of mine have been wrong either by missing milks or getting the wrong milks. All attempts to contact ignored. Being charged for stuff I am simply not receiving or receiving cheaper versions of it. This operation is a borderline scam.

I cancelled my account and Milkman.ie keep delivering the milk. I bought a years subscription as a gift for somebody who died. I really wish they could heed my cancelation and stop sending milk to that address and stop charging my bank account.

Inconsistent deliveries. Impossible to close your account. Billed even when order was not delivered. Would not recommend.

Don't sign up. It's near impossible to close your account. I've been trying to contact their customer service department for weeks but nobody answers the phone. I have requested multiple callbacks and never get a call. All the while I don't receive half of my weekly order. Terrible service.

Milk rarely arrives on the delivery day I signed up for and sometimes never arrives at all, despite being charged for it. It’s unpredictable and I often find myself without when I really need it or with too much for my living circumstances. My driver informed me he lives in a different county, so I am unsure as to why I was offered the service by a door-to-door salesman if there are no local drivers. He is demanding via text message and often tries to guilt trip me in to changing my delivery day, as if it is a favour he is doing for me and not a service I signed up for. I have paused my order in efforts to cancel my subscription, but I am still without the last order I paid for (3 days late). When the milk does arrive, it is a welcome and helpful service, but this is too rare for me to recommend it to anyone else. Extremely frustrating experience all round.

All I can say for me this service has been awful, got one delivery then was charged for 2 more when I got nothing, have made 4 phone calls all telling me they’ll call back leaving me waiting like a fool,how they think it’s ok to treat customers like this is beyond me customer service is an absolute joke, have closed my account today and will never use this service again

Excellent service. Lots of choice and they always keep me up to speed via email regarding any changes in the delivery schedule. My particular milkman is a very friendly chap and my order is on my doorstep week after week without fail. Would definitely recommend. Been using since early 2020.

Milk never arrived after signing up and getting a text to say to expect delivery. I emailed the Milkman looking after me and it bounced back. I emailed customer service who then never replied. Hopefully I get a refund and will not be using the service again

I have been using them since about March 2020 and I am delighted with the service and would recommend them to anyone.

Rain, hail and shine my order is there on the doorstep which is much appreciated with lockdown when I can’t get out and about.

I have not used their other products but they have full range. The first time I applied I was told there was no one to deliver in my area so I called them and quickly found Tom Gaskin could deliver to me.
