NASM’s courses are thorough, well organized, and practical. I’ve learned a lot that I can actually apply in the gym, and I feel much more prepared to build a career in fitness. The coursework is challenging in a good way, and the platform is easy to use. Definitely worth it.

I want to express my gratitude to all the experts and instructors who developed these courses. The study material is exceptionally well-organized and structured progressively, which makes it much easier for the students to grasp the concepts. These courses perfectly combines psychology and Science! The behavior change strategies are incredible practical. I've learned exactly how to apply them to individuals to boost client success and adherence. Highly recommend!

Solid information, easy to navigate

NASM is super supportive, and when I needed help, it was not only easy, but pleasant to speak with someone. I've earned a few creds and sub creds with NASM and I will continue learning through this platform.

I’d 100% give 0 stars if I could. Never left a bad review on anything before as cliche as it sounds but I can’t even explain how mad I am with this company. One of there sales rep calls me back in August of 2025 and LIED nonstop on the phone call. He told me 30 minutes of studying for a month would be enough time to get this done. I told him I would have no time during the fall because I’m a full time student athlete who’s also working a full time job. I did 30 minutes a day for a month and a half actually and I don’t even think I was close to half way done. When I called for a refund they told me I would not be getting a penny back. So I wasted $1100 have no certification and was lied to by a rep no too mention this course isn’t interactive whatsoever so these cpt’s they’re pushing out shouldn’t be getting a job with this cert alone. Horrible company and service hate this place and what they did to me.

Overall, I found the NASM CPT education program easy to follow, well-paced, consistent, and clear. The course did a good job of taking a large amount of information and presenting it in a structured way that built on previous concepts. Most importantly, I came away with a practical understanding of the material that I feel prepared to apply successfully as a fitness professional.

The biggest opportunity for improvement is engagement. The content could be repetitive at times, and I think more varied or interactive methods of presenting the material would make the self-guided learning experience more compelling.

I also noticed several typos in the course content that caused text-to-speech/audio tools to read portions incorrectly. While relatively minor for someone reading the material visually, this could create a meaningful accessibility issue for learners who rely on these tools as an accommodation. I would encourage NASM to prioritize reviewing and correcting these errors to ensure the self-guided course is equally clear and accessible for all learners.

I detract a full star because of how relentless the marketing emails are from NASM. While I'm mid-learning, Im getting anywhere from 2-6 emails PER DAY asking me to purchase other courses or products.

Overall, I felt well prepared by the program and finished with both the knowledge needed to pass the CPT exam and, more importantly, a foundation I can actually use with future clients.

NASM is incredible. I recently achieved my CPT certification, and I could not have asked for a better learning experience. I was pleased with the wealth of evidence-based knowledge I was exposed to in the training modules. With my busy schedule, the asynchronous model was perfect for me. Although it takes great discipline to stay on track, it provided ease of mind and convenience for me as I was able to balance my busy work life with my training. Customer service was very helpful with helping me navigate the portal and sign up for the right test. I would definitely recommend anyone aspiring to begin their career in the health and wellness industry to get certified with NASM.

Practice exam and real exam not being similar at all. Course sets you up for failure unless you look for external references for the test.
Psi exam is too invasive of personal space.

Wonderful customer service despite technical issues

My experience was pretty good, only I think that having optional live class instruction may be helpful for the sort of learner like me that benefits from reading the material and then asking questions of an expert.

Customer sevice Afroz, was extremely helpful and knowledgeable in helping me through th process of renewimg my certification.

Material was interesting and presented in an easy to access way.

I learned some much information about the benefits of fitness. I happy to share this information with others as well. Looking forward to the journey as a Personal Trainer.
