Refuse to refund me when I cancelled MINUTES after signing up

I paid for my subscription and changed my mind right after that. I decided to sign up again because I had a discount code to use. I asked their support if they could just refund me the discount. They told me I had to sign up again in order to do that and wait until I was refunded later. I didn't receive a refund a week later, so I disputed it with my bank thinking there was an issue - which I only thought due to the fact Nitreo kept telling me that I was refunded through Paypal. I logged into Paypal to use my credit card, so the payment was made on my credit card. My bank gave me a temporary credit, thats what they do. I then contacted Nitreo again, and they told me in order to sign up again with the discount I would have to cancel my dispute so they could refund me. So, I cancel it. I email them again. They tell me they already refunded me (again, this is a week later from when I canceled my dispute with my bank). I ask them when they refunded me so I know when to expect it. The bank thinks they've scammed me, and I think so too at this point because they repeatedly refused to answer my questions about when they refunded me. It seems like they have stalled this whole process to push the date out so they can finally say oh we can't refund you now, its too late. You can't have the discount which was the only reason you wanted to keep the service in the first place. Emailing them about this has been a huge study in deflecting questions and saying it's out of their hands so that I just get stuck with a years subscription. Absolutely unprofessional and very disappointing. I now have NO SUBSCRIPTION AND PAID $350 DOLLARS. I can't even believe it.

The end result will still be the same, you will of course receive your refund in full. But this matter is now in the hands of your bank and chargebacks typically take longer.

I really think they have amazing…

I really think they have amazing customer service - my account wasn’t doing anything and it was confusing me and they have been doing the most to sort it out but most importantly keeping me well informed - it’s only been a short while but so far they have been the best.

Stay away!

Hopefully you searched the internet for reviews prior to giving this company any money. I’m not happy with the services they provided. As a matter of fact, after about a month or so they just quit doing anything. To top it off, it’s difficult to cancel. Save your money.

I have been using nitreo to promote my online business and so far i find it a valuable tool in my marketing toolbox.

its not perfect, the app can be a bit tricky sometimes and it took a while for the effects to really start showing. first month i only got a few followers, but it did pick up a lot once the ball staryed rolling.

It's OK but no miracle.

It's OK. Don't expect miracles. I decided to test it on a brand new test account and in one month followers increased from 25 to 180. However, i am now following 690+ accounts which I had no intention to follow. To be honest, I didn't really need to pay someone 50 bucks to follow a bunch of random accounts hoping 1 in 4 would follow me back. I can do that myself . For 50 bucks I expected something a little more professional. For this reason I will not renew my membership.

I have paid 1 Year speed account…

I have paid 1 Year speed account subscription since Mid September 2020. starting of good 2 weeks that the account did generated approx 250-300 new followers. However regarding likes that I did not seen a huge effect.

It ends up i do need to pay post boost service on instagram for getting new posts more likes and viewing.

shortly after entering 3rd week, the instagram account got action blocked yesterday. it has been resulting that I could not post , like etc for 7 days. From their website, they did mentioned that our account will be safe and will not be banned by Instagram....... very disappointed that this action blocked is a huge issue as the account is for my company and this action blocked has mess up our daily marketing daily post schedule ...........

Therefore, I have written to their customer service to ask refund of the remaining 11 month subscription since that I do not think that this service can be reliable for long run .......

Good and friendly Support

I had some problems with the tool and the payment over paypal. The Support from Nitreo contacted me to solve the problem and we found a nice solution now. They also reply very fast and in the messages I see they want to make their customers happy.

SocialCaptain 2.0?

The platform is a lot like SocialCaptain 2.0 lol. Uses pretty much the same techniques with semi better results. 168 Followers in a month. Is hardly a great number. Unless a discounted price on the service is offered to keep me on. I won't be renewing a third month. They do have tech support and no not bots the answers are not generic. They are based on your questions and usually in a fairly timely manner of about 12 hours. The service is good.. but not great. I am waiting on better results before I pull out... or recommend to many of my friends and start adding other accounts I have.

Definitely satisfied with the work they…

Definitely satisfied with the work they put in.

Dubious at first, as I am wary of bot/click farms, but I gained 1000+ genuine followers over the course of a month and received regular correspondence from Nitreo staff throughout, and could access my Nitreo app to view progress/results and update hash tags etc.
Although the app seems a bit basic, it has enough features to get the results needed with the option to upgrade to the next level of promotional activity.

I will definitely continue to use their services into the future. Times are tough now in this economic downturn, but once we are out of this trough I will be putting more budget into promotion, and Nitreo will be one of the first companies I will turn to.

Not sure where those 1 star reviews are coming from, must be the competition posting them because this thing works great. My account is growing with a steady pace for more than a month now.

There were some hiccups in the start, its a bit slow at first, but after 4, 5 days it really did pick up.

Nitreo is a total money grabbing scam

Nitreo is a total money grabbing scam. Take it from someone who has managed several Instagram accounts for clients monthly. I ran a test of their system and lost followers and my engagement suffered. They have not given a refund and I’ve had to open up a PayPal claim after a PayPal Dispute due to their inaction. They are the opposite of Good Customer Service: They under-deliver and over-promise. So buyer beware. Don’t tell me I didn’t warn you!

Not very good I'm afraid

Not very good I'm afraid. I'm on my 3rd month and I haven't seen any improvement suggestions since 2 weeks after the service activated. Have had to email three times as to why I'm getting followers that have no posts. They were averaging 6 followers a day. And I was on the Speed version. That was pretty much what I was averaging before I engaged their service. The main trouble is that the followers don't match the requests made. I am a business owner and I asked for specific accounts for them to follow --comparable accounts so they can follow their followers for me - nope didn't happen. Can't believe I fell for their lies and hundreds of pounds out of pocket. Still shocked by the number of 0 posts followers and accounts with a dozen /100 followers they threw at me despite my request on their algorithm to only follow those with over 4k followers. Utter rubbish. Will be cancelling before next billing date. No doubt they will be asking for me to contact them again. Who has the time? DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY

They listen to Trustpilot!

I should have paid more attention to the bad reviews on this page.

Pretty bad, Slow and crappy service. After 70 bucks and a month they managed to score 100 followers. They waste your time and money. The day they billed for the next month, I asked for a refund. They've ignored the request and sent a bunch of emails that offer discounts, a Review call and all that. I can't tell if they actually read my email or not. I suspect not.

Reading through the responses below, I'm pretty sure they'll put some flowery explanation, that won't make up for the lost time or money. There are better options. Don't bother with this one.

*** A postscript, after posting in Trustpilot, the company was quick to refund the money to my account. They aggressively follow up for your details from Trustpilot, so you know they take postings here seriously. For that, I bump them from 1 to 3 stars. The service isn't great, but at least they are decent.

Providing an update from my last…

Providing an update from my last review. I did a review of the account with someone, but unfortunately the hiccup wasn’t resolved. Customer service was responsive, but now that it’s September, and nothing has happened I decided to cancel. I was informed that instead of a refund, the account will just remain open until the cancellation date. I’m not sure how that helps since nothing has yet to be resolved. Oh well moving on...

I gave them $49 for one month to boost…

I gave them $49 for one month to boost visibility for my business and absolutely nothing happened. No results and I didn't hear anything from the company at all. I asked for a refund they refused. They said I can cancel my account but that I would not be able to get a refund. Please don't waste your money on this.

In regards to not hearing from us - I'm not sure what's gone wrong here - we send out emails frequently in your first few weeks of working with us (and beyond, for that matter) just to make sure communication with the client remains tip top. We make sure we stay in touch with all of our clients both through our customer portal and via email.

We have had an incredibly busy period with our support staff and COVID19, and are currently bringing responses times back to where they should be. I can only apologize on behalf of the team if you didn't get a response quick enough.

To be clear, we do offer refunds within our 14 day growth guarantee period, and we typically extend your first month billing cycle in case you're not getting the results either of us would expect. If we still fail to grow your account after the month is up, we still honor a refund request as it's the right thing to do.
