We have had a great experience from the very beginning. While the financial support was important they helped us transform our sales and marketing approach. We had one on one meetings with our management team and the NGP team that energized the team and helped us focus on what’s important. A few years later they connected us with a sales and marketing accelerator that is helping us take another leap forward. Novel gets "it". They understand financing challenges with growing businesses better than all the banks I've dealt with over the years. They're filling a gap between traditional bank financing and VC/private investor capital. It's not the cheapest cost of capital (also not the most expensive) but the ability to grow the available capital levels and the flexibility of using the financing is by far the best product I've seen (and I've seen a lot).

As an early-stage founder, access to non-dilutive capital is essential. Equity is necessary but expensive. Novel had a thoughtful and straightforward process to evaluate and fund an appreciable amount of capital for our business. They took the time to get to know our business and seek a long-term relationship. Lending is commoditized, but I felt Novel sought partnerships and not transactions.
