Getting 1 star as I cannot put any lower been 3 weeks since I ordered reg plate for my son birthday and it’s still not arrived and now his birthday has passed.
Customer service don’t answer the phones and never call you back.
My advice is use another company

No communication, plates not arrived been waiting weeks. Avoid at all costs they have totally scammed me.

Would give less if I could rubbish customer service, was sent a email saying my order had been refunded, refund sent to wrong card never seen a refund so bought plates else where for a week later my plates turn up

Ordered plates from Number1Plates and have now been told by police they may be illegal “ghost plates.” We’ve been driving with them for 18 months unknowingly at risk of fines.

Despite contacting the company, we’ve had zero response.

This is unacceptable — supplying potentially non-compliant plates and then ignoring customers is not okay. Escalating to Trading Standards.

Absolute scam. After ordering from a similar company called premium plates and having issues I thought I would give number1plates a go. Exact same issues, terrible communication, been told multiple times my order will be investigated annd get the same generic response each time and never answer the phone. Ended up receiving the same email from the exact same person from both companies which confirmed both linked scamming companies.

I ordered a number plate for my Land Rover Discovery 4 three weeks ago, and the entire experience has been a complete shambles from start to finish. For three weeks, I received absolutely no communication despite sending multiple emails, making repeated phone calls, and even reaching out via Instagram just to get a response.

When the plate finally arrived, it was completely the wrong format. The Discovery 4 requires a standard square plate, but what I received was a compact oblong plate with the characters stacked in two rows — totally unusable and not suitable for the vehicle.

On top of that, the plate itself was poorly finished, with untrimmed and rough edges. A basic quality check should have caught this before it was sent out.

To make matters worse, the order confirmation does not specify the plate format or dimensions, making it conveniently difficult for customers to verify or challenge what they’ve ordered.

After raising a formal complaint, I was told I would be contacted within 24 hours yet it has now been a full week with still no response.

Three weeks of chasing, zero communication, incorrect product, and poor quality. I have now escalated this further and will be pursuing additional action if this is not resolved.

Save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere.

Still waiting for the delivery of my plates. Little contact with the company. An improvement would be not using Evri.
I paid for express and it’s been 7 days so far. Just want a refund by this point as I don’t see the plates turning up. Probably have to do the charge back. I won’t use this company again

I ordered a short number plate, was sent the wrong size. I sent an email and Sophie looked into this and ordered the correct size to be sent.
The new plates are still the wrong size. Trying to email again and being told they were delivered. Yes, the wrong size was delivered TWICE. Terrible terrible service.
