Nutrasystem substitutes meals constantly. Today I received a shipment with 30 substitutions, all of which I would never order. I called to see what could be done and spoke with Katlyn, who explained that “it happens and if I don’t check the inventory I’m SOL.” Did you just tell me I’m SOL? She did agree to send replacements but not before getting her two cents in 3 or 4 times. Not very impressive or professional but good help is nearly impossible to find these days.

Targeted only to fast food eaters
This diet program is targeted for folks to eat out a lot and consume lots of fast food. I do not eat out a lot, and I prepare all my food from scratch and avoid as many preservatives as possible. This diet plan is full of preservatives and overly processed oils. Most food tastes terribly sweet as a general rule, especially tomato pasta products. Most of the food is not very tasty, particularly the nonfrozen products. I lost 3 pounds over three months. My LDL elevated as a result of this diet—very dangerous!

Absolutely awful - BUYER BEWARE
Absolutely awful. In the beginning I loved the idea.. however when my husband had a heart attack and our financial status changed, they billed an early cancelation fee of $189. BUYER BEWARE!!

Very poor customer service!!!
The taste is just so, so. I did not realize I would need so much freezer space, and I have two refrigerators( the meals/snacks filled both freezers). I called to cancel my order but was informed I was too late, and that once the meals arrived I should call customer service to start a return. When the meals arrived I called customer service only to wait on hold for over 20 minutes, then to be informed that I cannot return the frozen items ( per policy) I explained to the shontay that I spoke with a lady earlier this week who told me to call back once my shipment arrived and customer service would assist with the return of the items( shipment). shontay was very kirk and short with me, she said wellll I am sorry but you can just give the items away but we will not take them back. I would advise anyone thinking of using Nutrisystem's to think twice maybe three times...buyer beware. Their customer service is terrible, especially for the price. Please save yourself some aggravation and don't do it!!!

HORRIBLE FOOD, BUGS in Delivery
I ordered an "auto" plan from Nutrisystem and my second month (shipped early) had dead bugs in the packaging!!!! Horrible way to receive ANY food from any company. When I complained in a written email to company, they failed to acknowledge the dead bug issue. So I called to cancel (due to bugs in order) and they refused to cancel with a refund. Also, food is HORRIBLE and weight loss doesn't come. Their remedy is to speak with a "counselor" who "might" be able to help. If the program is so simple to use (eat their food, etc., and weight loss follows), there would be no reason to speak with a "counselor" who may be just another sales person. AVOID this company at all costs as it is a scam posing as a weight loss company with HORRIBLE "food."
Although Nutrisystem pretended to reach out to resolve the issue with bugs in food, etc., they failed to respond with ANY resolution. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING RELATED TO WEIGHT LOSS. Food is HORRIBLE loaded with sugar, salt and not enough protein, good carbs, fats to consider it healthy.

Achieved my goal in just over 2 months
I've tried many diets and exercise programs over my lifetime. I've done Atkins, Low-Carb, and intermittent Fasting. I've also done P90X, P90X3 (3 times), and cycling. Nutrisystems was the easiest and fastest way to lose weight, and I am now 67 years old. I started at 220, and my goal was 195. I haven't been under 200 for over 15 years. Achieved the goal due to the portions, exercise, and food quality. This is one diet that works, just like the commercials say. All you need is the discipline to stay on it.

plz you all customers review my comlain and the replay that was unacceptable. I trusted that company with my credit card for two months Only. the offer was for two month not for auto delivery .
their action just for deceiving customers and charge them extra.
purchased nutresystem for two months as they advertised..when I received the third shipment ,the dry cookies box, I contacted them that I signed for 2 month not 3 ,the first agent she replied that even though you requested 2 but you will still get auto delivery & I must cancel by calling and she will not accept return and she hung up, I called & reexplain that I don't want the food ,I was transfered to financial dept, who they said sorry they will not refund me any money , I explained to them that I haven't received any and they can stop the shipment the answer was no .they will not stop it..I called again and new rep. said the same they will not stop the shipment cause that will missed up the storage place.
so for them not got confused I m losing about $271.
..guys be careful they are just advertised for 2 months but keep charging you and its not their fault..its our fault for believing their advertising and trusted them with our credit card.

Food sucks and pressure tactics on trying to cancel
First, the food sucks big time. Total swill. You loose weight because you can't stand the thought of eating. Second, cloyingly sweet desserts and breakfasts are not healthy eating. Third, they tried to pressure me when I called to cancel. I clearly, and admittedly rudely, kept saying "Just cancel" and they kept offering me other "deals." No means no people. Beware of this plan and company.

I tried the Basic Plan
I tried the Basic Plan. So, my review pertains to that program only.
It works. It does work. No question about that.
BUT, you have to stick with it. Regularly, meticulously.
It is not complicated, mind you. It is not particularly hard, neither. But you have to follow the rules.
And my problem is, that… I am not good at following rules.
So, after a while, I stopped.
It was a good experience though. I learned a lot.
I actually intend to apply the “flex” version of the plan, as often as I can. I know that it will not generate the same results as a more rigorous implementation of the plan, but it will be enough for me.

Sent order without ok
Food was what you expected for diet. Place order for 2 months only. Got notice that my new order is ready to ship. I did not okay another month. After I called and canceled. They shipped out package 5 minutes after canceling and charged my credit card

Extremely shady billing practices from…
Extremely shady billing practices from what could be a great product. Ordered for 2 months. After the first month I called to cancel after my two months was up because the product worked wonderfully for me. Yesterday I received confirmation for my next order. I called today to say I cancelled but they already billed me an extra $500 and couldn’t stop shipment. Rude, horrible customer service. Will never order again. Shame!

I was on Nutrisystem for 4 months. The only plan with food that taste good is the most expensive, uniquely yours max +. I NEEDED a break. I was tired of the food choices and my glucose level was higher than normal from being on a few rounds of prednisone. My nutritionist wanted me on protein and veggies only. I WAS PLANNING to go back on Nutrisystem in 3 months until I tried to cancel. It was a nightmare. I was limited on time and Sash (unsure of spelling) just kept giving me the run around even when I mentioned that I was planning on starting back in a few months. What a nightmare. After that I’m nervous about starting again knowing that eventually I would need to cancel.

This company has me feeling like a sap. They trick an extra $125.00 out of you. No way I would have agreed to that cancellation fee. And the food? Of course you'll lose weight if this is all you eat. I suppose if I was living in an air raid shelter, this is what they'd serve. I plan to make them a special project of mine. Bad word of mouth can cost a company plenty.

I am a 72-year old woman and had recently subscribed to hot meal diabetic meals. The meals are excellent but the main problem is the 'packing'. I have no way of disposing of this large styrofoam container. I was informed that this is the only container that the Nutrisystem can use. It is very sad that I had to cancel my subscription because of the container. I was told that there is no solution because that's the way they ship the meals. When a more practical solution has been adopted by Nutrisystem, please let me know so that I can re-subscribe. Thank you.

I hope you print this because it may help someone else.In the past 2 years their have been many tragedies and losses last one was the loss of my son.I am almost 70 ,just had surgery gained over 100 pounds in the last year.I ordered Nutrisystem 20 years ago ,they did not tell the truth then or now.I TalKed to J Who gave me new hope ,he did not tell the truth about the menu or the program-the delivery of the food was left by the garage door and sat for 2 days-this was the same crap I got 20 years ago-Icried,8 days later the frozen food came-I called him3 times no return call-I tried calling their customer service which is a joke-no one answered for over 2 weeks,I cried -panicked-you get auto answers from email-from customer service no name -no followup no accountability,pretty clever -just like the bogus answers they give on the other reviews.I Finally got M-who would not allow me to speak to a supervisor,then T-who was going to email info-she never did -never answered phone when I called back 3 times.Z-reprimanded me said I need to be more pro-active because she did not have answers-R-helped me with menu-A-helped answer some questions,are your people all working from home?For those of you that may feel helpless and alone -I doubt you will get any help here.however I can only tell you what happened to me and this is the truth-what they do not tell you is when they run out of food that you want-they can give you whatever they have that no one else wanted,when order is late or something goes wrong-its the weather-when they dont answer for two weeks its because they have high call volume-one excuse after another ,more added stress-when you want to cancel they wont let you-tell you you have to call a certain day,time and after an order is delivered.I live week by week I want to cancel now -I Want to go back to WW-they work ,they care -a little more work but Ilost 85 pounds before and kept it off almost 5 years til Covid.I Sent 3 emails to Marie Osmond -no response-as the spokesperson you should know how people are treated-But I also wrote the CEO Michelle-no response -people like me dont matter to some of these people of course in my opinion-but I do matter -we all do customer service is not a priority and neither are clients,and I have all the auto emails-shame on you,you are not trustworthy in my opinion -I just want to be done with Nutrisystem-for those of you that it worked -all the best but my experience has been sooo terrible-I want to cancel and join WW

Nurisystem Alternative Plan
I've been on the Nutrisystem Plan 2 times since 1984. I just decided a month ago I needed to do it again. I found the Wellina Plan for $199.99 a month so decided to give it a try since it was very affordable. I just finished my 1st month yesterday. The Wellina plan is the same as Nutrisystem with the Nutrisystem foods but doesn't include frozen foods which is fine with me. I find the food very good but that's just me I guess. I get 20 days of breakfast, lunch, dinner & snacks each month and am on my own for the other 2 days a week which allows me to practice on controlling myself after I reach my goal. I pick my foods every month~~it has more limited choices than the Nutrisystem Plan has but that's ok. Being familiar with the foods I already know which ones I like so it makes it easier. I've always liked the Nutrisystem foods so I will be sticking with Wellina until I reach my goal and if they offer a plan to get periodic deliveries every few months I'll also do that to help me keep myself on track after I reach my goal weight.

Ordered from Nutrisystem for 4 months. I ordered an ala carte order for some Hash Brown Casseroles and received 82 Cardboard Chicken sticks because they said the Hash Brown Casseroles were discontinued. I asked what I was going to do with the wrong product and they said that they couldn't do anything about it because there was an email sent in January that the Hash Brown Casserole would be discontinued. We received them on the last order, I asked to speak to someone else and was told I could not. Sad way to do business.
Wrong items terrible customer service
I've used the plan off and on since 2018. I started the program again, order with an agent, double checked ny items, then when they delivered the dry food it was totally wrong. I didn't order any this food. Called Nutrisystem and she said she could replace 10 items.
SERIOUSLY? I have 12 days of wrong food. I told her I'm returning it, she tells me I have to pay shipping...REALLY? No customer service at all. I'm done with you. I won't come back anymore. Instead of admitting you're wrong you'll loose customers. Good riddance
