Wish I could rate them lower than a 1. Absolutely awful service. Ordered flowers to be delivered on the date of my wife's anniversary. Hadn't arrived by 5pm which is when she left the house to meet me at a restaurant for dinner, so I ended up wanting to (and actually) buying flowers from a florist in town.

I called their help line, and they pick up and don't say anything. After multiple minutes of saying "Hello, hello?" I finally get a response but no help. Said they'd call back.

Ended up calling them 3 times, each time with a promise of a callback, but never.

Awful service, and not delivered on time. The flowers did eventually arrive but well after business hours. When you pay for delivery on a certain day, you expect them to be delivered during the day.

Wish I'd checked their reviews before ordering. Awful company.

Box is marked as Bloomex, which also has 1 star ratings. Laughably boxed as NEW ZEALAND'S OFFICIAL FLORIST. I certainly hope not.

Customer service is shocking. The 0800 service was not overly helpful and I had to keep prompting him for information. I will not be using NZ Bloom again!

I placed an order for a funeral at 10:38am NZ time - well before their same day delivery cut off time of 1pm. I didn't receive any receipt of order except that my credit card was charged - and the recipient received an sms that the order was 'being processed'. A day later still no updates so I tried to call them and it says their number has 'temporary connection issues'. Starting to feel like a scam. Still resolving this with their live chat. What a terrible customer experience and in a time of grief.

Horrendous. 2 x Lied about no-one being there at the business to deliver - it was a daycare !! Children must have been there alone ? ...... 3 days late, flowers browned and not fresh. 8 flowers cost me $106 and late. Thieves and liars. So bad. Want photos for full refund - shouldn't matter - already 3 days late old ( probably older) so receiver has less time to enjoy them too. Hope the Commerce Commission shuts them down. So sad to have no guilt or pride to do this to people when often it may be flowers for sad occasions. Disgraceful

Do not trust this company! I really wish I'd thought to read the reviews before making a purchase from them. If I could give zero stars I would.
I ordered a gift basket for my parent's anniversary. We'll, stupid me; I thought I was ordering a special gift for two amazing people. Yes, it arrived on time. Yes, the items were in a nice basket, and yes, it was a nice surprise for them. However that's where the positives ended. The website states you can choose your own combination of items from a list of about twenty. So i chose seven items which i knew my parents would love. I was told when I placed the order that this depended on item availibility, but if unavailable they would be substituted closely, which the website states also. About twenty minutes after ordering i received an email advising that the basket i ordered was unavailable, but I would receive one of equal or greater value. We'll, what they sent had none of the seven items I'd chosen, and were nothing even close to my ordered items. Most of the items received were of extremely poor/cheap quality, and the whole 'gift' worth only a small fraction of what I had paid. And the items were so poorly substituted that my parents will likely only consume two of the seven items in the basket. So it turned out to be a huge waste of money. People would be much better putting their own gift basket together, or purchasing flowers from a local florist. I cannot stress enough the importance of staying completely away from this company.

NZ Blooms is not a company I would use again, it was a very disappointing experience with them.
I should have read the reviews before rushing to order flowers for my mother's birthday. I normally use a local florist, but on this occasion I placed an order with NZ Blooms after calling early in the morning expecting same day delivery. At no point was I advised that the flowers would not be delivered that day. They did contact Mum to say the delivery would be the following day.
The flowers arrived the following day and were in very poor condition. They had no water and appeared dry, wilted, and already dying in a box. This was completely contrary to the company's website, which advertises "fresh, quality flowers."
I sent photos of the flowers over the next few days and contacted the company by email. Their initial response was an apology that I was not happy with the flowers and that the flowers supplied were "within the value of the order" and they offered a store credit, which I declined. After two weeks of back-and-forth emails, they then referred to their substitution policy, stating that certain flowers may be replaced with others of comparable value. However, that was never the issue. My complaint was about the poor condition and quality of the flowers received.
Under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act, goods and services must be provided with reasonable care and skill, within a reasonable time, and be fit for purpose. I ultimately disputed the transaction with my bank and provided all correspondence and photographs as evidence. Fortunately, the bank agreed and resolved the dispute in my favour, * in accordance with clause 11.10 of the ePayments Code and their terms and conditions*, issuing a full refund.
In the end, it wasn't about the money. It was about the principle and the disappointing way this complaint was handled.

I made a huge mistake ordering from here. They advertise as being "local" to whatever area you type in and same day delivery. When i ordered i immediatly got an email saying it would be delivered two days later despite paying the extra money. I asked for a refund. They wouldn't allow me one. Said i can have store credit only also their customer service is from an overseas company. They then finally delivered the small and average flowers that died two days later. They then said they would refund me $5 which is a joke, but they never even refunded the money!!

Do not order from this company. It is a total scam. No flowers were delivered, despite paying two days in advance. The money has been taken from our bank account, no flowers have been delivered and the customer service is based in the Philippines in a different time zone with no understanding of the situation in Auckland. Total rip-off! This company should be investigated and shut down. It preys on kind people. Disgusting!

Total scam company. I wish I had seen the online reviews before hand..
They have basically stolen my money and nothing to show for it. Has been over three weeks and three promises of delivery that never got sent. They will not refund my card only offer store credit which is completely useless if they don’t send the flowers.

Absolutely shocking rip off, paid in good faith and flowers that were delivered were nothing like what was Ordered and paid for.
Not a small order - Flowers alone $125 -
small arrangement in vase only containing 4 roses that was delivered disgusting.

This company is a SCAM. They operate out of Georgia (Europe) and DO NOT deliver what they say. PLEASE DO NOT deal with this company, you will be very badly disappointed. I wish I had read reviews before spending my money. LIARS AND THIEVES!

What a disgusting company!

Paid for same day delivery ($20!!!) - and received a call at the end of the day to say "we can't do that, is tomorrow okay?" - to which I said no!! Cancel my order. She said "what if we refund your delivery fee, is that okay, and we'll deliver it tomorrow?"

I reluctantly agreed.

But guess what - it wasn't delivered. Now it's 3 days later, and still no delivery.

Rang them, spoke to some guy in the Phillipines, he said he couldn't tell me where the order is and he needs to find out from "the team responsible for your order".

I've gone onto their website to live chat, same ridiculous service.

Will be cancelling this transaction with my bank.

This is not a NZ company……. Terrible terrible service , trying to get a refund at the moment….. so disorganised…… no delivery no flowers for my mother’s birthday 😞😞😞😞

If I could give this company a minus I definitely would. I ordered flowers to be delivered on the 31st of August for my son’s girlfriend’s birthday. The flowers arrived two weeks later, not the flowers I asked for, no additional gift as promised and this is after multiple emails chasing delivery and requesting an explanation. Customer service is diabolical, nobody takes on the complaint personally, they refuse to refund or re-delivery the flowers until they investigated the non-delivery, a standard email apologising just is not good enough. UNLESS YOU LIKE BEING DISAPPOINTED, DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY.

I wish I had goggled this place before ordering. Terrible beyond terrible. Embarrassing to be quite honest. Flowers delivered didn't look anything like the picture and very tiny even though I had super sized my order. Wasn't delivered same day as advertised. Sympathy note printed on advertising flyer which is do tacky. The biggest waste of money and customer service only wants to offer a credit. NEVER using this company again.

I have tried several times to co tact NZ Blooms, to no avail.
Ordered a beautiful bouquet, Sunset Seranade for my daughter in laws birthday, a pathetic, tiny arrangement was delivered. Not $90 worth.
So difficult finding and trusting a company when you live on the other side of the world, but its heart breaking knowing tjat the arrangement sent did not meet expectations.
Goung to contact my credit card company and get a refund.
NZ Blooms have had several chances to rectify. Haven't bothered to contact me.

I wish I’d read the reviews before I’d spent a fortune on flowers. This company has to be the WORST company. I ordered flowers to be delivered to my daughter today for her birthday and phone 4 times to be told they were in transit. On the 3rd time I asked to speak to a manager and the customer service person refused to put me through and then ended up hanging up on me. The forth time I called back it sounded like he was just sitting there twiddling his thumbs. When asked what he was doing he mumbles something about putting me through to someone and then hang up. Apparently I’m now waiting for someone to call me back. How on earth does it take 9 hours to deliver flowers in Auckland when I gave them5 days notice. My daughter deserved those flowers and thanks to this company she has received anything. No use getting them tomorrow or in 6 days time. It was her birthday TODAY. I have asked for a refund and they won’t do it as the flowers are STILL in transit. Is this actually a real company or a rip off ??? DISGUSTING WAY TO RUN A BUSINESS

I ordered 14 long stem white roses in memory of a family member who passed away. As I live overseas I wanted the bouquet to be a lovely gesture to my family in NZ after losing their relative. However, when I saw the photo from one of my relatives of what had been delivered I was shocked - a small bunch of mostly greenery with two white flowers of some description in the middle. NZ Blooms sent an email to say they were not able to source white roses and sent something of the same value. But the bouquet that was delivered was incomparable in value to what I had ordered and after REPEATED emails to them to resolve the issue and give me a partial refund, they are refusing to do so and now not responding. I am angry and upset that such a fraudulent company can get away with such customer service - and judging by the other reviews on here - have been operating this way for some time! Do not use this company for floral deliveries - they are a total scam.
