Flowers look nothing like the photo, theres is way less than expected, the card I paid 6 NZD for only contains the receipt and not the message I left on the site. The flowers came a day late, and I've been reciving spam calls ever since ordering. The flowers look almost whitered already upon arrival. They also dilivered it to the wrong adress.

If I could give a zero star I would. I ordered flowers for a dear friend of mine to be delivered the next day. They rang me on the delivery day to advise me that they had issues and could not deliver that day. I requested for a full refund I tead and was advised that they will do their best to deliver the same day. I called them again to get an update on delivery time and they told me they can't deliver and offered next day delivery with a free upgrade - so I gave them a chance and agreed. Then I got an email at 9 PM advising that they can not deliver the next day and would deliver the following day. I then stood my ground and requested for a full refund but they refused to refund me. Instead they were offering me credit. I advised them that I do not want services from them anymore. They have stopped replying.

Ordered flowers from Australia for my sister in NZ. I wanted same day delivery. Paid for flowers then got told they will be delivered in 3 days - then got told the flowers had been picked up and would be delivered in 6 days - BY WHICH TIME THE FLOWERS WILL BE DEAD!!! Wont give me a refund so ringing my bank to cancel the payment. This is an absolute SCAM

Terrible company. I WISH I had read the reviews first as I would not have ordered from them. Bad customer service! My order was confirmed, then I received two emails during the day saying to attend to my cart or lose my order. So I had to ring up to make sure my order was done! They assured me that it was with the courier for delivery BY 5pm. Arrived after 5pm to the business address, AFTER the recipient had left. Also NOT as pictured. Dented and browned petals and leaves very noticeable. An embarrassment to present to someone.

Today was a very special day for my partner, so I ordered flowers at around 7:00 a.m. for same-day delivery to his workplace. I spent $189, expecting that a premium service would come with good communication and reliable delivery.

Unfortunately, the experience was incredibly disappointing. There was no tracking available, so I contacted customer service to ask if they could ensure the flowers arrived before my partner finished work at 4:00 p.m. I was told they could only pass on a message because they were “just the contact centre” and couldn’t track the order or provide any updates.

I then searched online to find the company (bloomex nz) that actually fulfils NZ Blooms’ same business orders and contacted their warehouse directly. They were slightly more helpful and said they would mark the request as urgent. However, when I called again about 45 minutes before 4:00 p.m., the response was simply, “Sorry, that’s all we can do,” with very little empathy or understanding that this was a time-sensitive gift for a special occasion.

I ended up spending most of my day chasing updates, calling different numbers, and trying to find out where the flowers were. The consistent response was that they use local drivers and have no tracking, so nobody could tell me where the order was or when it would arrive.

At the time of writing this review, I’m still hoping the flowers arrive on the same day, but regardless of the outcome, the customer service experience has been poor. When you’re spending $189 on flowers for someone you love, you expect better communication and a little more care.

In future, I’ll be supporting a local florist instead. In my experience, local florists often send a photo of the finished arrangement, provide an estimated delivery time, or offer some form of tracking or communication, which gives you peace of mind when you’re sending flowers for an important occasion.

Sadly, I can’t recommend this service based on my experience.

Be aware that this company is making a fortune from sending out inferior products.
You don’t get nothing near what you ordered, just some cheap excuse for a ‘delivery has been made’
I’ve pursued them for over 3 months by reporting them to the NZ commerce commissions board.
They go around in circles with excuses by email.
Don’t engage in their repetitive excuses.
I finally get asking them for their postal address which they said they didn’t have one which in itself is illegal.
I told them I needed it it for legal correspondence to be sent to them.
Very unexpectedly I got a refund after 3 months.
They know what they’re doing and the reviews say it all.
Persist, report, and stop these scammers!

If it is up to me I would not even select a Star :: literally I chased them whole day as to when the flowers would be delivered.. not a single update whatsoever and finally being on hold for 48 mins the lady said it would be delivered before 8pm. When I questioned her as to why I was not updated she said they had a power shut down :: which was crap since no one else did and when I asked the same she wa speechless ::: also the driver did not knock the door or pressed the buzzer:: he just left flowers :: and left :: luckily due to security camera my friend was able to sight something on her door way :: keep up this way and the business will for sure not last long 😂😂

We ordered a bunch of expensive flowers to be delivered to family member, who is going through a very difficult time of her life. We missed a call at 8:00 pm at night and a message later stating the driver was unable locate the delivery address although the receiver's contact number is clearly on the order. The flower never arrived. Through so much effort of calling, emailing, there is no resolution from the company. Do not order from this company. Its a scam.

My daughter in law ordered flowers for my birthday for same day delivery. I never received them, was told they would be delivered Sunday, then again on Monday. Despite repeated contact via email and phone calls, she has not received a credit, we have not received responses to the emails or phone calls. Completely unacceptable. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. My recommendation to everyone, is google search for local florists in the towns you want to deliver to and ring them direct.

Do not order from them! Did not deliver the flowers and when I asked they just said it says delivered on our end and I need to provide the information on where it was delivered. Ended up asking for a refund and they refused. Couldn't provide any evidence of delivery.

I am extremely disappointed with the level of service I have received regarding my recent flower order with Ash on 17th June2026. To my surprise, the recipient advised they had not received the flowers. When I contacted Kristy at 9:38 am, instead of taking ownership and investigating the issue, I was asked to contact my client again to confirm whether they had received the delivery. This is completely unreasonable.
It is your responsibility to provide evidence of delivery, including:
• The name of the person who accepted the delivery.
• A delivery signature or proof of receipt.
• Confirmation of the exact delivery location.
Simply sending a photograph of an unidentified person holding a box does not prove that the flowers were delivered to the intended recipient.
There is no reception at the client's premises, and I have no idea who this individual is or what was inside the box. To make matters worse, the delivery photo has now disappeared from your tracking system.
As your customer, I should not have to repeatedly contact my client to verify whether your company completed its delivery correctly. This has placed me in an embarrassing position and reflects very poorly on our business. I have now spent more than three hours making phone calls and sending emails trying to resolve an issue that should have been handled by your team.
This entire experience demonstrates a serious lack of customer service, accountability, and communication.

Offered same day delivery. I ordered and then they say they can't deliver this item to this suburb, it will have to be day or 2 late. I ask for refund and they offer delayed order

Website says 20% off first order but that didn’t happen. It was 15%
I ordered sympathy flowers - a dozen long stem WHITE roses.
Flowers arrived on time, but there were 3 yellow roses and the rest a peach colour.
No correspondence at all that they couldn’t provide what I requested (which is clearly on the website as 12 white roses). The 3 yellow roses looked like they were about to drop all the petals already.
Not impressed. Never again.

The company advertised as a Nelson same day service delivery florist. I paid a heap of $ to send flowers as a sympathy message fir the same day. Immediately I got a message saying flowers will be substituted and woukd be delivered first thing the next day. They were not delivered until late the following day. Really disappointed with that, so asked for a proportional refund... they sent $5 and refused to communicate. Totally misleading about being based in the city where you want to send flowers!!

Ordered and paid for flowers to be delivered in Masterton. Money went out of the account and we received an email to day they couldn't deliver. We asked for a refund nearly a month ago. Customer service hung up on us. These people have stolen our money. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They are engaged in fraudulent activities.

Jenny made my order smooth sailing and got my order delivered the same day! She was so quick to reply and very friendly, thank you so much Jenny! I will definitely order more from here.

I didn’t read the reviews. I realized too late that this company is fake. The flowers never got delivered and I got a scammed.

Its not all doom and gloom!

After ordering some flowers for my mum while i live in the UK, i saw the discount offer and snapped up the purchase. Only then did i google the company and found these reviews. I was horrified and thought i would have a similar experience to those reviews below. I can say I've had the opposite. I ordered a Deluxe bunch to be delivered to a home address and although it was delivered a day late (hence dropping a star) they have done a fabulous job. They notified both me and my mum that there would be a delay and offered some complimentary chocolates. My mum said the flowers arrived beautifully packaged and are absolutely stunning. So although the delivery time wasnt bang on, everything else was on point and good communication throughout.

Most people dont post reviews if it all goes smoothly, only those where it goes poorly, so if like us all, you made an order and then read these, please dont panic. Ive had a great experience!

Do not purchase from there. The flowers delivered were not even close what was advertised. Their customer service is awful with automated emails and no one to call.
Would only offer replacing or a $20 store credit as ‘goodwill’. Neither of which were appropriate.
