OakMax Limited Reviews

Easy to deal with, good prices and food good quality

Generally speaking the order and delivery were satisfactory.
Delivery with courier was a bit ah-hoc as we required to provide off loading facilities. We were aware but to get a date and approx time proved difficult as e needed to arrange persons to be available.
Some items were a bit twisted and split (approx 10 sleeper out of 60) hopefully this will add to the finished look or end as off cuts. we know it is a natural product and never perfect.
Reasonable price even factoring in the delivery price.
Thanks

The oak we order was exactly what we wanted in colour and size the delivery actually came early which was great and they were cheaper than everybody else we contacted
Would highly recommend

Good quality, good price and easy collection.

Good delivery

Drive was helpful, good mannered.

Really good communication at all stages of my order. Really happy with the timber quality and price....
Will definitely be ordering again

Posts were very good for a good price too... Delivery wasn't cheap but they were extremely heavy items... Used these guys a few times now and my posts have always been great quality.

Great value oak. No one can get anywhere near the prices and quality Oak Max offer! fantastic coms and delivery /pick up and instructions. A real pleasure to deal with, which is why I ended up going back to them a pretty quickly after my first order! Brilliant!

Good info, good delivery.
Product ok on the whole 3 out of 12 posts were bent, 2 of these very bent.
Large planks were all good
Would use again but ask quality is checked before loading

Very competitive price. Over ordered due to three pieces of timber being unusable to make gates with. One piece badly bowed, one post unusable due to deep shakes and one board with full depth shakes. BUT was able to plane and machine some superb stable pieces to make a pair of driveway gates and a single hand gate. Will buy again but will order more excess. Genuinely unbeatable value.

Good price, good delivery and great service.

Awesome product at great prices, the only let down wasn't the actual delivery ..that was fine, but they wouldn't unload it on my drive I actually had to be there to help the delivery driver. my mum was able to house sit but she couldn't help so i had to take the day off work ..very frustrating

Delivery was a disaster. Driver reversed into a neighbours drystone wall which required 3 metres rebuilding and although reported to OakMax, I never heard anything back , ended up with my neighbour dealing with the haulage company direct.
The pallet of sleepers had been loaded onto the curtain sided wagon from the side and jammed in so that it was impossible for the driver to unload them with a pallet truck so they all had to be unloaded by hand and they were heavy. Sleepers look good though

Easy to navigate website and great communication from seller, sawn oak product was exactly was i wanted, they both sanded up lovely and will look great as a my pergoda entrance pillars.

Great value & easy to deal with.
Delivered on time as promised.
Would use again without hesitation.

As a military charity we contacted OAKMAX in the hope of discounted oak planks. They did not disappoint and we were amazed at their support.

very good commuications

Great service, oak is as they say it it, very happy

The quality of the green oak sleepers was much better than expected; the surface finish was excellent, almost as though planed. Dimensions were extremely sharp, accurate and usefully consistent and the price seemed very fait to me. They select the timber and bring to the public yard for collection. If buying a single piece might be knotty or straight but the 6 sleepers I bought allowed me to choose enough straight grain for my work. In fact very few knots. Well pleased.
