From time to time whitout updates... he loses all!! all settings all presets everything. And after thirth time losing evertything en install it all over again. Thirth time is the charm i removed it complly from te pc fock off.

It is unbelievable that even with a high-end PC, this program completely freezes and crashes on its own when I try to record Minecraft. The hotkeys (keybinds) just stop working out of nowhere, and the software crashes without any explanation. It completely ruins your workflow and wastes your time. It is heavily bugged; I do not recommend it at all for content creators.

And all your precious screen recording gone beyond recovery. Sometimes can cutoff recording when system overloaded or hardware issues occur. Consumes lot of memory and stopping recording takes so much time, so i need forcefully stop it. Not worth any hassles

did an important recording from my desktop, mic is unusable, recording is unusable 140p, very strange the one time i need this terrible application it doesn't work

OBS is a piece of crap. It records fine when I test it, but the moment I actually need it, it doesn’t record anything. It works however it wants, not how I set it up. Because of this garbage software I lost some very important recordings. Completely unreliable and absolutely stupid.

Worst recording app ever to exist. I recorded so much important stuff and videos just to realise after I looked at them that they are all laggy and not understanding anything from it as it just freeze every single second. I didn't realise that something was wrong as when I was recording everything seemed really good, no laggy at all, very smooth no problem with it and nothing to indicate that something is wrong with the video. So I recorded for like a week the stuff that I needed recorded and when I opened the videos to look at them and edit they were unusable. I'm very disappointed about this as I tough this app will be much better than the one I used previously which is 1000x better than this app that I think even 1 star is too much for them. I regret downloading this app to be honest.

this software is great

I was recording for a minecraft 100 days video, and even though I was checking constantly and saw that there was an image with of the recording, making it seem as if it were capturing fine. I save the 3 and a half hours of gameplay footage, open them in my editor and in the file and they are just a black screen for 3 hours. There was no indicator that it was not properly detecting the screen, and I may have to start that video over.

A way to improve this is simply by adding an on screen indicator that something is wrong with the recording, like a little exclamation mark or text. As of now, none of these features exist, and my OBS studio is no longer picking any footage after working fine just yesterday.

Works Really Well

Awful, records at 1FPS and saves just half of the recording every single time, and whenever I have OBS open any game I try to play lags so much it's unplayable. When I try to stream it streams at 1FPS like it does when it records.

last time i used this... it was not great.
not only did it lag like s--t while a game was running smooth the video i made literally was like a couple frozen frames. i dont even know if its like this now but streamlabs obs ran WAY better,even though they are scumbags.

Need a good CPU, otherwise great. Definitely use this over some paid software, that would be dumb.

We are using OBS for our youtube channel. It's an amazing software which does its job perfectly. But sometimes the design causes some issues and that's the reason why I cut that 1 point.

This is a godsend of a tool. Very trustworthy in my book, haven't needed help since i used it, and it only took me an hour to understand how the controls and buttons work. This is a very good product for those just starting out there and don't want to spend money, as well as those who aren't very tech savvy.
