I have credit cards with many different banks. Recently tried Capital One. They are the worse for customer support. Use them at yout own risk. If you have the option, use Citi or even Chase instead. Capital One will not support your claim against a crooked seller I received wrong part due to seller's website error and Capital One gave no support.

CapOne is a complete scam, its probably not even a real bank! Their website is horrible, completely useless. Their customer service is lousy, the absolute worst you can imagine. I had disputed charges 6 months ago from a site I was scammed on. They refunded me immediately after I wasted an hour talking to the high school dropouts they employ as their customer service reps. Then 30 days later charged me everything all over again. Then I called bac to complain, they refunded me again, then charged me again. They do nothing to assist customers, they are lazy, incompetent crooks. I stopped using the card altogether but unfortunately, I can’t cancel card because then my credit score goes down. If I had known this, I would NEVER have opened credit card account in the first place! I have made the criminals all aware of this at CapOne and STILL they do nothing because as I mentioned before, they are lazy and incompetent and just don’t care. That’s why they have 1 star out of 5!

I previously was pleased with Capital One UK But as I don't do Apps I now have to accept getting statements in the post. I have complained to customer service that I can no longer have online connection because I don't do Apps. They informed me they have had lots of complaints because of this. I hope they listen.

Dishonest company report missed payments on the credit file when made payments & on time, plus do not take issues seriously like fraud on the card. Easily the worst co for issues & customer service. Do not call or reply properly as no cs team or management but send dishonest unhelpful emails from complaints not addressing issues properly and saying their service was great when wasn't

Shockingly you can’t even cancel or block the use of your lost or stolen credit card.

Must think I’m stupid! Constantly harassing me to apply for a credit card of a limit up to £8000. Applied and was declined. However I can be eligible for a £10,000 loan at an interest rate of 79% . Do these parasite rats actually think us customers are stupid!

I would like to share some feedback regarding my experience with the Ocean credit card app.

I appreciate having an Ocean account and the credit facility you provide, but I feel the current app experience is falling behind modern expectations. In today’s digital world, customers expect fast, clear and real-time updates when they use financial services.

For example, when I make a payment, it can take several days before the payment is reflected and my available balance is updated. Similarly, transactions can take a long time to appear. This makes it difficult for customers to track their spending, manage their finances and feel fully in control of their account.

Many modern financial providers now offer instant transaction updates and faster payment processing visibility. Customers are becoming used to these experiences, and slow systems can affect trust and confidence in a financial brand.

I believe Ocean has a strong customer base and a good opportunity to improve by investing in a faster, more modern app experience. Keeping up with technology is important, because customers who value speed and convenience may look elsewhere if their expectations are not met.

I hope you will take this feedback positively and continue improving the service for your customers.

I’ve got a Post Office credit card with capital one been with them for ages never missed payments always paid in full.
Never ever have they ever offered me an increase all the time I’ve been with them, also I applied for another card of there’s answer was yes back in December never heard back from them even after calling them a few time their customer services said it will be with you shortly it never arrived. So their customer services tell lies throughout so in the next few weeks they can have their post office card back and I will close the pathetic card down.

I was offered the Ocean Capital One credit card and was approved for £1000. They even sent the actual card with all the necessary information to use. But never worked!!!

Poor customer service, called to cancel a credit card. I had paid off the balance.

The agent kept putting me on hold for over 20 mins. She was speaking to someone about fraud on the other line.
I answered all her security questions.
I advised her I was working, if she could call me back.. due to the length of time she was taking. She refused. After 25 mins I hung up and my card 3 weeks later is still active.

When I first received my ocean credit card it was an utter nightmare to try and use. Constant app verification prompts for even the smallest of purchases, slow and occasional failure to accept payments for my statement, and even a call about potential risk of being a victim of fraud when I was just trying to use my card.

After refusing to use it out of irritation I have recommenced spending with it in the past few weeks and have had no issues.

Absolute useless kept my account in check for 2 years and could not get a credit increase when I have good credit elsewhere worst company ever

DO NOT USE. They are the absolute worst! Terrible customer service! Horrible communication. Most of the representatives speak poor English!!! Avoid at all costs!

Zero customer service. They have no real facilities, and you won't get most of the things you'd expect from a credit card. They run incredibly extensive ads, but it would have been much better if they invested that effort into their service. Their phone lines are completely useless; whatever you ask, they just tell you they don't do that or have no one to help you. I'm not talking about any special requests here—just basic day-to-day banking that you'd need when you have a credit card.

In short, don't waste your time. As you all know, a credit card plays a very important role in your daily life, so be very careful what you choose. Also, be aware that the Ocean credit card is now a subsidiary of Capital One, so all the weaknesses you find in Capital One are present in Ocean as well, even though they never mention this in their ads.

Unable to express my real feelings as my review would not be published, but capital one/ocean ( who are not the only guilty parties ), unfortunately put cheap Labour which they exploit, off shore call centres over providing a more customer friendly service by employing people in the UK which would boost our economy and give the much needed employment opportunities to growing employment.
I will no longer be dealing with them and they can whistle for their MONEY.

Worst company out there plaguing me with constant rubbish messages every day trying to get me to sign up to them .never going to happen not only are you a total menace your ethics are non existent
