Great experience from start to finish

Terrible, slow, inefficient Dispute Resolution Team

Dear Mr Bingham

I have been chasing this disputed transaction since the 11th of August, 2026, I have called your company to report this issue, it seems like the company that took my payment are scammers, so please reverse and refund me my £48.00 ASAP, this was supposed to have been done on the 25th September , and here we are on the 16th October and no refund yet.

This level of lack of service is totally unacceptable in this day and age , when issues like this can be sorted and dealt with quickly.

I would like to report this matter as a serious complaint to your senior Management.

I look forward to my refund of £48.00 very soon.

Spent over 90 minutes on the phone with their customer service today. Unauthorised payments going back three weeks and reported at the time are still showing against my balance. No apparent record of my contact, if I hadn’t rung again they’d have been none the wiser, and had to repeat my concern five or six times - involving two separate agents - due to background noise and lack of first language English operators. Pay my bill off in full every month by DD, no penalty charges incurred after 14 months of using the card, but now I face charges/penalties for not paying my next statement balance in full for transactions I didn’t authorise. Merchant is refusing to provide me with proof of transactions so I have little choice but expect Capital One to sort this out. Card cancelled and replaced and now locked as I have no intention of using it again. Three weeks and not even close to being sorted to any satisfaction.

The application process was straightforward less than 5 minutes.
Decision was given immediately, non stressful process. ,excellent service and informative.
